Dear Revdex.com,This order was made in April of 2015 to a freight forwarder, then overseas. The customer did not open the order until July and is claiming that the products are spoiled. We do not have control of the temperatures in warehouses of the freight forwarders that the customer chose to use. We will not be reissuing him a refund.Live Well,GNC Legal Department

General Nutrition Corporation (“GNC”) is in receipt of consumer complaint [redacted] filed with your agency by [redacted]. GNC Customer Service would like to extend its sincere apology to Ms. [redacted] for any dissatisfaction that may have been experienced while being a valued customer of GNC. However, GNC Customer Service is not able to decipher the customer’s complaint. GNC can help explain that it is company policy to have a customer sign two register receipts for any returns made in store. To that end, GNC Customer Service has denied issuing a credit to Ms. [redacted] until we can get a better description of her complaint. Live Well GNC Legal Department

Review: Longtime member, tried on line purchase for first time due to great deal they sent mailers on. Ordered triple order of a buy one @ $15 get one free. The immefiately billed card for $60 was to see product within 5 to 7 days. Never came, never came. I called after 3-4 weeks to complain. They said FedEx nor USPS could deliver, so they had it sent back and put credit on my card???? WTH? Why no call, what went wrong? So I said, if you like I would give different address.....oh guess what, that deal expired!?!?!? They would not honor. So I said, fine I will find another supplier. How about refunding my membership? Nope, can't per the agreement. I fear they where losing on the special so they blew my off. Worst ever customer

General Nutrition Corporation (“GNC”) is in receipt of consumer complaint [redacted] filed with your agency by [redacted]. GNC Customer Service would like to extend its sincere apology to Mr. [redacted] for any dissatisfaction that may have been experienced while being a valued customer of GNC.com. We have done some research into Mr. [redacted] complaint, and found that order number [redacted] was purchased at the quantity 6 for $60.00, lowered by the representative from the original price of $90.00. The order was placed as one sale ended and the other began. The first sale of the day was 2 for $30 and the second sale was a BOGO at $22 per pair. Mrs. [redacted] (who purchased the products) was charged $6.00 less by GNC using the closest possible promo we have to match the price without charging the customer more than they should have paid. Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] have been refunded, and GNC’s Customer Service representatives have left voice mailings for both, and we hope for a contact back from both parties to meet their needs and to help make their experience with GNC run more smoothly for their next orderings. Review: I purchase items from their online site, they sent me a coupon-Save $5 on your next GNC.com purchase of $50 or more.

There are not any exclusions printed on the coupon. But because my cart contain sale items, they said they don't have to honor it.Desired Settlement: I want them to honor their coupons and start printing exclusions on their coupons!!

However, the coupon in use does not qualify for the BOGO 50% off offer and cannot be combined with other promotions. The GNC website states that coupons cannot be stacked and “Other exclusions may apply” and coupons are used on “select products only.” GNC Customer Service has tried calling Mr. [redacted] on two occasions to mediate this issue with no answer on Mr. [redacted]’s end. To that end, GNC has concluded that we will not be issuing rewrites of our coupons. Live Well GNC Legal Department

Review: IN JAN 22 I see the products of GNC is very LOW, so I placed some orders to share the products with my family and friends, But when the products shipped, GNC charged me more money with my credit card. I check with my bank the Authorized price is the same as the price when I place the order and I have all the emails than GNC send me when I place the order. and I send the emails to GNC to ask them why, but GNC did not answer my question and just say the price what GNC charged is the right price.order numberAuthorized priceGNC charge me [redacted]6 $102.79 $108.[redacted]206 $111.79 $172.[redacted]485 $11.49 $24.99[redacted]5 $38.30 $83.[redacted]665 $23.30 $83.[redacted]395 $23.30 $83.[redacted]135 $3.30 $83.[redacted]725 $3.30 $83.[redacted]755 $3.30 $83.[redacted]365 $27.96 $99.9[redacted]45 $49.56 $99.9[redacted]95 $11.16 $99.9[redacted]95 $45.96 $99.9[redacted]25 $24.61 $99.9[redacted]75 $26.16 $74.97[redacted]5 $11.16 $99.9[redacted]35 $17.76 $99.9[redacted]25 $7.66 $99.9[redacted]75 $4.66 $99.9[redacted]75 $2.33 $99.9[redacted]05 $2.33 $99.9[redacted]95 $2.33 $99.9[redacted]35 $2.33 $99.9[redacted]25 $45.96 $99.9[redacted]65 $2.33 $99.96 all: $605.13$2,379.96should refund me$1,774.83Desired Settlement: I want GNC to refund me the money that He charged me the submount is $1,774.83

