Review: I have tried over and over again to get the company to cancel an ad I didn't want in the first place. At first when it was free I thought no problem then they said it was 60 per month I said no way its too much and out of line. They published an ad with incorrect old information I called to inform them that and to see that it was canceled again after I told them I would not pay for it. I have yet to get a call back and I email many times with the "cancel" I called them today and they got rude and wouldn't allow us to speak to their [redacted].Desired Settlement: Quit billing us and wipe out bill please!Thanks for your help - much appreciated!!!!!! :)

Review: A Representative from the General Yellow Pages has been harassing employees of our establishment for invoiced advertising services that were not requested nor authorized. The General Yellow Pages Representative claims they have invoices back to July 2011 which has gained $793.33 in interest for non payment. The so called "company" can never provide evidence as to who authorized the services nor can they provide evidence of any contract. They won't stop calling and they continue to send emails to our establishment.

In 2008, a similar scam issue was dealt with and a Revdex.com complaint was filed on [redacted] for the same type of harassing phone calls, faxes and emails. The company was placed on notice that legal action would result by our establishment if they would not stop harassing our employees and a Revdex.com complaint was filed, but we never did get any feed back from the filing. It took several phone calls and a significant amount of time to put a stop to them trying to scam our business establishment of thousands of dollars. Companies like these should not have the privilege of doing business in the USA.Desired Settlement: Our establishment requests that ALL communication from the generalyellowpages be stopped - phone calls, faxes & emails.

[redacted], at [redacted] agreed to a 90-Day trial listing promotional offer, and to our terms;

- No charges or obligations during the trial period.

- Accounts that are canceled during the trial period are not invoiced.

- Past the trial period; A 12-month listing cycle from July of one year, that is billed in July of the next;

- Any request to discontinue to take effect at the end of the ongoing listing cycle;

[redacted] paid for the initial year of service with their Check [redacted] as a result of the progression described above but failed to honor their payment obligations for subsequent years.

The contract provisions concerning ‘automatic renewal’ are published under the ‘terms of use’ on www.generalyellowpages.com and the procedures to rescind on authorization, cancel new services or discontinue ongoing services are items 12 and 13 respectively.

We sent the advertiser a Request To Discontinue (RTD) form from the very first time they requested it, they filed the complaint on hand in lieu of completing due process.

In essence, due process was never completed and the services have not been discontinued, even up to this point.

[redacted] depicted a scheme in her complaint that does not agree with the facts, as we do not make collection calls. Our only communications with the complainant has been where they called upon receiving their monthly statements.
