Site on July 1/20 my bank said they took 74.33 dollar when I paid zendesk.com already for the device now they got me twice Fixd.automotive. *** l

I've been waiting for this product for three weeks and nothing has happened so I want to let you know that I contact the bank and I contact fix it Automotive yesterday and July 1st they decided take 74 something dollars out of my account which I did not authorize them to do that

I am sorry about the confusion! When you signed up for the subscription, we gave you a week to try it out. The automatic billing starts after that trial period. Since there was some confusion around this, I went ahead and issued a refund for the subscription.

FRAUD ALERT!!!

A month ago I purchased a FIXD ODB2 scanner on FIXD web site. The payment was made via PayPal; my browser was redirected to PayPal to confirm the purchase and payment before order is completed on FIXD web site. This first purchase was okay,

After the payment and order for the scanner was submitted, FIXD web site displayed a 25% promo sales on their premium subscription service. They displayed a link that supposedly would let me claim or reserve the promo discount. There is also countdown timer displayed showing about 30 minutes left until the promo ends. (yup tricky upsell trick).

I thought why not go claim or reserve the discount now, put the subscription purchase in my shopping cart first, go read more about the features of "premium subscription" and then decide if I want buy it. The link did NOT say "purchase", "buy", or "submit payment". It seems safe enough to click.

So I clicked on the promo's claim / reserve discount link. However, FIXD immediately charged me $50+ to my PayPal account WITHOUT redirecting me to PayPal web site to confirm and submit additional payment. They simply charged my PayPal account without my consent!!

After I spent some time looking at my PayPal account trying to figure out what happened, it turned out that FIXD has sneakily and fraudulently setup my first PayPal payment for the scanner as "automatic payment" in my PayPal account instead of the usual one-time payment you would expect for merchandise purchase.

And they sneakily and fraudulent charged my PayPal account when I click on a claim / reserve discount link. The link did not say "purchase", "buy" or "submit payment".

Within an hour of this fraudulent charge by FIXD, I went to their web site to see how to get refund. Their FAQ say refund requests for subscription should be submitted on the following page:

So I submitted a refund request after the fraudulent charge.

Two weeks later, I didn't hear from them so I submitted another request on the same page.
Another week later, I submitted a third refund request on the web page.
Still no response from FIXD.

So after a month, I emailed my refund request directly to their customer support instead of submitting more refund requests on that useless web page.

The next day I finally received an email from FIXD and they said in the email that they have CANCELLED my subscription but they CANNOT ISSUE REFUND to me due to their "two week refund policy".

I went back to read the order confirmation email from a month ago and there is NO mention of any "two week refund policy".

I also checked the another email containing the activation code of premium subscription and it says at the button of the email "Subscription cost billed annually, cancel anytime".

Apparently FIXD thinks "cancel anytime" does not include any refund (even if it's prorated).

FIXD support has not responded to my additional inquiries so I think it's hopeless to deal with them.

In summary, here are the sneaky and fraudulent things FIXD have done to me:

1) FIXD setup my PayPal payment as an "automatic payment" for merchandise purchase. Merchandise purchase should always be one-time payment that always require customer confirmation on PayPal web site. My payment confirmation was only for the purchase of scanner and not any subscription nor recurring future payments.

2) FIXD displayed a promo "claim / reserve discount" link which, when I clicked, immediately and fraudulently charged my PayPal account via the sneaky "automatic payment" they setup minutes earlier when I submitted payment for the purchase or scanner.

3) Not stating "two week refund policy" in either order confirmation email nor the subscription activation code email. That "Subscription cost billed annually, cancel anytime" statement in the activation code email implies refund (even if it's prorated) can be requested from FIXD. Who would cancel a prepaid annual subscription and lose access premium features if refund is not possible ?

4) After ignoring my refund requests for FOUR weeks, FIXD finally responded to my email and did the unthinkable:
A) Cancelled my premium subscription.
B) Refused to issue refund to me by claiming some obscure "two week refund policy" which is not found in order confirmation email I received.

After my negative experience dealing with FIXD, I started paying more attention to other negative reviews on various web sites. And I found there are tons of "fraud alert" negative reviews of FIXD. I wish I had read those reviews first.

Rip Off. They hit your credit card even after you CANCEL.

Deceitful practices
When the product comes they offer a 7 day free trial for monthly monitoring at a cost of $69.99 a yr which is to be charged at the end of the 7 day if not canceled. I signed up on June 18 2020 and on 19 Jun there was $69.99 paid to Fixd from my bank. According to the the 7 days I had until 25 Jun to cancel but the money was immediately withdrawn.

Desired Outcome

I would like them to honor their offer and not to charge people until the end of the time they say they offer or don't make the offer in the first place.

Hello! We are so sorry for the confusion! The trial starts when you subscribe, which would have been on June 4th. We still want you to have a chance to try it out, so I issued a refund, and gave you 7 more days. Please note, since the subscription has been refunded, you will need to pay again to get access for the rest of the year!