Review: I bought this GNC triflex 120 Caplets, Item #[redacted], in this summer (year 2014). After taking 3 Caplets a day as instructed on the bottle, my blood pressure went to to 120/230. I was then hospitalized for three days. The doctor told me it was a life threatening situation.Later I found on the specific product website, there was a negative review indicating blood pressure issue by some other consumers. I made screenshots. Also, I added my review as well. Now, if you go to the same product webpage, all negative reviews are gone! I can provide my screenshots in October 2014 if any part is interested. My complaints:1. This particular product by GNC:GNC triflex 120 Caplets, Item #[redacted], causes my blood pressure in creased to a life threatening level. I was hospitalized. I called GNC, no one is following up the case.2. GNC removes the negative reviews of This particular product by GNC:GNC triflex 120 Caplets, Item #[redacted].And the reviews being removed by GNC is related to the serious side effects of the product!Desired Settlement: I am seeking help to bring GNC's wrongdoing to the attention of certain government agencies. Review: Purchased merchandise from GNC under order numbers [redacted] & [redacted]. I returned both purchases on March 11,2016. I have not received a refund because so one stated that I did not send back the same product, even though I indicated on my return form that I was sent the wrong product. Per GNC's website, they advertise a 30 day money-back guarantee as follows: We want you to be fully satisfied with every item that you purchase from www.gnc.com. If you are not satisfied with an item that you have purchased, you may return the item within 30 days from the order date for a full refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping, handling, gift wrap, or other charges. The item must be returned, unused or used, in good condition, in original boxes (whenever possible), and with all paperwork and accessories to ensure full credit." Regardless, they have nearly 80 pounds of product (per UPS) I returned and have not issued a refund. Most recently I filled ANOTHER investigation on 4/25(ID:[redacted]) with customer service rep Lyn, spoke with supervisor Jose, (ext.[redacted]) and was told this would be resolved within 48 hours. It has been another week since.

It clearly indicates that the item must be used or unused and in the original box (whenever possible) . If I had sent empty boxes(instead of 80 pounds worth), the refund policy indicates I should have been refunded and that's what I expect, immediately.

Additionally, I have disputed this with my credit card company and they keep failing to provide adequate documentation for the investigation.Desired Settlement: Refund of purchase amount of $515.89. Respirations for the time (and interest charges) accrued since GNC received the product back in warehouse two months ago.

Review: On Nov. 19, 2015 I stopped by the GNC to purchase two products. I have been using this particular GNC for several years and a GNC customer for well over 20 years. When my two products were rang up I noticed salesperson had charged me too much for one product and she also had not honored the "but one get one half price special" that advertised above the products I purchased. When I took her to the shelf to show her the correct price advertised for the product, which was the price I've paid for the product in this store on many occasions, she simply said, "It's the wrong price." When I then pointed out the several signs above the products that stated "Mix And Match.Buy one get One Half price ", she simply refused to honor the promotion. She refused to sell me the product for the advertised and displayed price and she refused to honor the promotion cleat displayed above the products.False advertisement and very poor customer service.Desired Settlement: I would like the store to honor its displayed promotion and prices. A store credit for the items

