Unable to get paid was told 2 business days from delivered and has been 5 days and still showing in queue to be evaluted
I sent in a iphone 8 plus that was in perfect condition and sent it the day I got my shipping label and showed that they received it on 3/11/19 and was told that I would receive my echeck within 2 business days of being received. I have emailed them and only get that it is in queue to be evaluted and I have stressed my concern that I have not gotten my money as promised. I have asked when I will received as their website shows 2 business days and that is not what they are doing.

Desired Outcome

I would to my money as promised within the days that were promised and they are not able to what they are stating then they should update their website. I did a lot of research on selling my phone online and this company had many good reviews and showed trustworthy so that was why I went with them had I know I would not get as promised I would have kept looking for another option. Please send my check as promised.

Payment was promised up to 2 days from receiving the device. The device was received last week and payment has not been issued.
I sold my iPhone XR to gadgetgone approximately two weeks ago and mailed it in right away. They received the device last week and I received an email stating to allow up to 2 business days for review. We are in the following week and I do not have an update on payment. Also, my third email was never replied. Now I am unable to make contact with anyone.

Desired Outcome

I would like my payment to be sent via check as requested for the $525 I was offered. I would like payment confirmation.

The phone was paid for.

Sent them 3 phones I was suppose to be paid for and they are not responding to me anymore.
I sent them 3 phones that I was to be paid for. They received them on tuesday 2/19/2019 and I received an adjusted quote from they yesterday, 2/21/2019 and I responded to it within 15 minutes agreeing to it so they could email me an echeck. They since have not responded to any emails and I have not received an echeck which they state on their website you receive instantly.

I would either like the echeck I was promised, or my phones back.

It looks like our representative responded to your email and sent your e-check on 2/22. Many of our team attend college courses and work short shifts within their class schedule. The representative that was assisting you left at 2PM EST on 2/21 to go to class and as such couldn't respond to your email until the next business day.

I accepted a quote $300 from GadgetGone to sell my iPhone, and immediately shipped my phone, which arrived on February 7, 2019. My phone apparently wasn' t evaluated until 5 days after receipt, and while there was no dispute on the condition of my phone, I DID NOT RECEIVE THE AGREED TO PRICE. Because I chose to get my payment by *** rather than by check, I received $9 less due to *** fees! Nowhere on the GadgetGone website does it disclose a lesser payment using the *** option.

I went to website gadgetgone.com to sell my iphones and got the offer in the email and the shipping label. I've sent the package, but never received the payment. Nor I can reach anyone from the company. I've emailed and called multiple times without success of contacting anybody or getting any response.

They received my package on December 4,2018 Offer#*** that states, please allow 2 business days to evaluate. It's been two weeks now and I've not received the payment nor I can reach anybody.

I was offered $918.00 payment for 6 I Phones:
iPhone7 32GB brand new (sealed) qyt 3 total of $690.00
iPhone 6 16GB used qyt 2 total of $180.00
iPhone 5S 16GB used qyt 1 total of $48.00

The total is $918.00 and the payment should be send to me in the email via printable eCheck.

Desired Outcome

The resolution I'm looking is to get the payment of $918.00 or return all the iphones in their original packaging.

Very sorry about the delay in processing your order. Your package was delivered to USPS on December 10th and we should have processed your order by December 13th but due to losing many of our team members within a 2 week time frame we ended up being 3 business days late on processing your order. It looks like you sold another phone with us about a month before this and that transaction was processed on time so I could definitely understand why you might be frustrated that we took longer than anticipated.

I just checked and the only email we received from you was on December 18th when you asked about the status of your order. That's the same day you opened this Revdex.com complaint and the same day we processed and paid for your order.

I again apologize for the delay and hope you're having a great holiday season!

I have not been paid for my iPhone 6 that I sent through USPS to GadgetGone on November 20, 2018.
On November 18th, I received a $90.00 offer from GadgetGone (offer is attached). I accepted this for my iPhone 6. I received an email response from Mishelle at GadgetGone Customer Support on November 19th (email attached).

