Gadget gone stole my phone
I sent my iPhone 12 Pro Max and never received payment. Can’t even find my order number. I have emailed many times. No response. My tracking number doesn’t even come up. Arizona is where the prepaid label was addressed to. I need my phone back or my payment

For order: 349212 it has been delivered but no reply from the company and no payment.. please help me :(

I got a quote for my iphone 8 plus and mailed them my phone. Two months later I still receive no payment and now my order number doesn't even pop up.
I received a quote of 60$ for my iPhone 8 plus, I mailed my old iPhone to them with their shipping label and got confirmation by text and USPS that they received it. Tracking #***. They said they will evaluate my phone and in two business days I should receive payment. Its now two months in and I have not received anything. I've left multiple voicemails with my concern. Never have I got hold of anyone or nor did they return my call. I've gone to their website and submitted email through there and nothing. I look up my order and my order number is not even working. These people just stole my phone! Either send my phone back to me or Pay me!

I want payment for my Iphone 8 as promised in my quote!

Hi there,

We did indeed email you back on July 6th after we evaluated your iPhone. You did not remove your icloud account and we needed you to do that before we could send your payment. We did not receive any response to that email, nor did we receive any other emails from you. We also did not receive any calls from you via our company phone number which is 407-289-0899. I have attached a screenshot of the email that was sent to you on July 6th. Please search your inbox for an email from [email protected] and you should see it (check your junk inbox as well).

I have spoken to our customer service manager this morning and she says she made contact with you and you were able to remove the icloud account so we will be mailing out your check today.

Sent 3 iphones devices for cash exchange? They never payed.
I have sent 3 iPhone devices which they agreed to give me the money on a*** card .
They ask for IMei info for which I thought they where just checking anyway I sent the info and I never heard back from this company. They are a fraud, thiefs they should be shut down .
I never received my phones or the money .

Desired Outcome

Either pay up or send me back my iPhone in working condition and close down

They offer,take your phone,inspect it, and claim damage. Then wont respond to emails. If it goes 2 weeks by they can send any amount the choose.

DON'T DO IT.

THEY WILL NOT RESPOND AFTER THEY INSPECT YOUR PHONE.

THEY WAIT THE 2 WEEKS AND CLAIM YOU HAVEN'T RESPONDED TO THE OFFER AND GIVE YOU WHATEVER AMOUNT THEY CHOOSE!

I sent a brand new phone I got from the factory after having a warranty replacement. Was going to give it to my niece, but she got another one.

Anyway, took a week to get my offer back and they are claiming it was "Damaged" The damage they are claiming is a software update that wasn't done recently. Nothing is wrong with the phone.

The claim was that the "Proximity Sensor" doesn't function properly. This is software related. If you would like to *** it, there are hundreds of Q&A's of how this 99% of the time is fixed by shutting off your phone and restarting it Or doing a software update. So either I'm a 1%'er or this is the SCAM.

Now I've sent at least 15 emails since asking for help.
No response.

Their policy is if they don't hear from you for 15 days after they check the phone they assume you agree to whatever price they say and send it to you.

Since they are not responding I am feeling like this is their SCAM. Since I can't contact them. They will send me whatever they want.

I WOULD STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM

Desired Outcome

I just want them to contact me and we can discuss what claims they have made. I feel now I am being scammed and just want to sell my unused factory direct phone I sent them. They can not claim damage when it is a software update or simply restarting the phone and then give less than half of what they offered without any communication.

I'd like to cancel my complaint. They since reached out and fixed the situation.

They agreed to buy my used iPhone for $75. Told me payment would be sent 1/31. It's now close of business 2/3 & I've still not been paid.
They have my old iPhone and told me they'd submit $75 payment to my *** account on 1/31. Jenna told me today that she'd get me the money today. It's now close of business (they close at 2:30 PM) and I don't have the payment. They are hard to get ahold of and don't respond to email inquiries. No phone number on their website.

