Our office called Ms***’s number once on 09/20/which she answered and asked us not to call her anymoreThereafter, her number was removed from this account in our office and was never called againIn regards to calling times in hour there may be other offices calling Ms
***’s number. Our office also want not trying to gain information about *** *** we were simply just trying to get a messages passed to her from our office to locate *** ***. Regarding the manner in which Ms*** was spoken too I will forward this over to the office manager to listen to the call and reprimand the employee appropriatelyMs*** ***’s number was removed from this file and she will not be receiving another call from our office

Any phone calls made to Ms*** or Ms***’s relatives were for skip tracing purposesMs*** stated she doesn’t owe any money, however this is for a legitimate debt from *** & *** and Ms*** is welcome to call our client and verify the validity of the debtThis account has
been closed in our office and our office will not be calling Ms*** again

*** *** was contacted by our office, agreed to pay and set up a payment arrangement on a recorded line all on 04/22/He then called back into our office on 04/25/and stated he called *** *** Bank and they said they have no accounts with his nameHe talked to MrMwho
explained to him that the bank was the original creditor and since this account defaulted a company named *** *** Group, who is our client, bought the debt so that is who he would need to contactMr*** then asked for the contract to be sent to his email address which it was on 04/25/This contract included everything included what was bought, the original creditor, and the original payment planMrMnever spoke to Mr*** in a hostile manner he was shown respect and we provided him with everything he asked forAs per the $we have a signed DocuSign that shows that he authorized the payment as well as him on a recorded line authorizingHis account has since been closed there was also no other money taken on this account other than the $There also has been no calls made since 05/03/

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
*** ***

Ms*** is paying off a *** Jewelers account, a legitimate verifiable debt that is currently in our officeWhen Ms*** first set up payment arrangements she was asked to provide an email to which receipts would be sent every time a payment ran, she refusedAfter which our
representative made Ms*** aware that we were not able to send each receipt in the mail, however we would be sending out something stating the payment arrangement that she would need to sign and send back and there would be a copy for her to keep so she would know when her payments would be processedAt no point was Ms*** verbally threatened although she was made aware of the options our client could pursue if she did not take care of this account voluntarilyMs*** was never threatened physically that statement is completely fabricated and did not happenThis account has been closed in our office however money is still owed to our client; Ms*** can call us to set up an arrangement but will not be contacted by our office again

Today 5-5-I received another call from MrKI told him that according to my records everything was paid and he said it was notI asked him to mail it to me in writing and please do not call my work againHe said don't worry I know your work fax number and I will send it right over to them
While I was asking him to mail it to me and not fax my work he hung up the phoneThis has to be unlawful behaviorI am in the process of sending the company a letter asking them to NOT contact me at work by phone, mail of faxAny communication needs to come through my home address, or email address or personal phoneIs there ANYTHING you can do to help me? *** ** Today 5-5-I received another call from MrKI told him that according to my records everything was paid and he said it was notI asked him to mail it to me in writing and please do not call my work againHe said don't worry I know your work fax number and I will send it right over to themWhile I was asking him to mail it to me and not fax my work he hung up the phoneThis has to be unlawful behaviorI am in the process of sending the company a letter asking them to NOT contact me at work by phone, mail of faxAny communication needs to come through my home address, or email address or personal phoneIs there ANYTHING you can do to help me? *** *** No more contact at my employerDo not call my employer, do not fax my employer and do not send anything by mail to my employer

My mother was threatened by this company, my brother's wife insists this bill is paid I want my money refunded and NO further contact from this company

Again there were never any threats of warrants or arrest being put out on *** ***, she was however made aware of the rights that our client had in regards to suing accountsAs it states right on the Revdex.com page “Businesses are under no obligation to seek Revdex.com accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought Revdex.com accreditation.” Therefore, the fact that Foster and Monroe is not accredited with the Revdex.com has no effect on whether or not we are a legitimate companyThe only reason there was another voicemail left on Ms***’s phone is because she called into our office two separate times on 09/29/stating that she made a mistake and that she found out we were not a scamMrMdid not threaten legal action he simply told her that if she did not contact back he was going to forward her account back to our client as a refuse to pay and they could in fact pursue further action if they so choseMs*** can go through the chain of command and get back to our office however; she will not be receiving a call from our office againSincerely, Shelby C

