Foster and Monroe Reviews (124)

This account has been closed in our office and returned to our client as a direct refuse to pay for them to proceed with as they see fit. Ms. [redacted] will not be contacted by our office again.

The number ###-###-#### has only been called by our office a total of 3 times within the past month, he has never actually spoken to our office. Mr. M. may be getting calls from several agencies as he has never asked our office to not contact him. His number has been removed from this account...

and our office will not contact him regarding this again.

business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I disagree with Joe from the company. Don't know if he reviewed tape however I was never provided validation being I still have no idea what claim is about. Only spoke to L[redacted] the one time. No messages or mail to date. They did not contact only me I was given L[redacted]s number and info he provided my dad and his wife. And he contacted them a second time though I cannot say for sure it was after he called me directly. Not only is the company response inaccurate I believe they are withholding the truth purposefully.
Regards,

Revdex.com spoke to Joe at business and the business sent Revdex.com copy of debt validation letter originally sent to consumer. See attached.

There were never any threats made to Mr. [redacted] at any point, again he was just being made aware of what the client could legally proceed with. Mr. Michael A. never said he was going to sue Mr. [redacted] he was telling him that our client wanted an answer as to whether this was going to be taken care of voluntarily by the close of business that day so they could figure out how to proceed with this account. Again we are a legitimate collection agency collecting on a legit debt and he is welcome to call our client to validate.

Revdex.com spoke to Joe at business and the following was relayed: The customer was called on 1/13, never talked to. No calls have been made since 1/13.

[redacted] was called by our office for a legitimate debt that he owes to [redacted] Credit Services, LLC. There was a letter sent previously to the mailing address that was listed on the contract, which was returned as undeliverable. There was a new letter mailed to the address of [redacted]...

[redacted], KS [redacted] included the contract that is also attached to this response. When our office could not reach Mr. [redacted] directly we attempted to reach out to relatives to try to locate Mr. [redacted], which is why family members were called. Our office called the numbers only once, and messages were left. The representative that made outbound calls for our office left messages on all the numbers that she could, there were some that had their mailboxes full or not set up in which case she could not leave a message. As we were unaware if those messages were reaching the correct parties we continued to call other numbers. This is in no way harassment. Ms. [redacted]’s wife was called as we were attempting to locate [redacted], and still did not have contact with him. She was called at her place of employment as she could speak on her husband’s behalf as well and make sure he got a message to call our office to explain to him the account that is currently in our office. Our office was also not aware that the number called was for a place of employment. This, again, is in no way harassment, and had Erin [redacted] asked our office not to contact her place of employment we would have taken that number off the case and never called again. This is for a legitimate debt [redacted] owes to [redacted] Credit Services, LLC. For any other questions or concerns or to take care of this debt they can reach our office at ###-###-####.

Unfortunately Mr. [redacted] cannot pay this debt through the original company as they no longer have ownership of this debt. Our company owns this debt and we can provide the original contract that Mr. [redacted] signed when he took this account out through [redacted]. There was not threat of...

legal action being taken against Mr. [redacted], he was made aware of the action that could be taken against him if he did not make voluntary restitution for this account. If Mr. [redacted] would like a copy of the contract or to take care of this account he can contact our office.

The response is an absolute lie. I literally have a voice message and spoke with a paralegal who refused to give me his name but acknowledged he was from that office.

Revdex.com spoke to Joe at business and the following was relayed:The debt is from June 30, 2011. Consumer took out a loan from Gaines Furniture and paid for 1 1/2 years. On January 7th we skip-traced and left a few messages on 3 numbers, 2 which were listed by the consumer on the application. Later on a...

woman called in from a blocked number. Following that, the debtor called in screaming that we disclosed personal information. We did not which we offered to provide the consumer the recording. No other contact was made until 1/29 when the consumer called in and claimed that the bill had been paid. Account was never called by us after January 7th. The account is owned by us and is still an open and active account which we are not calling on.

Revdex.com spoke to Joe at business and the following was relayed: The consumer was provided validation of the debt. The only contact we have had was with debtor. The account was closed on 4/29 and sent back to our client on 5/8/15.

Revdex.com spoke to consumer who stated she spoke to Jason at business. Revdex.com informed consumer that complaints can not be retracted and a business cannot resolve a complaint in exchange for the retraction of a complaint.

proceeded to contact him via phone. At no point was Mr. [redacted] threatened, he was however made aware of the options available if he chose not to set up payment arrangements with our office. Mr. [redacted] was offered a payment arrangement with our office when he spoke with a representative, however, he did not set up the arrangement. For any other questions or concerns or to take care of this debt he can reach our office at ###-###-####.

I find it incredible hard to believe they can't find this person as I've been making payments to this company by mail for 3 months as well as contacting them at the number I provided. They are lying.

[redacted] was contacted by our office on 11/03/17 regarding a legitimate debt that is currently in our office. At no point was Ms. [redacted] threatened in any way or state that this account was previously paid. Had she told our office it was previously paid and/or provided proof to our office,...

we would have closed this account. Ms. [redacted] was never asked for personal information by our office, we did verify her date of birth and last four of her social security, but we stated them to her and had her verify it is the correct information. At no point did our office give personal information to any person or other entity. Ms. [redacted] was made aware of our client’s rights that they could pursue, however she was not threatened with them at any time. The payment Ms. [redacted] made our office was going towards paying off the valid debt account in our office, however it has been refunded. This account has been returned to our client as a refusal to pay and she will not be called in regards to this account by our office.

Revdex.com spoke to Joe K. at business and the following was relayed: The complainant was a monthly payer and is aware of the bill. The account is a [redacted]'s account which was opened up in September of 2013. The customer paid until April 2015. The account was forwarded to us from [redacted]...

Group, the owner of the account, and they placed it with us in November. A settlement was offered and she accepted. The customer can confirm with [redacted] Group ([redacted]) to verify, ###-###-####.

We did attempt to contact Ms. [redacted] regarding a debt in our office, we were unable tp reach her so we attempted skip tracing efforts, which is within our legal right to obtain location information or contact with the debtor. There was no personal information released to anyone in regards to Ms....

[redacted]’s account in our office therefore no laws were violated. To date we still have not spoken with Ms. [redacted] regarding the account in our office. Future conversations will be dealt with through mail, this account will not be called by our office again.

As formerly stated there were no threats made to anyone from our office, our representative simply told them what actions could be taken if [redacted] chose to not pay this account that was past due. I   have previously attached the contract signed as well as sent it to Mr. [redacted]. This was a verifiable debt in our office that was being collected on by a legitimate company. As stated previously, this account has been completely refunded, closed and returned to our client as a refusal to proceed with accordingly. Ms. [redacted] and her family will not be called by our office again. Sincerely, Shelby C.

Revdex.com spoke to Joe at business and the following was relayed: This account was for [redacted] Transmission car repairs. On 1/28 the Documents requested were emailed to consumer. On 1/28, we spoke to the consumer's mother for the last time, we did offer to play the recording for her and she hung up on us. We own the account, it will not be resold and they will not be contacted again.

Revdex.com received a message from Jason at business that business: She wants a paid letter from our company. I told her I would wipe the rest of her arrangements on file or what not as long as the complaint she put in to the Revdex.com was terminated, because it was a misunderstanding.
