I ordered a sweatshirt 3/22.nevertecuved my itemSent multiple emails with no responseI tried to comment on Instagram and noticed a bunch of other comments with the same issueThey have now blocked me and many other people from their Instagram to avoid the commentsSo shady! And I never received my shirt :(

My experience with Folk Magazine over the last few weeks has been awfulI’ve never experienced anything like thisIt was just one issue or one mistakeIt was everything that could possibly go wrong when making a purchase online, went wrong, almost as if they were deliberately trying to create a disasterTo make things even worse, right when I had thought they had redeemed themselves by acknowledging the issues and outlining a plan to address before our agreed upon deadline (all orders and all products delivered by Christmas), the orders delivered in the 2days leading up to Christmas were wrong or didn't arrive at allOver a three week period I have been lied to, given information, only had 1-in-emails responded to, received many items I did not order (positioned as extras for all of my troubles), received items that were the wrong size, the wrong color, items that did not look like what had been advertised, poor quality items, and some items/side orders just did not arrive at allIt is amazing these guys are still in business after reading their Revdex.com profile, other online statements, and experiencing all of these complaints first handThey have no phone number nor do will they call you when requestedThey post on their Social Media accounts frequently, but don't have the time to respond back to escalated customer issuesThe icing on the cake is the editor/owner Ben Awas just as much a part of this as the person(s) responding on the other end of the multiple email addresses they haveHe only responded to a couple mails and when he finally took some action near the end, everything he promised was not delivered uponIt feels like some type of Ponzi schemeThey collect your money immediately which is weirdUsually companies collect when items are shippedThey hold your money for long periods of time, advertise deep discounted sales to drive more money in, but deliver items after months or some not at allTo summarize, don’t buy from these guysIf you do, document everything, purchase via PayPal and use your Credit Card instead of your bank account within Paypal so you have places to escalate toHonestly though, the quality of most items I’ve received is pure ***
I placed 1st order on 11/After a week or so I contacted them requesting an updateIt took a few days and few more emails for them to respondOn Friday the 9th I was told they’d been dealing with server issues which is why there was a delay in their responseI was told they had just spoken with the post office and my order was shipping out the next dayI was leaving town for the holidays on Friday the 16th and asked if it would arrive to my Home/Seattle address by Thurs 15th as my order was Xmas presentsI was told it should arrive by Tues the 13th, Thurs at the latestI also placed a couple more orders on the 10th, to be delivered to my holiday/Arkansas addressI was provided a Tracking Number that did not work for my 1st order but it did not workI needed to make a change to one of the orders and emailed them later in the day on the 10thThey confirmed receipt, and provided instructions on how to place order for free shipping so they would include additional items in one of the orders I had placed earlier in the dayMy first order never arrived on Tuesday, or Thursday, nor did the tracking number ever updateI emailed them many many times with no responseThey send these shipping confirmation emails but they don’t actually say your orders have shipped, there is no tracking number, etcI replied directly to these, I sent messages to their social media accounts, Ben’s social media accountsWhen they finally responded days later, they had what appeared to be everything sorted outThey gave me tracking numbers for my orders and committed to having all of them delivered by ChristmasUnfortunately this email was a big lieOnly of the tracking numbers showed a package had been dropped off at the USPSOne number said it had been in pre-shipment status for 5-days, meaning they created the label 5-days ago but it had not been dropped off at USPS yetThe other tracking number was the same one they gave me on 12/which didn’t work! If you remember, on the 9th they said my 1st order was at post office, now they’re saying they dropped it off at post office again? LIEI sent mail inquiring about issues and they responded they had been on the phone with the post office all morning trying to figure out why the packages weren’t showing upLIEI called the local post office and they confirmed packages had not been dropped off as they would have been scanned at the window immediatelyThey said the tracking number not working was missing a number but there weren’t any pre-shipment labels with numbers close to that numberI emailed company and called them outWhen they finally responded they sent new USPS tracking numbers for my 1st order and for my 2nd order (3rd was already on its way)At this point I thought everything was fixed but I was wrongThe first order arrived and the items were correct, with the exception of the shirt colorI don’t remember seeing the color being advertised as ivory but maybe it was (no longer on site)Then I received the side order I had requested they add to one of the last orders (jars of honey, cologne, and sets of towels)The honey arrived and he threw in an extra cologne, but only one towel set was deliveredThe towel set wasn’t even the color they advertised and looks like a towel set you pick up at ***Granted, they said they threw the towels in for free, but still, only set and wasn’t the product advertisedI got an email from Ben on 12/letting me know they accidentally sent the wrong size to of my sweatshirts but he just overnighted more sweatshirts to fix the issueThese were supposed to be delivered on 12/…they weren’t and still haven’t as of the 27thAnother order arrived on 12/out of the items were correct, the other were the sweatshirts referred to in Ben’s emailOnly sweatshirt had been delivered and it was the wrong color, wrong design, and wrong sizeMy final order arrived, the one I originally ordered in November, and EVERYTHING was wrongThe sweatshirt was the wrong size and part of the design had been scratched offI didn’t not receive the long-sleeve shirt ordered, but instead an ugly L t-shirt I didn’t order and a large sweatshirt I didn’t orderI ordered a green license plate, but instead received an orange one and a red oneThey added a patch and a magazine which I didn’t orderIn summary, across all orders only ½ of my items were delivered correctly or at allI still have outstanding items that were supposed to be delivered days agoI don’t have a response on what they plan to do to fix*** ***