I just want this matter resolved as soon as possible. I have never received any documentation. I received telephone calls all in one day about this matter and I did not appreciate the representative telling me that the company could stop me from getting my monthly disability payments. I do not do business with anyone that tells me the company has the right to stop my disability payments which is my livelihood. Thank you *** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***I was contacted, by phone, yesterday afternoon and feel that the company is trying to work toward an amicable conclusion to this debtAs soon as we receive a paper copy of the debt, we will recontact them to work toward eradicating the debtAs it appears to be an honest debt, incurred by our son I still feel this company began their contact with our family in a nefarious mannerThe supervisor/manager of the company contacted us and said that they will deal with the person who originally contacted us, "internally"I do think the company should refer to the Federal Trade Commission rules and standards for debt collection, and advise consumers to do the sameI appreciate the Revdex.com being an available resource to help mediateAnd I look forward to a more positive relationship with the collection company

I have attached the contract that is attached to this account in our office and I blacked out all the personal information In the contract that was signed by the debtor *** ***, who is the ‘brother’s wife’ in this complaint, states “Seller/Creditor may use all legal rights of enforcement
including its right to repossess the property”This means that our client has the legal right to repossess the dog that was financed in the contractHowever, there was no threat made at any point, our associate was just stating what could happen if *** *** did not pay her accountAlso, *** *** was first spoken to on 07/06/where she set up a payment with our office, which defaultedThere was a call placed on 07/15/after the payment had already defaulted again, which is the only reason that a payment was requested immediatelyIncluded in the contract was a routing and account number, which is blacked out, that was provided in order to process the payment agreed uponThe company that was supposed to process those payments was *** Payment Solutions located in *** and *** *** is located in ***, therefore when the payment declined it was considered bouncing a checkThere were no threats made at any point in time, Ms*** was simply made aware of the possible ramifications if she chose not to take care of this debt

Our office is in direct contact with the consumer and are hoping to handle this complaint directly with them

There were never any threats made to Mr*** *** from our office although MrMichael Adid make Mr*** aware of the legal rights our client had that they could choose to proceed with if there was no payment made on this accountMr*** was very rude when he spoke to our office; he was
not saying he wanted to pay his debt to our office he was insisting that he had already paid this accountOur employee, MrMichael Atold him that according to our client this account was never paid and that we did in fact have the contract with Mr***’s signature showing that he had in fact financed the purchase he made at *** Tire ProsWe even sent him the contract and a letter from our office offering to settle this account to the email he provided ***@***.com which is the same email he provided to the Revdex.com as wellOnce he received that in his email he contacted our office back and stated that he had to do the payment plan on the full balance which MrMichael Asaid was fine however our clients do want something up front to show that Mr*** was going to handle this accountAt first Mr*** said that was fine that he was going to pay $that day then set up the payment plan that our client had previously agreed to he just needed to get his bank information and call back in with it to run the paymentLater that same day Mr*** *** called back into the office and started to make demands and be extremely rude to MrMichael AMrMichael Ainformed Mr*** that we had provided him with all the information that he needed, however Mr*** did not ask for any more information he was just refusing to pay this account offAt no point after this call did Mr*** receive a call from MrMichael Aor anyone else from our officeAt no point during any conversation did MrMichael Ademand anything from Mr*** or say that Mr*** had to pay the settlement amount that dayThis account has been closed in our office and returned to our client as a direct refusal to payWe are a legitimate collection agency collecting on a legit debt

Revdex.com spoke to Joseph at business and the following was relayed: Contact was made to one individual on August 3rdThe debtor was never talked toThis is a ** *** account that was opened in and paid on up until *** *** is the co-signer and legally responsible for debt if she does not
payIt was sent back to the owner of the debt on August 4th as it is going to legal

