Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center Reviews (159)

This company sent me a bill stating my fictitious business name statement is about to expire
So, I sent my $in right away only to find out several months later that my
fictitious business name statement expired
It looked legitimate I had no reason to quetion it I can't believe I was scammed

Like many others, I received a letter from Fictitious Business Renewal Center stating my business name was going to expire, and that I must include a signed county form or else my FBN will not be filedThe form and paperwork were all crafted to look like an official government invoice, and made it sound like we have to pay $to send in a check of $This company is a scam and even after we paid, the correct form and check have not filed (upon checking the ** *** *** *** *** website)Not only are their letters deceiving and misleading, they have not completed their simply duty promptlyWe are in the process of filing the FBN form and payment on our own

This company is complete BS How are they allowed to do this? This is unbelievable Like everybody else who reviewed I received a bill with the "fictitious business name renewal center" name on it Stating I owed $to renew my FBN I contacted the county when I found out I had to have my business published in the newspaper again She told me I only have to pay them $and they will notarize and then I contact the newspaper for publishing again When I called the FBNRC to get a refund the lady was a complete B* when I told her I was reporting her to the Revdex.com Please put these people out of business!!!!!!!

We will need the name of the business to research and resolve this matter

A check solicited for $by the Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center on a $fee to the Orange County Clerk-Recorder in violation of need to include a disclaimer was cashed on January 19th, through my *** *** account and without paying the Orange County Clerk-Recorder for a Fictitious Business Name Statement dueThe County Clerk-Recorder's Office advised me to contact the Revdex.com

In June, I received a very official looking communication reminding me that I needed to renew my Fictitious Business Name I filled out the form, attached a check for $and forwarded this on June 6,
Ninety days later, after no performance of the service, I sent them a letter asking them for a refundNothing has been forthcoming
I want a refund of $plus about $for postage, Certified Mail and return receipt mail costs, and mileage

I received an official-looking notice indicating my Fictitious Business Name Renewal date was coming upI submitted the form aling with a check for $I later received a notice from the county clerk’s office reminding me of the renewal dateI didn’t do anything, since I had already submitted the renewal and paymentThis is my 1st time renewing, therefore, I didn’t realize the first notice I received was coming from a 3rd party agencyI just found out that the renewal price is about 1/of what I paidI am requesting a refund

This company created an account without my authorization They are also applying bogus unauthorized charges for something I never signed up

We would recommend, at this point, the business owner go directly to the county office and take care of the re-file in person. We would be happy to do the re-file again with the corrected information provided by the business owner and the county, again as the information we had was from the original incorrect filing done in 2010.In order for us to re-file, it will be a timeline of about weeks. Please let us know how to proceed?

Received a document saying I needed to send them $in order to avoid my Non-Profit group's Fictitious Business Name from expiring It was very misleadingI was not aware that there could be businesses like these "offering" to file our fictitious business name for usThe form didn't state that they were a private business offering this serviceI didn't intend to use a service to file this simple document

I was deceived into thinking I was dealing with the official *** *** *** *** office, the mail I received, indicated "Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center",It wasn't until several weeks later when I received another notice of expiration, I did a little digging into this company and discovered they were a third party and have no intentions of paying my renewal feesThey charged me $for the renewal of my Fictitious business name, and then sent me another notice a week later I owed another $for publishing, I mailed a check, for $and have since put a stop payment on the check with my bank, I found out publishing is not required for renewal, only the original filing, so they have my credit card number, my bank acctnumber, from the check, scaryI went and paid the renewal fee myself, which was $and would like your help getting my $back, the $check was not cashed and now has a stop payment attached to that check, which cost me $

Compliance Filings, Inclead me to believe that they were the official party responsible for renewing my fictitious business name, when in fact the only party that is in charge of informing me and renewing my fictions business name is the Alameda County Clerk-Recorder(*** *** ***, Oakland, CA 94607) whom I contacted to follow up on some information regarding my renewal application sent by Compliance FilingThe Alameda County Clerk- Recorder office informed me that they do not work with Compliance Filing and that I should not have my fictions business name renewed by themIn the letters I received from Compliance Filing, they call themselves Fictitious Business Renewal Center, leading me to believe that they were the official party responsible for informing me and processing my fictitious business name renewal, so I paid a fee of $USD believing I was working with the appropriate party
I would like to have my $refunded to me by Compliance FilingI feel it w

THEY ARE SENDING MY COMPANY LETTERS TELLING ME I HAVE TO GIVE THEM MONEY THEY ARE NOT THE GOVERNMENT OR STATE

On March 12, I received an advertisement from this company claiming they would file all the necessary documentation with the County of Riverside, California to renew my DBA I completed the paperwork required and sent them a $check which cleared my bank on March 23, To date I have received no recording notice After checking on line, my DBA is due to expire in days I will now have to drive to Riverside to complete the paperwork and pay additional funds for filing

I am rejecting this response because:in response to Compliance Filing, Inc., my business name is CRID

This company sends out misleading mailers that are easily misconstrued as official notifications from the US GovernmentAfter seeing their dismal rating on the Revdex.com, I decided to contact them directly I spoke with an employee, Brenda, on 10/03/18, who stated that if I returned all documents they had mailed us, we would be issued a full refund All documents were sent via USPS certified mail and have been signed for by FBNRC It is now 10/23/and we have not received our refund

I received a renewal expiration notice from "Fictitious Business Name Renewal Center" It looked legit since they had all my information and it was requested to be returned on 11/30/ without due diligence, I sent the payment for $ I just received a letter from "*** ** ***, JR Recorder/County Clerk Requesting me to "RENEW" my Fictitious name! I checked the Revdex.com site and found all these complaints about this company, and found out as well that this is a PRIVATE business!! their letters look legit I am requesting a full refund since I am paying to the County of San Diego to renew my fictitious name
Thank you, Jamie

They charge me to to file my fictitious Business license and I had to have it notarized to for another and they didn't even turn in my paper work to get it done they are a fraud taking small business owners money and failing themI have to now go down and pay for my license and hope they will renew because it's past my date I paid them back in July I want my money back they need to be stopped they have over complaints on yelp please review times are to hard for them to be taking small business owners moneyAnd should be illegal

I received the same type of letter and was very confused why they only gave us less than weeks to pay for one, for two our FBN hasn't met it's year mark and three the county does not send out notifications when it is dueAnother red flag is that my county's fees are times less than this billThanks to researching online and came across the Revdex.com spared me of a big headache in the futureBewareCheck with your county first and pay them directly

The company misrepresent themselves as a government agency and sent our company a bill for business name renewal After paying via credit card, we found out through our accountant this is a scam We have called to have the company to refund our $125, we were told a confirmation email will be sent....no sign of it To be safe, we have reported to our credit card company to dispute the charge due to fraud and request for a credit card replacement
