If I could give them zero stars I would but the yelp would not log it! Let me tell you their latest SCAM!!!!! The SCAMMERS of Georgia Natural Gas are using a new technique to scam customersMy contract was up so I called their competitor *** and was told the price per therm was cents per thermSo I called Georgia Natural Gas and told them if they priced matched I would stay with them since I have used them for years in my home and business Well let me tell you the bill came and it was double the price per therm to be exactWhen I called they said it could take months for the adjusted priceI told Susan the poor excuse of a manager and their Scam specialist that was not what Victor their prior scammer and said to meVictor the original scammer told me it would be adjusted in my bill; it would reflect the higher price until the computer adjusted the therm price but it would show the credit on the billWell guess what month later bill comes in and NO ADJUSTMENT not only was it not adjusted but it now reflected a higher therm then what the last bill said it was going up too

On various occasions I have paid my bill before the service was interrupted and my service was still disconnected days after I had already paidNot only is my service interrupted but I have to go without service for plus days and then have to pay $re connection feeFor example, I paid my bill on Friday 5/29/The bill was late and I was aware of thatHowever I had to wait until I got paid to payI paid online and have a confirmation#Tuesday when I got home from work my service was offA huge company like Georgia Natural Gas should be able to see the payment was made but I was told they cannot see the payment until it postsThat is very unfair to the consumer

My complaint is regarding the terrible customer service I receivedThe employee processing my request was incompetent and rude
My requests for an email confirmation of my service and for paperless billing were ignored even after repeated requestsI also asked to speak with someone about my current plan and to have information sent to me and I was told to go their websiteEveryone I spoke with both rude and imcompetent

I was lied to constantly about the transfer of my services from Gas South to Georgia Natural Gas
I received an email from Georgia natural gas on Dec 29, telling me that my services would be switched to their servicesOn Feb 27, 2017, my gas is disconnected so I call GNG as they inform me that my transfer was voided by Gas South because Gas South issued a service of disconnectionGas South repeatedly told me this is not trueI called Georgia Natural Gas a week before this happened and one of their employees told me that it was switched overGeorgia Natural Gas is the reason my Gas disconnected and won't take any responsibility

I moved into a rental home at *** on June 18thNatural gas service was turned on June 17thI received a gas bill from Georgia Natural Gas for $about weeks later$of that is the connection charge and the rest is for gas they said was usedI phoned to inquire about the high bill since the bill dates were only days worth of service and gas bills during this time of the year are normally no where near this amountThey put in a request for Atlanta Gas Lights to make sure there was not a leak on their end and to make sure their meter was functioning properlyThey determined there was not problem with their equipment and no leak on their sideTheir rep noted the meter was running as if something was on and using a great deal of gasSo they determined there was some sort of problem either on the premises/in the yard or inside the home

If it was possible to leave stars I would do it in a heartbeatHere's the rundownI live in a house in a decent neighborhood but I've been having issues with my mail since I've lived hereI don't know if someone is taking my mail or if the mail man just sucksEither way I've told Georgia Natural Gas from the very beginning that I want Paperless BillingApparently that never went throughI got tired of dealing with the is on the phone so I just paid it online whenever I would think about checking on itThe last time I called them about this problem was at the beginning of FebruaryThe chick on the phone said she'd take care of it since it wasn't switching onlineFast forward a month to today and my gas has been shut offThey never changed my billing plan over and then said that when I paid in Feb that was a past due amount...even though I told them I wanted to pay IN FULLSo now I have to pay almost $which includes a bunch of fees that I don't find fairThe biggest issue is I have to wait business days for them to come turn my gas back on! So no showers...no cooking...no problem, right? Oh I'm not doneSo when I told them that I called them a month ago they told me their system has no calls from me since July of last year! Which is 100% incorrect!!! She also told me I would be converted to some plan where I have to pay $per therm which is complete BS
I spoke with a supervisor and the only thing she could offer me was $back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell is that supposed to do for me?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?
I HATE THESE PEOPLEIf there are any other gas companies that you can go with, go with themDo not even hesitateGeorgia Natural Gas is a horrible company with horrible customer service! The moment I find out if I can switch to another company I will be leaving them

My main complaint is how long this company is leaving me without heat or hot water in degree weatherI missed one payment, since 2015, because, life happened, and I missed itI'm not upset about them cutting off the service, I get itI AM disappointed that they tried to reach me by calling an incorrect, out of service phone number, and sent letters to an incorrect addressI am not even upset about the additional $it cost me to reinstate my serviceI just would appreciate some kind of sense of urgency, when it is late fall, and you have removed someone's access to heat

My house is heated by gas It has been hot summer for a few months
Georgia Natural Gas is still charging me the similar amount as winter times
I need an explanation