Please cancel this report. They finally paid me.

iPhone 7 sent back to me is damaged (cracked horizontally on the screen).
I sent my iPhone 7 to them to purchase. When they received it they said they couldn't purchase it because it was iCloud locked. They told me to send them $5, and they would mail it back to me. When I got it, I noticed it had a crack on the screen across in the middle horizontally. It was in perfect condition when I sent it to them. I send several messages to them through their website and through emails, but the won't respond back. The phone was sent August 2, 2019. I think they're avoiding having to replace my iPhone. All I know is that I don't appreciate it, and I will never do business with them again or recommend them to anyone. I think they should replace my phone or fix the screen.

Desired Outcome

I would either like the screen repaired, money back to have the screen repaired, or a replacement iPhone 7 that works, and is in the same condition mine was when I sent it to them.

Hello ***,

We have answered all of the emails that you sent to us which you have apparently never seen. I would suggest checking your spam mail folder. I have attached screenshots of our responses to your emails.

To summarize what was mentioned in the emails, we 100% did not crack your screen. Our team takes great care when handling devices and each device we process is generally handled for less than 10 minutes on top of a desk. We also attached a photo to those emails when we found that your device was iCloud locked, and the screen is not cracked in those photos. It was placed in a bubble bag after that photo, and didn't leave the bin it was in until we shipped it back to you. We shipped the device back to you on the 4th of August and you didn't email us to let us know the screen was cracked until a month and a half after that.

In our emails we explained that the only possible scenario where the screen arrived cracked was if it was damaged while in transit. Did the box appear damaged to you? Also, please attach a photo of the cracked screen on the iPhone along with a picture of the IMEI number which can be found in settings app - general - about so we can investigate this further.

This was EASY PEASY!

I went online, and entered the information for my iPhone 7, wiped the phone, and sent it in with the prepaid label they emailed me.

I sent my phone out on a Thursday, received a text Saturday it was put into a locker, received a message Monday they were working on it, and Tuesday received another message they accepted my offer as "Flawless" for $140. The money was in my P by end of day Tuesday.

No issues, smooth, and amazing. Thank you!

Ignoring to pay to pay me. They have refused to answer my emails.
I sent in a good condition pre owned iPhone 8 and they received it on Tuesday. They responded back to me not until Wednesday about them being overbooked and receiving a lot of packages. I responded to them on Friday about the reversed quote. I told them that I would get the financed thing removed from the phone and they would pay me $201. They have since not responded to me at all or even paid me.

This customers package was delivered to our local post office on Tuesday evening, October 15th. It was picked up and checked into our system on Wednesday. That same day we received an email from the customer inquiring as to their order status, which we responded to. 2 days later on Friday October 18th their offer was evaluated. The customer responded around 4PM EST, letting us know they accepted the offer. By 4PM our team member in charge of that order had already left for the day, and their payment was sent when he got back in the office on Monday. This customers offer was processed and paid for in our advertised timeframe, and all of their emails were responded to within 1 business day.

Sent in two phones over 2 weeks ago and I have still not received the check in the mail.
I sent two iPhones to this company close to 3 weeks ago, and I got a confirmation on the 2nd of October that my payment was sent out, but I have not received it yet, and they said it would be here in 2 to 5 business days. I have recently signed up for PayPal and I would be willing to get paid through that if it means I actually get my money. I have emailed the support email provided on their website, but they have not gotten back to me.

I would like to receive my payment when it is supposed to get here, and I would also like to know why it has taken so much longer than I was told it would take. If I could switch to PayPal to receive my money, I am willing to do that.

This customer emailed us the day this complaint was opened and let us know that they hadn't yet received the check we mailed them. We found that their STE number was not included on the envelope address due to a connection error with the STE field of our database and check printing software. We took care of the situation and re-issued payment in the form of a PayPal payment per the customers request.

I sent my iPhone X Max Plus in to Gadget Gone over a month ago, They promised to send me a check for $600...They have not, I asked for tracking and they do not respond. I want my check or my phone back.

This customer let us know that they hadn't received their check and as with a previous dispute, we found that it was because the Suite#/APT# field in our database was not properly transferring that data to our check printing software. We took care of this for the customer and sent them an e-check.

