Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center Reviews (159)

I was prompted to send $to renew my fictitious business name back in August 1st I sent the check and the official formsI was given a form in September to finish filling out and I then submitted it back to Fictitious Business Name Renewal CenterI have not heard from them since then
Today I received a letter from the San Bernardino County Clerk's office stating that I owed $to renew my Fictitious Business NameThat is when I learned that I was scammed out of $To this day my Fictitious Business name remains unpaid and unprocessedThis company came in under pretenses and took money from me for services that were unrendered
Essentially, they took my money and ran

I have received a Fictitious Business Name Expiration Notice which I ignored as they wanted $for this and when I checked them out I saw it was a scam I renewed my Fictitious Business Name at the County Clerk's office for $ I have now received a second notice from the Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center What a scam How many folk send them $when they can do it themselves for $in Contra Costa County?

Received their flyer in the mail todayLuckily, upon looking at the fee ($125), and the statement about not been approved or endorsed by any government agency, I sensed a scamChecking with the county recorder's office confirmed my suspicion; the filing fee is only $40, and I still have months before I need to pay
Compliance Filings may believe that they've taken care of the matter by the advisory statement, but frankly that's disingenuous in the extremeWhy have a notice at the top of the page that screams "IMPORTANT: Return no later than [insert date]"And why charge times the price for something that a company or individual can easily complete in minutes online?
Why this company hasn't been given a 'cease and desist' notice is beyondTheir business license should be terminated!

We received an Annual Minutes Compliance Notice and when I called their number *** to have our company name removed from their list the woman who claimed to be the owner, wouldn't give me her name and when I told her that her company was apparently a scam and I wanted our name removed she called me a " *** and that she didn't need to deal with this after owning the company for years Clearly she was rude and owns a scam operation, by the complaints listed on Revdex.com and the web in general

I received a notice to renew our business nameThe next day, I received a similar letter from the CountyI had the FBNRC form all filled out, ready to send in, before I did some researchThank god I didJust saved my company from having to pay $to this company, for something that costs $from the stateTotal scam

I ALMOST fell for thisI was in bill paying auto pilot and was ready to pay $to renew our Ficticious Business Name when I started taking a closer look and remembered renewals are always done through our county officeThey make this look so officialWhat a scamBeware!!

The BAD part of this review is for "Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center" who contacted me recently looking for $in relation to my fictitious business name re-newalI had to put a star ( for a negative review) but you deserve negative stars, black holes evenI did not appreciate your trying to insert yourself in my businessThe GOOD part of this review is a Thank You Revdex.com for putting The "Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center" (FBNEN) on LineI received a notice from the FBNEN in the mail recentlyI saw the information in your complaints and I am steering clear of the "Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center"You did a good job Revdex.comThe FBNEN services looked legit to me on first glance, they wanted $150.00, and they had a deadline of 3/31/My last minute look into the company paid off with the information the Revdex.com providedKeep up the good work Revdex.com

They mailed a renewal letter - charged my credit card $and then we received a letter from the County saying that we need to pay them the renewal fee of $ So we paid Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center $for something they didn't perform at all

This company solicited me through the mail posing as the ones who I need to send money (125.00) to , to renew my FBN
I did this without researching first, as it looked legit

I received a renewal form and was asked to pay $to FBNRC to renew my fictious business name by September 30, I paid this money and found out today that this did not renew my fictitious business name and the amount to pay is only $This company lied to me and posed as San Diego county recorderThe materials they sent me were extremely misleading I would like to refund of my $so I can actually renew and pay the right recorderVery misleading of FBNRC! I have called and called them but their number continues to go unanswered

Was sent a Fictitious business name renewal formIt looked officialDidn’t say they were offering a ‘service’Was too busy to do my due diligence (my fault) Wrote them a check for $They cashed it then sent me another letter to sign authorizing them to be my agent so they can file the paper work That’s when I became suspicious and looked it up Called the number three times to get my money back with no answer or return callLook at Revdex.com and found the other complaints which sound similar