Review: A short time ago, I purchased a significant amount of vitamins and supplements from the GNC store at [redacted]. The GNC employee asked me to donate $10 to a charity that GNC was soliciting donations for and I donated the requested $10. I was told that I could receive a $10 credit for my visit to GNC the following month. I had difficulty getting this credit applied to a purchase at the GNC in Perry, Georgia so I called the GNC Corporate Office. I was sent a $10 Customer Service Coupon (Number 23117) for use for a future purchase. Today, I went to the GNC [redacted] at [redacted] and spoke with [redacted]. I went to this store to purchase the GNC Diabetic Vitamin Packs for my manager at work and Turmeric Curcumin for myself. I spent $104.29 today but was unable to use my GNC coupon. The coupon had expired on 07/31/2014 and so she called ###-###-#### and the person that answered the call at the GNC Corporate Office refused to authorize the use of the Customer Service Coupon, stating that I had to send it back to the corporate office, but I was never given an address to send it to. GNC Corporate personnel have issued new coupon numbers over the phone to a GNC store employee in the past, but it appears that GNC is deliberately being uncooperative with GNC customers. I told [redacted] that I would shop at The Vitamine Shop store down the street from now on and that GNC had lost a customer (I have been a Gold Card customer for about 30 years). The GNC Corporate employee stated that she did not care if I ever shopped at GNC again (I heard this over the phone) and this shocked me. It appears that GNC does not care about retaining customers because an agent for GNC actually said that! I went ahead and made my purchase today, but it will be my last purchase from GNC.Desired Settlement: I would like a check for $10 mailed to me so I can go to another nutrition store and buy my vitamins and supplements from a company that actually wants my business and is willing to treat me in a fair and ethical manner. I would also like the $15 refunded for the recent renewal of my GNC Gold card. This is a total of $25. Thank you.

Review: I received an e-mail advertisement from GNC advertising a 30% off sale on selected items. On the page advertising the sale is a picture of their 100% Whey Protein powder product, clearly advertising that this product is included in the 30% off sale. However, when you click to the page to buy this product, you are told that it does not qualify for the 30% off sale. This is clearly false advertising. I would gladly forward the advertisement to you if you will tell me how to do that. I would like to have GNC honor the 30% off sale for the products pictured in the 30% off advertisement. I look forward to your response.Desired Settlement: I would like to have GNC honor the 30% off sale for the products pictured in the 30% off advertisement.

Review: I placed an order on GNC.com on Oct 18. The payment is cleared and so far I have not received anything (over $200 products). I've contacted them more than 10 times via phone and emails. At first, they told me they will re-ship all the items (Nov 2). It has been 6 days and there is no tracking number and I still received nothing. Nov 6, customer rep told me products will arrive the next day. However, Nov 7, there is nothing. Same day I called them again, customer represent told me there is no shipment going out for this order. I emailed them right after, this morning the first customer service rep told me she will re-arrange a standard shipping for me which can take up to 2 weeks. I told her, no, please experdite for 2- day shipping. The second customer rep come to me and said , sorry, since we have arranged the reshipment on Nov 2, you have to wait. I told them, no, I was told there is no shippment going out, otherwise it has been 6 days, why you can't even provide me a tracking#. I do not think those customer representitave are doing their job really check on this order. At least, so far, I do not even know there is a shippment or not. different customer service rep told me different situation. And for me, I've paid over $200 for three weeks, but I get nothing! I urgently need these products as I told them, I need bring them in a coming trip which is next week. It is a desperate feel that they just refuse to seriously look into your case. Everyone is like a rebot copy paste a standard form of answer to me. But obviously there is something wrong with this order. could you please contact them to arrange a 2day ship, ship out today?Thank you so muchDesired Settlement: Please arrange 2 day shipping for this order within today. Review: On 3/17/16, I placed a large order with GNC. I paid $150 with a gift card and charged $23.99 to a personal credit card.

