Your request for refund has been noted and is being processed You should receive your refund within the next days

As per the letter I received Monday, November 3, I am requesting a refund of $I sent to the attached Pursuant to the fact the requested amount of $via this business has no jurisdiction in requesting said money for renewal of my business I did not know that this transaction should not have occurred until I went to the Fresno County Clerk's office located at [redacted] *** and was informed that the renewal request from Sacramento was a fraud because Sacramento had nothing to do with my renewal process After reading your letter in reference to the following: "THIS CUSTOMER HAS NOT CONTACTED US REQUESTING A REFUND AS OF TODAY'S DATE WE WILL ISSUE A REFUND THIS WOULD HAVE ALREADY HAPPENED IF SHE WOULD HAVE CONTACTED US REQUESTING A REFUND WE ARE A SERVICE COMPANY, WE RENEW FICTITIOUS BUSINESS NAMES FOR COMPANIES WHO WANT THAT SERVICE THIS CUSTOMER RESPONDED TO OUR SOLICITATION WITH PAYMENT SINCE SHE DOESN'T WANT OUR SERVICE A REFUND WILL BE ISSUED." ?? Of course I responded to the renewal request because I thought it was legitimate This is a prudent attempt to extort money from individuals If this was legitimate why would I be informed that this was a fraudulent transaction, plus I cannot renew my business name until the end of November because that is the earliest I can renew via the Fresno County Clerk's office I followed up with this by going through the Revdex.com, as I should have, due to the number of numerous scams

I was deceived into thinking I was dealing with the official [redacted] office, the mail I received, indicated "Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center",It wasn't until several weeks later when I received another notice of expiration, I did a little digging into this company and discovered they were a third party and have no intentions of paying my renewal feesThey charged me $for the renewal of my Fictitious business name, and then sent me another notice a week later I owed another $for publishing, I mailed a check, for $and have since put a stop payment on the check with my bank, I found out publishing is not required for renewal, only the original filing, so they have my credit card number, my bank acctnumber, from the check, scaryI went and paid the renewal fee myself, which was $and would like your help getting my $back, the $check was not cashed and now has a stop payment attached to that check, which cost me $

Like many others, I received a letter from Fictitious Business Renewal Center stating my business name was going to expire, and that I must include a signed county form or else my FBN will not be filedThe form and paperwork were all crafted to look like an official government invoice, and made it sound like we have to pay $to send in a check of $This company is a scam and even after we paid, the correct form and check have not filed (upon checking the [redacted] website)Not only are their letters deceiving and misleading, they have not completed their simply duty promptlyWe are in the process of filing the FBN form and payment on our own

This company solicited me through the mail posing as the ones who I need to send money (125.00) to , to renew my FBN I did this without researching first, as it looked legit

Thank you for providing the information necessary to look this up Attached is a copy of the notice that you received This is from the County of San Diego and was received by them on 3/12/by Deputy [redacted] This would not that we have completed the filing process for you and it is possible that it is backlogged at the county offices If you have any questions regarding the completion on the counties end, please contact the County of San Diego at [redacted] and reference file # [redacted] .To prevent any further confusion, I will also remove Looking Glass Photography from our mailing list

I received a renewal form and was asked to pay $to FBNRC to renew my fictious business name by August I paid this money and found out today that this did not renew my fictitious business name and in fact it does not need to be renewed until Dec and the amount to pay is only $ This company lied to me and posed as San Diego county recorder They did not say they were a third party and not with San Diego county This was extremely misleadingToday, I received a renewal form from San Diego county to actually renew my fictitious business name and the fee is $ I would like to refund of my $so I can actually renew and pay the right recorder Very misleading of FBNRC! I have called and called them but their number continues to go unanswered

Can you provide the company name? That information is needed to research and resolve

This company makes their mailer look almost exactly like a true fictitious business name renewal form Beware!! It's a scam and if you visit your county' s website, hopefully they will display a notice warning you about this scam They charge three to four times more than the county renewal fee Don't fall for these mailers! Always visit the actual company or government agency's website before you send your hard-earned money anywhere!

This transaction took place at the end of March, however I did not realize what had transpired until I reviewed and checked out this company to find out what was going on. Company sent my home based business a very misleading Fictitious Business Name Expiration Notice. It appeared very official and also provided a page of large bold font that indicated I needed to get the these documents back to them or my renewal would not be completed. I sent them the required forms and $150, thinking at the time that I was dealing with Contra Costa County and not a private company. What they send out is designed to mislead and trick you into availing yourself of their services

We do want to inform... you that we have been doing business for over 20 years without issue. We also do include disclaimers on the #10 envelope as well as on the solicitation that we ARE NOT a Government Agency and we are not representing ourselves as such. That being said, your refund is being processed and you should receive that within the next 7-14 business days. Your information is also being removed from our database.

We received a notice that we needed to renew our fictitious business name and to return it by 8/31/18. We sent them a check for $125.00 to cover the fee and their charges. The check was mailed out and deposited in August. It is now October and they haven't done anything. We have tried numerous times to talk to someone and we can't ever get an answer on the phone. We decided to just take care of this ourselves. We have paid and filed our own paperwork.

This organization is trying to collect credit card payments for a Fictitious business name years before the due date for more money than is required with the [redacted] Clerk-Recorded for the County of Orange in Southern California, a legal government agencyI have not contracted with this company to pay any of my bills and I fell they are collecting money from business owners under representation

Hello, This business has sent out Fictitious Business Renewal documents that request money for the renewal that they do not take a part inOut accounting has sent them a check that was ashed by the business for services that they cannot fulfillWe would like that money returned to usIt was for the amount of $125- since we have now missed our date to file with the appropriate office we would also ask that they cover any fines that we may receive for their business practice

This company sends out misleading mailers that are easily misconstrued as official notifications from the US GovernmentAfter seeing their dismal rating on the Revdex.com, I decided to contact them directly I spoke with an employee, Brenda, on 10/03/18, who stated that if I returned all documents they had mailed us, we would be issued a full refund All documents were sent via USPS certified mail and have been signed for by FBNRC It is now 10/23/and we have not received our refund

I am rejecting this response because: In looking into this issue further and calling the phone number provided, it appears that the filing did happen, but my business name was misspelled on the form Instead of it stating the name as Looking Glass Photography, the file submitted has a missing "o" in Photography and is misspelled as "Phtography" Please re-file my business name renewal form with the correct spelling

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, so long as they follow through with the refund

Received notification from this entity that my Fictitious Business Name was expiring Which it was this year, so didn't think much of it They market themselves as the entity you need to renew with so your FBN doesn't expire Preying on busy small business owners who need all the help they can get, I failed to realized they were fake, mailed them my $check as requested, which was of course cashedAnd never heard from them or received any communication Is there any way to get my money back, and shut down this vulturous despicable organization

I received a notice in the mail that stated I needed to pay $to renew my Fictious Business NameThe notice did not state that they are a company that does services but had in big bold letters FICTIOUS BUSINESS NAME RENEWAL on the top of the page Being a new business owner and still learning all the items to renew and licenses to pay, I sent the check and it was cashed on 10/01/I recently received the official notice of renewal in the mail for $and that is how I became aware of the scam from this businessThey did not preform and services for myself or company but did cash my check for $

Whoops, I could have fallen for thisThere is a disclaimer at the bottom of the form stating that they are "not associated with any government." That, along with the incorrect expiration date and the rather large fee were the clues that this was not legitimate