*** ***’s account was only worked two times by our office, and there were only messages left on each number once therefore, Ms*** must have multiple collection agencies calling herAlso, when Ms*** was contacted directly by our office she did not ask for any numbers to be removed or
not contacted, so our company had no way of knowing what number was best to get in contact with herWe have the contract signed by Ms*** in regards to this account that is in our office, if we were not a legitimate company there would be no way for us to access that contractWe also sent that contract to Ms***’s email address when she requested it along with a letter on our company’s letter head which againI would also like to note that in the contract Ms*** signed, it included a line that stated she gave *** Financing along with any affiliates the right to pull her credit reportIf she had indeed contacted the original creditor, in this case *** Financing, they would have forwarded her to *** *** *** who would have then pointed her back to our company, Foster and MonroeWhen Ms*** was spoken to we did not threaten her with any legal action we told her that our client reserves the right to sue at any point in order to collect the past due moneyWe also made it clear to her that we are in fact a collection agency and not a law firm, therefore, we could not provide an address for a law firm but we did provide our mailing address to Ms*** when we were asked for itThere is no person at our office named Wayne L., or anyone who called and stated they were from the *** County Sheriff OfficeAs stated earlier, we are a collection agency and if this account would be sued, it would not be through us, it would be through our client so we would not need to “serve her with legal papers about a case filed against her”Again as stated earlier, Ms*** probably had multiple collection agencies calling her because the first time this account was worked was 06/08/16, then it was worked 06/16/at which point Ms*** was contacted and made aware of this debtMs*** already knew about this account and acknowledged the fact that she signed the contract and was responsibleNothing Foster and Monroe as a company did was illegal, we followed the law clearly provided an original contract and a letter on our letterhead when it was requestedThis account was only called by our office on two separate dates and there was no harassment or other illegal activity in any way from our officeFoster and Monroe was never told to remove any numbers however, if Ms***’s grandmother was contacted it was once A message was left at that point in time and her grandmother was actually spoken to let alone harassedHowever, Foster and Monroe has closed this account in our office and returned it to our office as uncollectableThere will be no more calls made on this account from our office

The complaint assigned ID *** from Mr*** *** has been resolved with Mr*** by Foster and MonroeIf you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact our office at ###-###-####Thank youSincerely, Shelby C

Revdex.com spoke to Joe at the business and the following was relayed: This individual called on behalf of her son, *** ***On 1/the debtor's mom called in and stated she would tell the debtor usOn the 28th the complainant called in againWe were unable to discuss with herConsumer did call in
and he stated that he had an attorneyHe did acknowledge the debt and requested we send a media letter and balance letter, which both were sent to himWe advised him to have his attorney contact us to discuss the debtHis mother called in againHe has not been called since January 28th

*** *** *** was being called by our office regarding a legitimate debt she owed to *** *** LLCMs*** was not threatened she was however made aware of the rights our client could pursue if they deemed necessaryMs*** also was told that she would need to hire an
attorney to prove she did not owe the money if the client chose to pursue this accountMs*** ex-husband was called because our office was unable to make direct contact with her, therefore we called relatives in an attempt to locate herThe funds were deposited into a *** *** Bank account ending in *** when this account was taken outMs*** payment was refunded for $on 10/19/when our office received this accountIt has also been closed and returned to our client as a direct refusal to payMs*** will not be receiving any more call from our office

*** *** has four separate accounts in our office which she was made aware of when she was first spoken toShe has one account for *** which was paid in full in our office, one for ***.com which was almost paid off, one for *** *** which has never been paid on in our office and the last one is for a *** *** card which has also never been paid on in our officeShe was spoken to on 05/03/when her active account in our office went into a default status and spoke to a MrKHe let her know that her payments had defaulted, she told him she was at work and she would call in later with new card informationWhen she didn’t call he called her back on 05/05/she then asked him to email her a letter showing what she had already paid because she thought it was paidA letter was emailed to ***.***@***.com showing what she still owed for the account she was currently paying on to which she responded that she wanted us to stop contacting her altogetherTherefore, we closed all four of her accounts and returned them to our client as a refuse to payThere have been no calls made since 05/05/At no point were there any threats or unlawful behaviorMrKwas never told that this was her work number or asked to stop calling the number until 05/05/at which point that number was removed and never contacted againThere will be no more contact to this person or any numbers associated with them from our office
