I told fanduel I would accept the terms and conditions and play under them and I only would contact a lawyer because they are hindering me like making a living, since this is how I make a livingI had my account closed for the months they stated and would just like it to he reopened now

We have recently implemented a new verification process, which asks all FanDuel users to verify their identity by providing various forms of identification. This process is in place to ensure our users are able to participate in a safe and fair environment
However, this user was unwillingly to complete this process, and we have thus gone ahead and allowed them to withdraw their remaining balance as well as closed their account as requested

I recently opened a fanduel account I had a previous account that my wife used mostly so I decided to open my own. Since my name was on both accounts this is where it begins.
They allowed me to open the account and make bets for over a week.
I did receive the welcome 25.00 bonus (not the reason I opened the account) but both weeks I only wagered less than I deposited. I won a small amount the first week and I believe a much larger win on my monday night wagers.
After the first game I was up on the top and I went to get back in and they had suspended my account.
They at first tried to give me a fraction of what I deposited and would not tell me what I won or give access to that account.
Now they said they refunded the entire 25.00 and I was not eligable for the beginner contest or acess because I had another account under my name. It is escalating at this point and if they do not at least tell or show me what the winnings were I will be contacting a lawyer.
This is very frustrating and unproffesional

" background-">We write in response to your consumer complaint (#[redacted]) regarding a recent check from FanDuel

To whom it may concern, We write in response to [redacted]’s recent consumer complaint regarding product issues at FanDuel. After review of [redacted]'s account, [redacted]'s account with the username "[redacted]" was suspended on 3/** after FanDuel received notice that a recent $200 payment he made...

to FanDuel had been disputed by the cardholder.  FanDuel's initial communication with [redacted] following his account's suspension was an effort by FanDuel's Loss Prevention team to verify that [redacted] is in fact the cardholder in question.  This is a standard practice as part of the payment dispute process at FanDuel.  Further, it appears that [redacted] did not win the contest mentioned in his initial complaint.  Attached is a screenshot including a detailed breakdown of the scores of [redacted]'s team from 3/**, and the winner of the contest in question.  [redacted]'s account will remain suspended until FanDuel has received the funds from the disputed $200 payment in question.  In the meantime, [redacted] can communicate with FanDuel's Loss Prevention team directly by reaching out to [redacted]. Regards, Jason F[redacted] Sr. Director, Customer Support & Strategy FanDuel

[Your Answer Here]Nothing in their response addresses their deceptive advertising. Also, I never asked for my money back, so I'm not sure why their response states that I am ineligible for a refund. Mostly, I would like to know what, if anything, will change in their advertising.

We continue our correspondence with [redacted] and have seemingly cleared up any previous concerns. We consider this matter closed, as we have closed [redacted]'s account per his request and settled his remaining balance ($200 refunded to his card, $25 refunded to his [redacted] account, and $18.20 by check to his address: [redacted]).

Trust with our players is core to our business and has always been our primary concern so we take any potential game integrity issue very seriously. We are not issuing refunds for lost entry fees at this time. There is no evidence indicating that the integrity of FanDuel's contest(s) were in...

any way compromised, or that non-public information was used for unfair advantage. For a full statement on the matter, we advise all users read the following from our newsroom: [redacted]

We were able to find the entry this user is referring to, which was credited to their account for free as part of a promotion we were running.  However, this user now lives in an ineligible state, which means they are not able to compete in any contests on FanDuel. Thus, while this is...

certainly an unfortunate situation, we had to cancel this free entry for the user and will not be providing any refund for this entry, as no funds were removed from their account to pay for the entry.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

But you did hold my funds. If those are your rules, then you are holding funds illegally. I deposited the incorrect amount by mistake in order to withdraw the remainder of my funds. Why should I not be able to get a refund for the exact amount that I deposited, directly back to the method of payment I used? You are saying that once a deposit is made, then the money belongs to FanDuel, until the player that made the deposit plays through a "majority" of those funds. Why?

As mentioned previously, this user is not eligible for any refund under this current complaint.  While it is unfortunate that they did not have more success in contests, this does not take away from the fact that FanDuel is legal and considered a game of skill.