I ordered a "Yosemite" sweatshirt from Folk on Jan10, for $40, because of a promotion they were running - buy a sweatshirt for $40, receive $in store creditSounds great, right?! I received the store credit code a couple of days later, but it didn't work, so I emailed Folk, but did not receive a replyI commented on a photo in their Instagram account (@folkmagazine) and was told to contact a different email account, so I didI received a reply, but after awhile, got frustrated because the codes they were proving for credit on their site were still not working, so I asked for the order to be cancelledThey replied and offered to add the item I wanted (a $"FOLK" t-shirt) to my orderA few days later, I still had not received tracking, but found on their site they were supposed to ship orders Jan20, due to the amount of recent orders receivedThe 20th comes and goes, and I still don't have a tracking number or any sort of confirmation my order has shipped, so I contacted the company again via email to ask for tracking and was told they would contact the office, but was pretty sure they remembered my orderNever heard backNow, all of my comments are getting deleted from Instagram, and they have blocked me from their accountThere are several other people I have reached out to that also haven't received their orders eitherCoincidentally (or not), Folk was posting pictures that they were on a trip to LA recentlyMust be nice using all that money on a vacation instead of shipping orders

I bought a Smokey Bear Sweatshirt on March and yet I have not receivedI have no sweatshirt, neither an explanation nor returned the money

I placed two orders in March (total of items and $50)After emails sent to them they said they would be "shipped next week"Waited a month and nothingAfter sending two more emails I got the Sam response of shipping next weekIt has now been almost months and nothingAsked for my money back and no responseFor what they claim to be, this really reflects poorly on themI still would love to have my product or a refundPlease no one else give them money!

I ordered two t shirts from them April 4th and I have yet to receive themThey told me that it came back because address was wrong which I looked on my email and it was correct shopping address to my businessThen I have then my home address and after weeks waiting the told me I never sent the addres but it was a trail of emails and in his response my shipping address was on the reply lolTheir such fraudsHow can we shut them down? Imagine the hundreds of people that they're scamming in getting the money from and never shipping anything ?? This has to stop! It's been over two months and nothingNow there not responding to my emails#Folkmagazine #Scammers #BadKarma

The company did eventually send the product that I ordered, but it was not in the color that I orderedIt took over a month to receive it, after repeated calls and emails with the companyAfter filing a Revdex.com complaint, it took the company almost a year and a half to respond that they would refund my purchase?! Offering a refund after a year and a half for a tahirt is not a reasonable responseI want nothing else to do with this company.

I was so excited to have ordered my merchandise but the excitement quickly faded when I realized I had probably paid for his trip to Los Angeles rather than my merchandiseFolk is a scam and I will never recommend someone buy from them or follow them on their many social media accountsI have emailed upwards of times since I ordered three weeks ago and have not been responded toI will be seeking to get a refund