I printed the mailing label (attached online e-label). I mailed my iPhone on November 20th. USPS tracking shows it arrived at their facility on November 23rd (USPS tracking attached).

The company stated "We will evaluate your iPhone(s) within 2 business days after the delivery date. If everything checks out with your iPhone(s) during the evaluation process, we'll send your payment the same day it's evaluated. If you elect to receive a mailed check, we'll put your check in the mail that same day. Checks are sent via USPS First Class Mail, which takes 2-5 days for delivery. We'll always send you a confirmation email to let you know your payment is on its way."

I have emailed GadgetGone twice. Once through their online support and the last time on December 5th to Mishelle (emailed attached). I have not received any response from GadgetGone.

As of today December 9th, I have not received any emails from them nor have I received my $90.00 payment.

Desired Outcome

I want my iPhone 6 returned to me or else I want to receive my $90 check.

So i'll start by saying we were definitely behind on processing this package and I sincerely apologize for that. Ordinarily we would have evaluated your iPhone by the 30th of December but due to losing a significant amount of our support staff all within a 1 month period we had a back-log of packages to process. We sent you several emails before this complaint was opened last week but we never received a response and our email software indicates that you never opened them. We already evaluated your device prior to this complaint being opened and requested some additional information about the iPhone because we found an issue with it. Please check the spam mail folder of the email account you added in your offer details if you don't see those emails anywhere. Rather than wait for a response we will go ahead and issue your full $90 payment today. You've requested that we sent your payment via a physical mailed check so please allow 2-4 days for that check to arrive in the mail.

I heard from the head of GadgeGone immediately. He apologized as they had a number of people leave and they were way behind in taking care of business. Also, they were using an incorrect email address for me so I was not receiving their emails. He offered me full price for my phone and my check arrived in about 4 days.

Sent two Iphones 11/21 with a promise I would receive a update within 2 days & $530 once the items were checked. No update or money to date 12/4.
I sent two Iphones (7 & 7 plus) in excellent condition with a promise that I would receive an update within 2 days of the items being checked and a printable e-check for $530. To date I have not received any response nor my phones returned to me. I contacted them via email through their site on 11/29, 12/1 and 12/4 and have not received a response. I called them on 11/30 and 12/4 and no one picks up. I left many messages with my telephone number and there has been no response.

Your package was delivered to USPS on November 27th and we typically would have processed your order by the end of the week (Friday, November 30th). As mentioned in the email I sent to you, we lost many of our experienced team members within a 2 week time frame which created a back-log of orders to process. This is what led to us being behind on processing your order, and for that I am again very sorry.

I checked the emails we received from you and the only correspondence we have from the email address you provided to us in your offer details was a response to my email letting you know that we were behind on processing your order, and another when you responded to the representative who processed your order. We always reply to customer emails within one business day and did not receive any emails from your email address on 11/29, 12/1 or 12/4 as you have mentioned in this complaint. I'll follow up with you after this to see if we can figure out what happened there.

I also just verified that one of our staff processed your order and sent your payment last week.

I'm again very sorry the delay in processing your order and want to reassure you that this situation was certainly not the norm for us.

After my complaint the CEO contacted me immediately and apologized for the delay.

Within two weeks I received a response on what I was expected to receive along with my check.

I was very pleased with the quick response I received.

This customers package was delivered to the local post office on November 27th and was picked up by us later that evening during our daily drop off/pickup. We processed their package as delivered in our system on the 28th and evaluated the customers iPhone 2 days later on the 30th. Upon evaluation of this customers iPhone it was found to be blocked by their carrier for an unpaid balance due. After explaining this to the customer they requested that we ship their iPhone back to them, which we did.

