Review: IN JAN 22 I see the products of GNC is very LOW, so I placed some orders to share the products with my family and friends, But when the products shipped, GNC charged me more money with my credit card. I check with my bank the Authorized price is the same as the price when I place the order and I have all the emails than GNC send me when I place the order. and I send the emails to GNC to ask them why, but GNC did not answer my question and just say the price what GNC charged is the right price.order numberAuthorized priceGNC charge me [redacted]6 $102.79 $108.[redacted]206 $111.79 $172.[redacted]485 $11.49 $24.99[redacted]5 $38.30 $83.[redacted]665 $23.30 $83.[redacted]395 $23.30 $83.[redacted]135 $3.30 $83.[redacted]725 $3.30 $83.[redacted]755 $3.30 $83.[redacted]365 $27.96 $99.9[redacted]45 $49.56 $99.9[redacted]95 $11.16 $99.9[redacted]95 $45.96 $99.9[redacted]25 $24.61 $99.9[redacted]75 $26.16 $74.97[redacted]5 $11.16 $99.9[redacted]35 $17.76 $99.9[redacted]25 $7.66 $99.9[redacted]75 $4.66 $99.9[redacted]75 $2.33 $99.9[redacted]05 $2.33 $99.9[redacted]95 $2.33 $99.9[redacted]35 $2.33 $99.9[redacted]25 $45.96 $99.9[redacted]65 $2.33 $99.96 all: $605.13$2,379.96should refund me$1,774.83Desired Settlement: I want GNC to refund me the money that He charged me the submount is $1,774.83

Review: On Friday, September 5, 2014 I placed two order with GNC for some vitamins and supplements. At the time of those orders I selected Shoprunner Two Day Shipping. In following up on the status of those orders, I see that they were actually shipped using Fedex Ground (Standard Ground) service. I have tried to resolve this issue through their customer service group, but to no avail thus far.I have sent several emails to customer service reps, and I spoke with customer service supervisor [redacted] on 9/10/2014. To this date, they have successfully blamed the customer for their incompetence.I told them FedEx 2 Day shipping, and FedEx Ground are two completely different animals and are handled differently. They keep insisting that they sent the package FedEx 2 day. I have emails stating diffently and would be glad to provide as proof if necessaryDesired Settlement: Assurance that if I order again, shipping will be applied accordingly. I would also like the name and phone number of a "High Level" customer service rep who can actually answer questions and not feed me canned database answers to my concerns. An "sincere" apology would go a long ways!

Review: I did not receive any packages but GNC insists that they have delivered and refused to refund or help to do reshipment.I took the order on 12th, Jan on gnc.com. Until now, no package received, no action had been taken by GNC.The package values $269.19.Desired Settlement: Refund

Review: I placed an order from GNC online on Aug 1st, and they confirmed the shipment on Aug. 2rn, and I got an tracking number of FedEx. However, I can only see "initiated" with the tracking number, it supposed to be delivered on Aug 6, but on Aug 6, I still only see "initiated" with the tracking number. So I called FedEx, the agent told me, the label created on Aug 2, but they did not receive the package, so they have nothing to ship. Then I called GNC to ask what happened, the agent insisted they have shipped the package, but I think the truth is they did not ship the package, so I cannot see any updates with the tracking number they gave to me.Desired Settlement: I want GNC confirm my order and ship it as soon as possible, otherwise, they need to give my money back.

Review: GNC advertises 15% discount on entire purchase, when purchasing thru a promotional e-mail. I wanted to take advantage of it; however the discount was not reflected at checkout. I contacted GNC thru on line chat. The rep informed me, that the purchase does qualify for the discount. She told me to complete the purchase, and GNC will send me a credit later. That is not what was advertised.Desired Settlement: I would like the discount to be applied at the time of online purchase as advertised/ solicited.

Business

Response:

Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns regarding GNC.

After an internal investigation, we have conducted that the 15% discount you are referring to is most likely the Welcome email, which does have restrictions. The customer must click the link provided in the e-mail in order to obtain the discount on eligible items.

From your notes it appears you were attempting to purchase an item that was not eligible for the promotion but the chat agent was going to appease you with an after-the-fact credit on the order. In order to receive appeasement without it being after-the-fact please call [redacted], and speak to a representative that can apply the code during the order process.

If you have any further questions please contact the customer service department.

Review: Had issues with two GNC orders.

Order [redacted] had been damaged in transit. After contacting GNC on tracking [redacted]# I was told a full credit of $227.07 had been issued on 1/30/16. Credit request (ID: 17848192). The refund did not post to my online card activity within 2-5 business days and the card issuer said they had not received a refund from GNC. I contacted GNC on 2/10/16 and was told the issue would be forwarded to the management team for review and I would hear back in 2-5 business days. I contacted GNC again 2/17/16 and was told the the issue would be forwarded to the management team for review, marked high priority, and I would hear back in 2-5 business days.

