Fraudulent company
I purchased a sensor for my car may 11th 2020 never recieved it and on may 25th 2020 they made a transaction on my credit card that was not authorized.
Now they say in an automated email to download the app to cancel or get refunded. I did not not download the app because I will not make an account that I will never used more recieved their product. Now my credit has instructed with all the info needed to get reimbursed and led me to your website to file a complaint.
After so many complaints why are you not removing their business license and the credit card vendors so they'll stop stealing from people, especially their fake advertising on Facebook.

Desired Outcome

Fully reimbursed

FIXD Automotive Response • May 26, 2020

Hello!
We are very sorry about any frustration that this has caused you. With the global pandemic, some shipping issues can be expected. While we cannot directly control shipping, we will always make sure our customers receive their product. This is why we advise our customers to reach out to us directly so we can make things right. Since you have not received the order, we have issued a full refund.

As for the subscription- This was an authorized charge since you accepted the billing agreement upon checkout. The subscription was for a yearly amount of $69.99 with the payment delayed for the first week. The free trial is so that you can decide to keep it or cancel it before the billing cycle starts. Since there was some obvious confusion around this, we have also issued a full refund for the subscription.

We hope this clears any frustration around this matter!

Company sold us a product that we understood to be $20...ended up being charged over $100 to our credit card. customer service will NOT respond.
My girlfriend and I recently purchased a product from FIXD via a Facebook post claiming their reader communicated with the computer in your vehicle and would display diagnotic information as well as any issues with the vehicle. We used the item in a vehicle with known issues. It said nothing was wrong. It did NOT display realtime diagnostics, nor was there any tutorial explaining how to operate the app associated with the product. I would have been happy to call that a $20 lesson.....however the company charged my girlfriends credit card over $100 for what? We are unsure of as their customer service refuses to answer my questions. They gave us a number to call, she called it, they claimed they would email us a shipping label so we could return the product. We never received the email. Or any refund and now they will NOT respond to any further correspondence

Desired Outcome

We would simply like a refund, and to have this company be more diligent in their correspondence. Covid 19 is not an acceptable excuse in this matter as all we are seeking is a refund and a reply.

FIXD Automotive Response • May 21, 2020

Hello! We are very sorry for the confusion. I see that we did respond with our self service portal so you could cancel the subscription and get a refund yourself as our team is very limited as a result of the global pandemic. Addtionally, I can see that your subscription was already cancelled and refunded.

Pease note that the subscription was signed up for on 4/30/2020. You agreed to pay the amount of $69.99/year after the free trial was over.

No problems with my sensor or app! Easy to install and use (make sure your bluetooth is on).

I bought a fixd 2 mos ago. I still have not recieved. At check out asked me if I wanted subscription which I declined. My credit card was then charged an extra $101. Not sure why cause the company has no number to call just email that no one has responded to. I tried even sending through facebok messenger. Still so response. I want my money back. At no time did they state they would be charging my credit card again. I contacted my credit card company and they informed me with my card on file they can basically do what they want. This is ridiculous. I wont stop til I get my money Back. When I do recieve this item I will be returning

Requesting a return Label to send back merchandise to Fixd Automotive
My complaint is:
I ordered #GO-XXXXXXX-FIXD, Buy two Vizr Heads Up and get one free plus one Fixd device deal for $114.97. I ordered it on 4/18/2020 and received it on 4/24/2020. The day we received it, my husband tried using it on our car. He wasn't satisfied with the Vizr Heads Up device or the Hub app that was recommended to use with it. The Fixd device was okay, but to get all the information about our car, we had to have a subscription for that, which was another $$69.99 a year, so my husband said it's not worth all that and we wanted to return the whole deal for a refund.
I sent a email to Fixd the same day I received the order 4/24/2020 requesting a return Label, all I got back was a email saying they received my request. I sent another email on 4/28 and 4/30, same response.
I would like for them to let me know when I can receive a return Label, so I can get my refund of $114.97 within the 30day return policy. Is there any way I can speak to a person about my complaint.

Desired Outcome

$114.97 was debited from my checking account.I want my money back

There is no way to get ahold of this company by phone. Or by mail. I was given bogus information with a bogus product.
VIZR Heads up Display. This device is supposed to reflect from your phone onto your windshield directions, phone numbers, addresses Etc. The idea is it safer to look straight ahead into the windshield at the information to get to your destination then good look down onto your phone except the software that you supposed to download is not available so you cannot use this device. And they give you no way of calling them or returning the item. It is a total scam. I do not have any answers. After reading the comments, I guess I'm not the only one.

Desired Outcome

I would like to know how to return it and get my money back and why they did not give me directions on how to load correct software so that this device will work. I don't understand how a company can so dishonest to their customers. I wish I knew how to send this back and get a refund.

FIXD Automotive Response • Apr 30, 2020

Hello! I am sorry for the delays in responding to your email. I saw that you contacted us yesterday, and I made sure that someone has reached out.

Unfortunately, there seems to be some misunderstanding on what the product is supposed to do, as a number of things you mentioned are not available features, and they are not mentioned on our ads. The product is supposed to reflect your phone as it displays directions. Only certain apps are available, and none of the apps will display it on your windshield as that is not how the product works.

Additionally, your email says you cannot download a "manual" on your phone so you can't use it. There are no manuals to download. You will need to download an app. If you have any questions on how to download an app, or information on how apps function on your phone, please contact either Apple or Google support.