Was guaranteed payment within 2-5 days. Has been 10.
When I accepted Gadget Gone's offer, I was guaranteed pay,ent within 2-5 days because I chose to accept an e-check. As soon as I received the shipping label, I printed it out and shipped it immediately. This was on Nov. 10. I got an email from the looser office that it was delivered on Thursday,, Nov. 15. I didn't get an email from the company acknowledging receipt until Monday at lunch. I e-mailed them back stating what the post office said. The lady I chatted with said they received it on Friday and that they had until today at clos to get it assessed. Of course I have STILL heard nothing. The website still shows it as just being 'delivered.' They n Ed to stop advertising 2-5 day pay,ent if they are not going to keep that promise.

This customer has already been paid in full for her iPhone.

They quote a high price for your phone online, then lower it once they get the device. My phone always had a screen cover and case since it was new. I feel they inflate the prices to get you to send your phone to them. My iPhone 6s Plus was as near to perfect as they get.

I sent a iPhone 5 after getting a quote of $53. I took pictures and sent the flawless phone in its original box. They sent a picture of a phone with a busted screen and said they had to lower the quote by $10 to $43. I emailed them back and told them that wasn't my phone with a cracked screen and would not accept their offer. I sent her picture of my phone and said that if they wouldn't honor the original offer, I wanted MY phone back and in the condition I sent it! I reaffirmed the phone in the picture was not mine and if I get my phone back damaged I would report them to the Revdex.com, Attorney General and take them to small claims court! I would not use this company!

I mailed an iPhone 8 Plus to them. They received it a week ago today. Just shows delivered. Won't answer emails. No number to contact them. Website says 2 days after delivery to process. I did manage to chat with a female via chat 1 day to advise I did not put my name inside the box. She advisesd that was fine due to label on outside of box. Still nothing from them. Sent 2 other emails. No response. Wish I had just picked a larger company to deal with. Aggravated at this point.

Quick, painless, and they sent me emails all along the way to help track progress. Highest price paid for my iPhone. Will use again.

I chose GadgetGone to send in my old iPhone for cash when I updated my phone because they offered the highest payment for it compared to a multitude of other options. Although I was hesitant at first, I am really glad I chose GadgetGone because I received payment as soon as they received my iPhone, and I had no other issues. Very happy with this business!

Fast - painless - top dollar! My experience with Gadgetgone was excellent!

Phones were not shattered when shipped
Today on May 4, 2018, I received my phones back from Gadget Gone because they were only trying to pay me fifty dollars for two iPhone sevens. They returned my phones to me back today but they were completely shattered and weren't in the same condition as when I shipped them out. The phones had never been dropped although they did cut on they moved slowly but the screens weren't cracked. When I open my phones today the screen was shatterec. When I contacted gadget gone they didn't make any accommodations such as apologize or give me the money that the phones were messed up for as I emailed back and told them I will contact you all I got no response or resolution to this situation.

A refund for the phones they broke of two hundred dollars because when I was going to ship them to gazelle today that's how much gazelle was paying me for them all together

We're very sorry that this customers experience didn't live up to her expectations but to be clear, we did not crack or damage this customers devices in any way. They were both non-functional and damaged when we received them. She indicated that both were fully functional in her initial offer details so she was sent a re-quoted offer amount once we evaluated her devices. She agreed that her phones had problems but rather than accept a lower quote she asked for the devices to be returned to her, claiming that she could get $90-$100 each for them from another company. We have emailed this customer and she has agreed that a total payment of $200 for her devices would be an acceptable remedy for this complaint. We are willing to issue a payment of $200, provided that she sends us back both devices and makes sure that any associated iCloud accounts have been removed, per our advertised policy. I was fortunate to receive a company phone, but was not sure what to do with the phone I had owned previously. The only option I found that I felt I could trust was returning it to *** for store credit, which I didn't feel I would use. A friend told me about GadgetGone and because things went smoothly for her and she was paid as expected, I did it too. The process was easy, the team was responsive to questions and kept me updated and informed. If you're looking to sell an old phone, I highly recommend going this route!