Order [redacted] the 4 bottles shipped to me were expired. We are on vacation out east and I brought the package with me and shipped it out to GNC’s return center while we were in PA to save on return shipping fees. The tracking # was [redacted] with UPS and it was delivered 2/11/16 and signed for by L[redacted]. GNC did not have record of my return.Desired Settlement: I feel that GNC should issue the refund they already promised for order [redacted] and that a refund should be issued for the 4 bottles of Zantrex returned on order [redacted]. Please issue these refunds to my card as soon as possible.

If I don't receive the refunds I will pursue a chargeback with my card issuer.

Review: I placed an order with GNC. They sent the wrong items. I called GNC. I was promised a return label and and my refund. I have received neither. I have been lied to about the return label and the refund. I have contacted GNC three or 4 times. Each time I am lied to and hear a different story. or a different excuse. I want my refund. I want to return their stuff. I will never do business with them again.Desired Settlement: Stop lying to me and refund my money. GNC has lied and GNC messed up! Refund my money!

Review: On January 14,2016 I ordered some products from GNC.com which my first time buying products from them online, reason I did because they had a sale online only. MY shipment date was for the 18th of January which never arrived but according to the delivery company tracking it was delivered. I contacted GNC.com customer service and explained what happened the GNC rep told me they could reship it but it will take another week to get to my location. I explained I needed them already, so I replied ill take my refund and go local store to get my vitamins. she said alright it will be in your account in 2 days time. I called back on the 23rd of January and spoke to another rep to see what's going on with my refund that hasn't applied to my account. She explained that she was sorry and that it would take another day or two I said this is ridiculous I don't have my money back nor do I have my products. At this time the GNC rep told me that for all the issues that was occurring that she would put in notes for a reshipment of my original order and my refund. I said that much longer would both take she also told me two to three days later she said you should have an email with all the tracking info and the status of your refund. Next days past by I didn't receive anything again I called, on the 26th of January and explained myself and the rep gave me attitude and raising voice at me then hang up the phone on me. I called back once again explained myself and was left on hold for 11mins and then they hang up once again. I called the next day the 27th and spoke with Mary [redacted] GNC rep she was awesome helped me out and also stated that she didn't know what was going on with the reshipment because its on here on your notes to be sent out. Per our conversation she said I will have an email within 2 days for the reshipment and the refund as well. Once again neither happened, so I called on the 30th spoke with a manager named Andrew the worst manager ever called me a lair and stared to yell at me.Desired Settlement: I want them to keep their word as company they say there excellent customer service and were number one. But the way I treated as customer I would really disagree and also my refund that I still don't have nor my products. Its insane its almost two weeks later and I don't have my money and the GNC reps were the one that said I was getting both my refund and my products that's what I want or store credit of a higher amount. I wouldn't want other customer going thru what I did. Thank you.

Response:

Good afternoon my view on this is that GNC Took a whole month to give me back my money for product I never recived and which I didn't receive the full amount back into my account. From the 19th of January from my first concern to GNC customer service and only now they respond shows a lack of what a customer means. Especially waiting all this time to get a response from them. Shame on them and I wouldn't want any other customer going thru this ridiculousness I went through just for first time buyer online. GNC needs to up there customer service skills especially with there m[redacted]ers need retraining. I'm gussing that's why they have horrible ratings on yelp and Google for online ordering. Other then GNC giving me what they Originally promised and I want a 250 credit that I may purchase at a local store to my likings, local stores never have a problem always working for customer service and very helpful. This not much according to what I went thru and all the time that GNC Legal service took to respond to a customer about a concern. I'm gussing that I wasn't important enough to respond as a loyal customer to GNC. So I would to see if GNC legal service take pride of there customers.

Review: on 10/02 I went into GNC, I purchased vitamins and a cleanser. while walking to my car I remembered I would be starting medicine from my skin doctor the next day....which I am not supposed to take anything else. so, I decided to return the iteams purchased at GNC....I returned an iteam total was 90.94. When I made initial order I used a credit I had received from Verizon of 75.00 and the balance I put on my debit card...when, I made return the manager [redacted] put the total of 90.94 on the visa....the next day when using the visa my transaction was declined I call the visa and they said there was no credit available when I told them about the credit the day before they said because there was only a 75.00 balance that I used you cannot put 90.94 back on the card.....so, I went to the GNC and told everything to the manager. He then called GNC corporate which the women in customer service said they would call me the following week and also told me she could give me a 25.00 coupon ! I explained to her I returned the merchandise and just wanted my refund! It is October 17th and I have called 3 times and have not got a response ! please see what you can do I just want what is mine ..Thank youDesired Settlement: 90.94

Review: I recently received a mailing from this company advertising Member's Only sale prices on products I have purchased in the past. One of the products was Vitaro, listed at the Member price of $15.98, at a savings of $19.01. This was a great deal, I thought. I went to my local GNC store to make my purchase.