I was dissatisfied with product and seller refused to give refund as advertised.
I purchased 2 vizr products from vendor and, when I received them, realized the ad was misleading and the product was
not what I expected.
When I called to get a return label I was told it was not returnable due to being a clearance item.
This was not stated at time of purchase. The ad stated 30 day
money back guarantee and no mention of being a clearance item. This is unethical business practice.
I saw reviews from other buyers who experienced the same problem. One was eventually given a refund.
The amount of my purchase was approx. $60.00.

Product was mailed to me without me ordering. I have never ordered from them or given my credit card information. Never received email from them.Recei
Received FIXD auto scanner in mail 06/10/2020 without ordering it or knowing anything about them.I never received any email from them with order # or confirmation of order or shipping. The product has been charged to my credit card without me giving any information regarding it to them. The ID # on the package is
GU2S88FIXD. My bank, Wells Fargo, gave me FIXD phone # and I called them. FIXD customer service couldn't help, saying a supervisor would call me about returning the product. With the charges on my credit card was also a premium for some kind of subscription, for total of $66.00

I order their product on 5-29-2020. I still have not recieved it.I contacted them told me to give it a couple days which I did. Still no product. Now they took $69.99 out of my acctount which I didn't authorize. No response. I want a full refund for $19.99 for product never recieved and $69.99 they took from my account that I did not authorized. It was taken from my Huntington Bank account thru my debit card that I used to purchase the item. Order number FIXDXXXXXX

I never recieved the product. It has not been delivered here.Still waiting on refund for product I did not recieve Been waiting since May. They didi however issue me a $69.99 that they did not have authorization to take. I Still have no product.Or refund for $19.99. for product I have yet to recieved

Hello! I am sorry that you didn't receive the sensor! I just issued a refund for that as well.

Keep in mind, that you signed up for the premium subscription when you placed the order. In order to not receive the charge, you have to cancel it within the trial window.

Refund for premium account. I ordered this device online. Thinking that I was still in the 7 Day trial, but I was charged for the full year
I am still in 2 days into the free trial of the premium and they deducted the $96 and some change from my chequing account. When I have asked for a refund for this unregistered account they just blow me off. They tell me to use the account dashboard. I gave no account and don't want one. I want my money back.
I want the charge for the Premium account returned to my bank account. Any further charges they may plan should also be cancelled.

I ordered the fixd device for the purchase price $19.99. I received it but I was also charged $52.50. I have try to reach them to get back not able to
I ordered the fixd device for the price stated for $19.99 and it took forever to get it and then they charged me the $19.99 but also $52.50. I tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I am on a fixed income and this really hurt plus it doesn't work.

I would like both the $19.99 and the $52.50 refunded because it didn't work but really want the $52.50 back as no reason for it.

I bought the sensor from them and it came within a week. I purposefully did not go for the 1 week free trial because I knew I would forget to cancel. Well they took it upon themselves to charge me $69.99 for the 1 year premium and I didn't even sign up for it!! I emailed them 5 days ago and just got an email today that wasn't helpful in the slightest. In the app there is no record that I even have premium either. I don't know how to even cancel it. I feel like I'll have to end up getting a new debit card and dispute the transaction with my bank all because I have no idea how it even charged me!! If this is how they do business then I won't go to them again.

I bought a the devise for $20 dollars and after 2 weeks it charged me $69.99 for no reason. Email them and they have not respond to what is this.
So I bought the devise couple weeks ago for $20 dollars. That what their ad said so and now I have a charge of $69.99 for reason I dont know. I had emailed them regarding about the charge but have not respond. I just want a refund of that unauthorized charge. The devise doesn't work anyway. I filing a complaint so others wont fall into their fraudulent activity.

As for the charge, that is for the the Premium Subscription that you signed up for. We do offer a 2 week grace period from the charge date on top of the free trial that you already received. Because of that, I went ahead and issued the refund for the subscription.

In the future, we do ask for a little more time to handle any complaints. We are always happy to help!

Fraudulent company
I purchased a sensor for my car may 11th 2020 never recieved it and on may 25th 2020 they made a transaction on my credit card that was not authorized.
Now they say in an automated email to download the app to cancel or get refunded. I did not not download the app because I will not make an account that I will never used more recieved their product. Now my credit has instructed with all the info needed to get reimbursed and led me to your website to file a complaint.
After so many complaints why are you not removing their business license and the credit card vendors so they'll stop stealing from people, especially their fake advertising on Facebook.

Since you have not received the order, we have issued a full refund.

As for the subscription- This was an authorized charge since you accepted the billing agreement upon checkout. The subscription was for a yearly amount of $69.99 with the payment delayed for the first week. The free trial is so that you can decide to keep it or cancel it before the billing cycle starts. Since there was some obvious confusion around this, we have also issued a full refund for the subscription.
