Review: Prefer to get my money back if it is to expect that order as I am hoping

Review: December *, 2015 I placed and order.

December *, 2015 the recipient received and email saying the order was on HOLD. Because the shipping and billing address were different as my order was being sent as a gift an email address was only asked for in the shipping information and not the billing.

December *, 2015 I had the recipient forward the HOLD email notice to me so I could take care of the situation. After receiving the forwarded email, the email stated they couldn't process my order because I needed to get a 6 digit authorization code from my credit card company, which is a temporary code that credit card company gives the merchant.

After reading the email I got in contact with my bank the credit card was issued from and explained to them what I needed, they never have been asked for a authorization code. So after about an hour on the phone with my bank and speaking with 4 different agents, I read the email to them and the last agent I spoke with says that when FragranceX sends the order to their billing to be processed they will have a 6 digit code and will contact the credit card company to verify for approval, and that I (the customer) shouldn't have to call the credit card company. My bank warned me to be very careful because something just didn't seem right.

December **, 2015 I call the toll free number for customer service. I spoke with Lihah very nice lady and of course took my frustration out on her. I explained to her that:

1) the billing email address should be asked for not the shipping

email address.

2) the person that placed the order and that is being billed, should

be the person contacted if there are any question or issues with

the billing, not the recipient.

Then Lihah said that my order has been canceled. At that point I was really upset. I stated that I was going to file a complaint with the BETTER BUSINESS BEARU and that I am going to also call the State Business Licensing Board. I asked her if our call was being recorded. She said all calls are recorded, I said good because this was not a threat it is a promise. Following through on the promise, this complaint is being filed.

Review: I live in Brazil and bought a perfume on March **, 2013 in online store FragranceX. They assured me the following about the delivery:

"Worldwide Standard Shipping (We ship worldwide, select your country at checkout)

Arrives in 4-12 business days and most have tracking.

Shop with confidence, we offer a 30 day money back guarantee. "

However, it's been three months and the perfume has not arrived.

I sent two emails asking for refund and I received the same automated response asking for be patient.

I'm moving from brazil soon, and I can't more receive the product at the old address.

I trusted in the fragrancex's delivery time and that why I bought the perfume, because I trusted it would arrive on time, even a few days later.

Now, after three months, I have no interest in receiving it anymore and I want my money back. I was really disappointed with the store and I want a refund.

Here in Brazil, when an order is stuck at customs, they send an email to the recipient notifying that your order has been taxed and stating the place where he should go to rescue the order. So far I have not received any email, so I haven't way of knowing where my order is to go search it. Besides, I can't seek an order without tracking number, the Brazilians post office require it.

And, sorry, but I do not understand about this part: "I've refunded your card as a courtesy". What card? You repaid me?

Review: Fragrancex advertises the below regarding their shipping:

Ships via DHL or USPS Express for R212.36 + R14.06 per item

Arrives in 4 - 12 business days and most have tracking.

I placed an order on 26th October 2015 and was charged the above delivery fee.

After not receiving my order by 5 Nov 2015, I inquired as to the status of my delivery and I was advised that the package was sent via standard postal service and that there was no way of tracking the delivery.

It has now been 20 working days since my order was dispatched and I still haven't received my order.

It is unacceptable that they advertise and charge for a shipping method that is not in fact used and has resulted in non-delivery of my purchase.

I have complained numerous times and the customer service agents simply advise that I should be patient and are unwilling to assist in resolving this issue.Desired Settlement: A full refund for the non-delivered item as well as the courier fees charged.

This seems to be the standard response on all of my complaints. I was charged for shipping via a courier service and this was not implemented as the package was sent via standard postal service 21 working days ago.if the package has not arrived by Friday [redacted] November (5 working days from now) I expect a full refund as a month is more than sufficient for delivery to take place.

Of this amount, $15.97 was for Worldwide International Shipping to my friend who is currently living in Kyiv, Ukraine (7-12 Business Days). After the 14th day, I called to inquire about the lateness of the delivery. I was told "it is probably customs." I understood that and waited. By the [redacted] day, there was still no delivery. I called again and was told the same thing. I asked to speak to manager about a refund and was told there weren't any managers available by phone and I would have to e-mail their support line. The CSR encouraged me to continue waiting. It is now 01/**/2016 (more than 60+ days) and my friend still has not received the merchandise. I called today and asked about a refund and was, yet again, told it wasn't possible. Management may have changed or perhaps my U.S. location easier to ship to (Florida) but I just recvd my first purchase Perfume Gift set (Obsession for Women in 3.4, travel size, bath gel & lotion) & recvd in a week! Was in perfect original Gift Set box & well packed. Products were not old in appearance, consistency or scent. I wasnt aware they had issues in the past but I am pleased with my buy & will do so for future Gift Sets again.