The order was fulfilled and sent out for delivery. However, though I had selected 2-day delivery, my order was not delivered in two business days; nearly two weeks after the original order was placed, my order was "scheduled for delivery." Upon speaking with Fedex, the delivery company, they informed me that the order had been damaged in shipping and was sent back to the GNC warehouse. I called GNC customer service on 3/28/16 to inquire about the order (the day it was scheduled to be delivered), and the person I spoke with was impolite and informed me that according to GNC, my order was "completed." Whether or not the items were delivered to me was irrelevant; the package had been "delivered." It was also my understanding from this phone call that if I hadn't contacted them, they would never have refunded me. The customer service representative tried to "re-place" my order with an abatement credit of about $6 on 3/28/16, but I refused to place another order until I received a refund. She advised me that it could take up to 16 business days to receive a refund. After waiting 29 business days since the original order and well past the 16 business day window, I contacted GNC via email on 4/27/16 requesting an immediate refund. I was informed on 4/28/16 that I would receive a refund with 2-5 business days. It has been 6 business days and I have still not received a refund. I have emailed them again today, 5/6/16, requesting an immediate refund and informing them I would be filing a Revdex.com complaint against them.Desired Settlement: 1. I would like my credit card refunded immediately in the amount of $23.99 that was originally paid.

2. I would like the gift card I used refunded immediately in the amount of $150.00 that was originally paid.

3. I would like an additional abatement credit towards my order in the amount of $23.99 so I may re-place the original order at the flat total of $150.00.

Review: On May 6, 2014, I purchased the GNC series products, May 8, 2014 to send (order no. [redacted]), use fedex Smart Post delivery (tracking ticket no. [redacted]), the service will eventually by the local USPS delivery, tracking shows delivered on May 14. But I have not received the parcel. I have already contact fedex and GNC dozens of times, mutual shuffle, let me find each other to negotiate to solve the problem. I later learned, is don't need to sign for package, this may lead to lost. I strongly request make up for my loss, so many days of negotiations, I exhaustion of body and mind. 20 days since I have 15 with GNC E-mail exchanges. But I have always been a useless answer. For example, "The order was shipped via FedEx tracking# [redacted] and was delivered by The USPS on 5/14/2014 at 4:32 PM. Deliveries completed by USPS do not require a signature." "On our records, this order was shipped correctly in full. If there is an issue, you will need to file a claim with the freight company. " "Please accept our apologizes; we are unable to reship or credit you account for this order. Based on our records, this order was shipped correctly in full. If there is an issue, you will need to file a claim with the freight company. Again we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. " I contacted with GNC and express company many times (dozens of emails), their mutual shuffle. No matter how do I request and explain, GNC always let me contact the Courier company, Courier company and always let me contact GNC, I wasted a lot of time and energy for this purpose. Distance I buy time already for a month, I still have not received my parcel.Desired Settlement: Actually I don't ask for a refund, I hope I can help me find my package, and not let myself go to! Review: I placed an order containing boxes of different varieties of protein bars, and 2 boxes I received were of the wrong kind/not what I ordered. I called GNC's customer service multiple times trying to get this resolved so I could return the items I didn't want and get the correct items sent to me, and each time I was lied to by the reps I talked to. I was told multiple times I'd be e-mailed a return label so I could return the incorrect products, and each time no one followed through. When I'd call again, the next rep would have no idea that I should've been sent a return label, like there was no record of it at all, and I would get all kinds of excuses. After trying this a few times and getting nowhere, I finally I spoke to a rep who seemed more helpful than the others and generously said I could keep the wrong items and that they would mail out the correct items to me free of charge. This seemed like great service to make up for the problems in service and communication, but again... no one followed through, I was never sent the correct items, I never heard from anyone again or received any kind of followup, and all I received was a bizarre e-mail from GNC full of coding errors and blank product names for my shipment. This is absolutely awful customer service, and it is ridiculous to have to jump through so many hoops and get nowhere for something that was GNC's error to begin with.Desired Settlement: I would like to be mailed the proper items as I was told I would be--since I bought the boxes as part of a pack set, a partial refund does not seem possible.
