I am rejecting this response because:
This company did nothing to keep in formed.  They did not earn any money.  They know I can't hire an attorney without full release.  I have left three messages with no return call from Bryan J[redacted] or his assistant.

I'm so disappointed with this company in every respect. They promised to contact me, but never did. I call but am put on hold for 30 to 45 minutes. This is symptomatic of a company that is either under staffed or simply hoping you'll hang up. They promised quick action for me. HA!!! I called to complain today. After 43 minutes on hold someone finally answered. They didn't seem very interested in my concerns. So the person said I needed to talk to the assistant manager Louis and transferred me. Instead of getting this person, I got the voicemail of someone else. That's when I decided to check GAR out on the Revdex.com. I'm glad I did. Wow what a bum firm. Money comes before people there. Since I can't reach the proper person, or anyone of authority, I'm announcing here: "GAR, your fired!" Period!
Sincerely,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Based on the information I initially received from GAR both written and verbally, I was mislead to believe that they were a court appointed representative. Upon retaining local representation for my case this was brought to my attention by my new lawyer. The statement I made with regard to GAR not doing ANY work on my case is entirely based on the documents collected by the Social Security Administration and stored in my claim file. That claim file contains all of the all of the applications, reports, medical history and other records that pertain to my case. Even though GAR has stated work was done on my case there is no proof of that in the claim file. All of it's contents were solicited by my local attorney during the time she was working on my case. I have since lost that representation due to the non-profit organization she worked with closing it's doors.
With that having been said I have respectfully requested that GAR submit a document to the SSA waiving their right to collect a fee. It is very unethical and frankly a dirty business practice to withdraw from a case and expect to receive a fee by manipulating the situation with statements such as "we do not waive our right to collect a fee". In layman's terms that is saying even though we have no right to any compensation on this case we know that when it is adjudicated we will receive a fee by slipping this statement into a document in which we are withdrawing from the case. Not to mention it took me over two months of phone calls, letters and pleading with GAR to withdraw. They represent themselves as advocates for individuals like myself who don't know all of the ins and outs of a disability case when in reality they are feeding on that lack of knowledge to fill their own pockets with no real entitlement to any compensation. Another great example of lawyers using the laws to the detriment of the common citizen to enrich themselves.
This Revdex.com complaint can be easily resolved by GAR simply submitting a letter to the SSA waiving their right to a fee, to which they have no entitlement. By their failure to comply I am forced to go forward with my case unrepresented because I am unable to find an attorney/advocate that will work my case and have to share the fee, in which they are entitled to the full amount, with an organization such as GAR whom has NO PROOF OF DOING ANY WORK on my case as shown in the Disability Claim File.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

[redacted]

For a place that is supposed to help you in your time of need and illness, it is a joke. They promised how they will help you for getting social security . Instead it was the runaround . My doctors never heard anything from them . I get phone calls from different people and different numbers. For the fees they charge , it was outrageous . Finally , I said I will get more results handling the matter myself. I first told them to take me off their lists . Then I get messages about to call them how they would help me. I kept telling them not to contact me again . Then I was told to send a close out letter , which was faxed to them 6/15/16. I get a message to call them today. I told I sent the closeout letter as they asked . I told them not to contact me again

When I submitted my claim online, the GAR webpage was linked to the SSI website, thinking they were connected to SSI, I have filled out their questionare and submitted it. All they have done is nothing, when I call my "caseworker" I don't even know her name, I can barely understand what she saying, I even texted that number and she I think her name is "Robertha" or "Northbertha" even text me back. How do you text from a business phone? And the lack of proper English makes it hard to understand. I have asked to speak to an actual Lawyer and got transferred to the case worker's voicemail. They seem like a phone bank, doing nothing until you win your case and then they want 25%. I do not want this "Firm" to represent my case any further!

+1

I was contacted by GAR in September of 2016 like another person posted thinking they were with Social Security. I filled out all the forms and sent them back. I was contacted by an Advocate and we reviewed the paperwork. Before the end of the call I was told I would get updates every 60 days until the claim was complete, or I could call if I had any questions. Well 65 days past and I called. The person that answered the phone stated that I my case worker was not at that office and someone would get back with me. 3 days later a voicemail was left for me while I was at my Dr' s appointment. The person said that she was my caseworker' s supervisor and per the records I needed some form filled out. A few days later the form was in the mailbox. This was AFTER I had already had "ALL" forms being submitted. Fast forward to today my claim is about to be denied because GAR did not submit all the release forms, and I can not get to Social Security because I do not have transportation, and can not vet a hold of anyone from GAR. My new email was sent to them letting them know that they are fired, and now I have to wait 6 months before I can file again. This is the last thing I needed before this move I have to make in 2 weeks.