Ordered a FIXD unit on Apr 12.
Notified them on Apr 23, via their survey, that unit not received.
On Apr 26, they charged cc for 4 more units
Issue fully described above. They have not returned email messages or phone calls. I was on them within an hour of their charging my card a second time on Sunday Apr 26 around 9 am.

Desired Outcome

Refund of charges for original unit not received. Refund of charges for items not ordered.

FIXD Automotive Response • Apr 28, 2020

Hello! Please check your email. I personally reached out to you yesterday explaining the issue. A full refund was issued for the device that was not delivered and for the subscription that you signed up for.

Note: we did not charge you for additional sensors. That charge was issued because the free trial for the subscription ended. Since you never were able to use it, that was refunded as mentioned above.

Customer Response • Apr 28, 2020

Bought two units, used as directed, will not turn off warnings after repair, misses codes, not a product as advertised. Got annual program by mistake, paid through "Apple", who would not reverse charge, contacted FIXD direct who promised fee reversal but did not. Now I want to make sure I'm not billed again automatically at year end. Impossible to contact them again. Well, here is my review - less than one star, does not work as advertised, uncooperative on cancellation terms, save your money and do not buy this product, much better and cheaper ones available.

I ordered 3 items at a discount price of 39.33 each. The regular price is 59.99 each. When my order was confirmed, it showed only two items for 44.25 each. Within 10 minutes of my confirmation, I emailed their support department and told them that I thought I ordered 3 but my confirmation showed only 2, and "How can I correct my order and still get the discounted price?". A couple hours later, Brian responded asking me to confirm that I wanted one more item at 59.00. I immediately responded that I wanted three and if I can't get the third item at the advertised price, I wanted to cancel the order. I knew it was a scam as soon as he quoted the item at 59.00. He replied with the explanation that on the app is the discounted price, but on the website it is the regular price... as if I was lying for WHATEVER reason, and then told me that he couldn't cancel my order before it was shipped. He then offered a 15% discount if I keep the order, but also said he'd be happy to send me a return label if that was what I wanted. I thought 'if he can give me a discount on a closed transaction, why couldn't/wouldn't he just adjust the price of a third item with the price AS ADVERTISED?'. I replied with the explanation that if I didn't get 3, a family member would be left out, and I suspected it was a scam. Think about it; you click on the 'quantity 3' button and it is set up to register 'quantity 2'... most people wouldn't notice the discrepancy and wouldn't find out until they received the product. By then it's too late to dispute it so not only are you paying more per item (44.25 each, as opposed to 39.33), but if you choose to get the quantity you wanted, you pay regular price (59.00) for the 3rd one. I would have no motive to lie about what my intentions were, so the only conclusion I could deduce is that they are counting on the customer not realizing what actually happened. He replied that he would send me a return label and explained how to go through the procedure of requesting it (online). Attached to his email was a link for the request and a link to complete a survey. I replied that some people would think that this conversation was, pretty much, evidence of their scam and I would certainly get the word out. I also told him I would definitely complete the survey. So I clicked on the link for the survey and, sure enough, it told me "You have already completed this survey"... just more scam. I have not requested a return label yet, but if it goes sour, you can bet you'll hear from me again.

They refuse to offer a refund on an item that was not listed as discontinued or a sale item.
When I ordered the VIZR product, no where did it reference this as a discontinued or sale item. It also did not show any kind of discounted price, just the $39.99 price. When I shipped the product back, they refused to issue a refund. This was bought in March, so not holiday sale. I also did the RMA way before the 30-day limit.

I have screen shots of their website and nothing about a sale.

Desired Outcome

I just want a refund of the $39.99 I paid for the item.

FIXD Automotive Response • Apr 15, 2020

Hello,
While we do clearly state on the buy page for the product and on all of our support documentation that there are no refunds for this product, we have made an exception and issued a refund for this order.

Customer Response • Apr 17, 2020

FIXD Automotive finally sent me a refund for the device in question. I Do't know if they did it after the complaint was filed or not, but either way, FIXD lived up to their agreement.

My Order # GO-XXXXXXXX-FIXD VIZR, Heads Up Display $47.98, arrived on 12 April 2020.
As a disabled Viet Nam Vet I found the order was not in my physical ability to install properly, compatible with my cell phone set up and the cost could be better used elsewhere. This is based on three hours of trying to make it work with Essential Tremors in my hands. I just cannot justify the purchase cost and my usage would be extremely minimal. I emailed (FIXD) Brian *** the same evening and outlined my problem requesting authorization to return for refund. Brian informed me product was part of their Clearance Sale, not for refund. I did not see this annotated on the order form when I ordered and was not expected from any reputable company. Never happened before. Please consider a full refund.

Desired Outcome

Authorization to return the product for full refund of $47.98.

FIXD Automotive Response • Apr 15, 2020

Hello,
While we are not offering refunds for the item at this time, I have made and exemption in this case and issued a refund for the product.

For clarification, we do state our no refund policy on this product in various locations including the buy page and all help documentation that references our returns policies.

I appreciate both the Revdex.com and the responding business for understanding my situation and also that the business made an exception and refunded my purchase price. This my first and only complaint filed with the Revdex.com and my refund is already back in my banking account, only two days. Needless to say I am a happy camper. Thank You to the Revdex.com and also the business!