Sold me an "unlocked" phone, but it is forever locked to ATT due to it being financed by the original buyer and left unpaid.
I was sold an "Unlocked iPhone X" on eBay by this company, however the phone was locked to the ATT carrier. Someone had purchased the phone on a payment plan and never paid it off. As a result, the phone isn't truly "unlocked" and can never be used on another carrier. This practice is false advertising at its finest.

I've contacted the company through eBay and have received no response. Buyer beware!

Seeking a complete and total refund for the phone for false and improper advertising. The phone was not "clean" or "new" as listed on their site.

This customer purchased an iPhone from us over 6 months ago, in January. Our advertised return policy for this transaction was 60 days. We're happy to accommodate returns for any reason (buyer's remorse or item not as described) as long as the return is requested within our advertised timeframe. We're going to make a one time exception and offer this customer an exchange. We cannot offer a full refund as this customers device has depreciated substantially since the time of purchase and is no longer in new condition as it was when they purchased. I sent my XS iPhone in and it's been over 2 weeks and I still have not been paid. Also I sent a brand new phone and they quoted me under flawless.
Sent phone in on the 28th of June it arrived on the 1st. Should of been evaluated by th 3rd it wasn't until the 5th. Should of been paid 600 by no later than the 8th. It's now about to be the 10th with no money no no word from them. The quoted me 600 for a flawless phone in which is what I sent but was said to not be and was requouted to 565.

This customers offer was evaluated on the 9th and was re-quoted to $565 because their phone was not in flawless condition as they had indicated. They were given the option of accepting this revised offer or having us send the phone back to them for free. They elected to accept our revised offer of $565 and their payment was sent the same day.

This company does the job of buying your iPhones and getting you the most cash for them. Just evaluate your iphones' conditions yourself before sending them off. To get your cash, you can choose PayPal, mail physical check, or get an e-check. I personally would choose between physical check and e-check. If anyone's got questions, don't be afraid to ask for help and just act reasonable. Before trading your eligible iPhones, check other websites first to see what they're offering. If they all offer low prices, try out GadgetGone. Tell your friends and family about GadgetGone.

NEVER PAID
I sent gadgetgone my iPhone XS Max with a quote of $560, as I marked the iPhone flawless. My ticket number is XXXXX. I have heard nothing about my payout. I've emailed asking and even emailed to let them know the iPhone was no longer connected to a service, as they bring more money that way.

I would like my full quoted payment, plus more if the iPhone shows as not connected to a plan.

We let you know on Saturday that we would have your order processed on Monday morning, which we have done. We sent you $730 because your phone was more valuable that the $560 quote you initially received.

Their website was easy to navigate. I mailed my phone to them, and within about 2 weeks, I received my money! I look forward to using them again!!

Never got an email of delivery after they updated my email address and my phone was delivered almost a week ago. I emailed and emailed but no response
I first initially got an offer for my iPhone 8 Plus 256 gb. I printed out the offer and shipped my phone. I noticed that I didn't see the confirmation in my email so I emailed them and finally after several emails the cs dept said they updated my email and would email me when phone was delivered. The phone was delivered last Wednesday and website says will be evaluated in 2 business days. My phone was flawless and not much to evaluate and it's been almost a week now. I never even got an email that it had been delivered. So either they never really updated my email address or they never sent email out. Either way I have sent numerous emails out last week and this eeek just asking the status and nobody returns my emails. I was offered $455 via my PayPal and I have heard nothing back. I am upset with this company because I have sold phones in the past to other companies and they are fast and quick to respond and pay out. I shipped my phone out 3 weeks ago . This is ridiculous! Not even a response they got my phone when tracking shows delivered and no way to call the company.

I would like to be paid my $455. My phone was flawless and I even sent it in original box with original cords. And I want my email to be updated as promised and paid as promised. I feel the longer they have the phones I am not feeling they are trust worthy. All of a sudden they will say my phone is broken too.