I received a notice in the mail from the Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center stating my Fictitious Business Name renewal was due in the amount of $ I mailed the check on Nov21, and on Dec20, received a notice from the ACTUAL county clerk recorder requesting the $renewal feeMy forms were never filed and I am requesting a full refund

I was misled and not advised that this was a "private" company According to the County Clerk, they failed to file my Ficticious Business Name with the Stanislaus County Clerk Recorder, so I request a REFUND immediately

I am furious that this company charged me $to renew my fictitious business name I thought it was a legitimate notice from the county only to find out that the county charges $40! My fault for not paying attention to notice but it was my first time renewing my business name and the letter seemed official

I am a doctor of audiology that has a fictitious business name registered with the County of Riverside, CA My renewal date for the fictitious business name was 3/18/ In November of I received a renewal notice from the company calling themselves Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center on official stationery informing me that I had to pay them $by November 30, to avoid cancellation of my fictitious business name I felt the renewal fee was very large considering the original fictitious business name filing was only $ However, I paid them the $for the renewal fee Several months later in early March of I received a notice from the County of Riverside stating that I had to renew my fictitious business name for a fee of $ Because nothing had been filed from the Sacramento company I paid the requested $to the County of Riverside
I spoke with the county of Riverside filing office this morning and they informed me the company in Sacr

I spoke with a woman named Brenda from this company they use many DBA's Fictitious Business Name Revenue Services, Trademark Renewal Services, Patent Renewal Services and Corporate Compliance Center. She states she is the company's managerShe has no proper etiquetteVery sarcastic when I asked to speak with an upper authority and she responds how many owners sit around and answer callsThis company sends you an invoice that replicates the one that they county send you to renew your Fictitious Business nameI sent in $to renew mine and I come to find out through the county that they never received my payment, but yet I have a copy of the check that was cashed when the county verified how much I paid I said $They stated that it must of been paid through a third party vendor because to renew directly with the county is only $I called Corporatefilings.com @916-480-and as I mentioned this woman Brenda answers and I ask about my check they cashed and never paid the county to renew my fictitious business name and she says that I never signed the form that she needed to file with the countyFirst of all, the form I signed both my husband and I was identical to the one the county send you for renewal Brenda is extremely rude, sarcastic and just a plain ugly human being to deal withAfter verifying the address to mail my money back which will now take weeks to receive I told her why were they holding on to my money and not mail it back to us months ago when they were supposedly trying to get in touch with us and was unsuccessfulThat check should have been mailed right back to usThey should of not cashed in my check at all before completing their services Especially missing a signed form that impeded for them to fulfill my services needed which was to file the renewal of my fictitious business nameThey have no idea what predicament they have put us through with the county because now due to the fact that the renewal is invalid and expired I have to republish and pay the local newspaper to publish our business as brand new and run in straight for weeks once a week that runs $$which we have already paid for in the past years agoNow due to this company's negligence we have to succumb to this otherwise we do not have a fictitious business name

This company sent me a solicitation advertising that they would renew my fictitious business name and after having my money months and not renewing for me, I did so myself and at 1/of the costThe business rep tried to say that it was my fault for not turning in a follow up letter that I never receivedThese people have made interest on my money for months and are now saying its my fault that they never completed the processThe rep I spoke to talked to me like I was an it or a child and hung up on meWhen I called back, she refused to let me speak to a supervisor and told me she had more important things to do than answer my questionsShe said she had many people who were satisfied with the service, so it must be just me! This company is a scam! I paid them $to do that it cost me $to do myself, and I had to do it myself, because they never gave me the service I paid forShe informed me that the Revdex.com could not help me and had no powerI know you can

This business using verbiage that suggests they are part of the County offices collecting for my Fictitious Business nameI realized today that I may have mistakenly in the past paid them $every year thinking I am paying my fee to the county recorderThey solicit with a "Bill" that states in large CAPS that my Fictitious Business name is expiring which it does not until next springThey also quote laws as though if I do not pay I would be in violation of the business filing laws and lose my business nameI am very upset that they conned me for years and I paid excessive of the $refiling fee I actually owe for renewal