The store manager was shocked and surprised, knowing nothing about this discounted price. After a little research she determined this was a discontinued product, not the "new" product I had in my hand, and was not available in her store. It was also not available on the website.

To say that I was disappointed is an understatement. I had hoped to purchase several canisters at this great price, as there is only 10 servings per container (1 1/2 serving per day).

I called Customer Service and explained the problem. The woman apologized, then offered a discount coupon of $15 for one replacement product. I had wished to purchase more than one at the advertised price. But she could not accommodate me.Desired Settlement: I would like to purchase several (10) of the Vitargo product that the store currently carries(same size cannister) at the advertised price.

Review: On 1/11/15 I placed an order on GNC's website. I used a gift card and paypal. When I placed the order PayPal authorized the transaction and sent it to my bank. The gift card was debited for $45 levaing a 0 balance. A few moments later, GNC cancelled my order. When I contacted them, they told me to re-order. At this time I had a pending charge on my account for the remaining balance after the gift card and a 0 balance on the gift card. Their answer to this was it was PayPal's authorization that failed and they have 3-5 days to return the money to my account and gift card, but I am welcome to re-order. After speaking with PayPal, they assured me that their authorization was not the issue, the charge was sent to my bank, and everything was fine on that end. This is a GNC issue. GNC refuses to accept responsibility, refuses to help me out, and refuses to acknowledge that they have done anything wrong. I basically was told too bad, go to PayPal, and leave them alone. I will also throw in that they had on their site to sign up for emails and get %15 off, I did that and got nothing off, nothing in my email, or anything. I will never use GNC once I spend the $45 card... if they ever put the money back on it.Desired Settlement: I want GNC to acknowledge their error, educate their Customer Service team, and ensure that I get a discount that their site advertises.

Review: I am writing you in regards to my most recent visit to the GNC store located at the Genesee Valley Mall in Flint, MI. I had purchase a container on lean shake protein and forgot my promotional discount at home. Aware of shopper's policy, I returned the receipt along with the voucher, as addressed with Renee the store manager whom open at 10am that morning. Renee, refunded the coupon though I had another and at that time, I decided to purchase another product of the same brand and the discount wasn't added but the previous arrangement from my GNC gift card was added, leaving a $5.00 difference.Desired Settlement: $5.00

Review: On 03/17/2016 online web site order placed totaling $139.71 for which online web site could not validate account information and address so directed to use another account. One order was charged at $139.71 to a credit card and debit card and upon contacting Customer Service at [redacted] on 03/17/2016 at 9:49 pm EDT with ERIC order was CANCELLED because ERIC was unwilling to help get issue addressed and resolved. ERIC supposedly did complete a RELEASE TO HOLD AUTHORIZATION for my bank, asked for a contact telephone number and provided a confirmation # [redacted]. What was done with this collected information as it was never used to get these two (2) pending charges removed from credit card and debit card. GNC

has refused to contact my bank to get these two (2) pending charges at $139.71 each removed to date. Spoke with PHIL, supervisor on 03/18/2016 at 9:44 am EDT and was told he will expedite this to authorizations but to no avail. Have sent numerous e-mails and web site contact forms to GNC.com but to no avail. Get the lame excuse GNC.com does not charge an account until order ships but that is not the case here. Was asked to contact Robert F, customer Service Supervisor on 03/23/2016 which I did but while providing information to him he disconnected the call. Requested numerous times by telephone to GNC.com Customer Service and e-mails to [redacted] to have him return my call but to no avail. Have read numerous negative REVIEWS on GNC.com and written my own very harsh REVIEW of GNC.com, GNC staff and GNC Supervisors to date.Desired Settlement: I want and expect the CANCELLED order removed from credit card account and debit card account at $139.71 each ASAP as it has already been seven (7) days and these pending charges are still reflecting because GNC.com has ignored my numerous requests to get this resolved. My bank also stated that GNC.com needed to address and resolve this issue on their end since the GNC.com online web site created the problem on 03/17/2016 at 9:49 pm EDT?!

Hello,

Review: I placed an order on GNC.com on Oct 18. The payment is cleared and so far I have not received anything (over $200 products). I've contacted them more than 10 times via phone and emails. At first, they told me they will re-ship all the items (Nov 2). It has been 6 days and there is no tracking number and I still received nothing. Nov 6, customer rep told me products will arrive the next day. However, Nov 7, there is nothing. Same day I called them again, customer represent told me there is no shipment going out for this order. I emailed them right after, this morning the first customer service rep told me she will re-arrange a standard shipping for me which can take up to 2 weeks. I told her, no, please experdite for 2- day shipping. The second customer rep come to me and said , sorry, since we have arranged the reshipment on Nov 2, you have to wait. I told them, no, I was told there is no shippment going out, otherwise it has been 6 days, why you can't even provide me a tracking#. I do not think those customer representitave are doing their job really check on this order. At least, so far, I do not even know there is a shippment or not. different customer service rep told me different situation. And for me, I've paid over $200 for three weeks, but I get nothing! I urgently need these products as I told them, I need bring them in a coming trip which is next week. It is a desperate feel that they just refuse to seriously look into your case. Everyone is like a rebot copy paste a standard form of answer to me. But obviously there is something wrong with this order. could you please contact them to arrange a 2day ship, ship out today?Thank you so muchDesired Settlement: Please arrange 2 day shipping for this order within today. Products have to go out today so I can receive early next week!!!!!!

Review: GNC gets your credit card number for shipment of a free item. Then they use your credit card to start shipping the free item but now you pay about $90 for the same item. Just a way to con you for Credit Card #. This not but trash!Desired Settlement: Stop sending me trash and stop using my credit card!

Thank you for contacting GNC.

We want to assure you that this order and charge is not from GNC. Please contact Force Factor to claim your refund by calling ###-###-#### and to cancel future orders / automatic billing if you do not wish to continue with their shipments.

It appears that you may have signed up to receive a free trial of their product and did not cancel within their trial period; therefore, they have begun to send you automatic shipments.

For more information about how you can return your order to Force Factor, you may go to www.forcefactor.com/faqs. They will be able to send you a Return Merchandise Authorization form.

Regarding our logo on the packing slip, please note that from time to time we provide our logo to manufacturers of 3rd party products that we carry so they may use it to direct their customers to our stores for purchase. However, it is also possible that these manufacturers will offer to sell their product directly to customers via their own website or other retail vehicle, which is what occurred in this case. Again, we are very sorry for the poor experience you have encountered during the placement of your sample order with this company.

Please accept our offer of $15 off, which will be mailed to you during the next business day.

Sincerely,

GNC Customer Service

Review: This is for GNC order # [redacted]. I bought 4 bottles of GNC women's 50+ vitamin for my mom. She is from Canada so the items were shipped to a package holding place near the border. She wasn't able to pick up till 4 months later. However, when she picked them up, she realized the vitamins were expiring in a few days from her pickup. This is ridiculous for GNC to sell products that expire within 5 months of purchase without notifying on the website at all about the product age at time of purchase. If items were expiring soon they need to warn the consumer ahead of time. We bought 4 bottles which was supposed to last a year but there was no way we could finish them even if my mom was to take them immediately upon ordering. We contacted GNC but they refused to refund or reship items with reasonable expiration dates. We paid premium for GNC products when the normal drugstore vitamins were cheaper than GNC and have expiry dates of at least 1 year.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of our money around $75.98 for the items that were expiring in a few days. If no refund can be given, a replacement is also acceptable and shipped to the shipping address on the original order.

Review: False advertising and failure to stop e-mails as well as reply to e-mails accurately.Details:On May 26th I received an e-mail with the subject "Memorial day sale ends today" - Memorial day was May 27th - so they were trying to push a sale and end it the day prior.I contacted customer service via e-mail, and received a response that said it was a 'pre-memorial day sale' and I had read the subject wrong. I went back to the e-mail and confirmed I was correct and that [redacted], the customer service person who e-mailed me back, had lied. I requested to be removed from their e-mail solicitation list, and I was told I would be removed and the request may take 5 days to process.I requested a response to the fact that GNC was pushing a sale to end the day before it began and received no response. A couple days later I send another request. I get a reply from [redacted], a Senior Representative in Customer Servicee, that again ignores the fact of GNC's false advertising and promises to 'expedite' my request for removal - now 12 days after the initial response and 2 days after the promise of 'expedited response' I am still getting solititations. Not good for a company that wants me to put their producat in my body yet at the same time issues false advertising claims, lies in responding to my complaint and fails to follow-up as promised.Desired Settlement: At first I just wanted to stop getting e-mails, now I question the integrety of the company so I'd like to return my recent order, the unused portion, and get a full refund - I'd like the company to apologize for the false advertising and violations of the FTC laws and to stop getting e-mails from them or their marketing companies.
