Glambot, for who those who aren't familiar, is an online company which sells high-end (from MAC to Armani) makeup which it buys secondhand from consumers. The products are "sanitized" and offered at sometimes deep discounts. This is a site I have enjoyed using, with a few glitches. I have bought and sold at Glambot. Founded in 2012 by Karen Horiuchi, the site currently has 21 complaints registered with the San Francisco better Business Bureau. As of today, it had mine, for a grand total of 22. On January 6, 2020, I shipped a large box of for sale items to Glambot. I used their prepaid shipping label. The parcel was delivered on January 9, 2020. After some time, and no offer (which has been prompt in the past,) I began to try to contact the company. I have emailed four times. I have used Facebook messenger. I tried the phone number listed on the BBB. (left a message.) No response. The package I sent was all Chanel, Armani and other high-end cosmetics. All in good-new condition. I get emails every day from this company asking me to buy their products. I know people complain about this company because of their low offers for merchandise. This is different. I filed with the BBB because they have my products, tracked to their address, using their label, and they have, in effect, stolen them. Seller Beware.

Our Sell Department has responded to this seller regarding their packageEvery seller has the option to reject Glambot's offer if and have it returned to them for the cost of shipping

this user sent an earlier correspondence that stated: "i should not have been able to tell you how many items I sent in because I sent so many I couldnt remember....I also noticed you guys didnt give me my too faced setting powder back either." From her communication, it's quite clear that she is unsure of what she sent in and is creating a "laundry list" of sorts, claiming different things are "missing." We've done all we can do to assist her

If the tracking shows arrival in San Francisco zip code 94103, it is at the San Francisco USPS Sorting Facility Our office is located at zip code Because of the nature of the prepaid label, the sorting facility takes time to process the charge to our accountBased on our experience, the local USPS Facility misplaces packages every so often and, unfortunately, there is nothing we are able to do about this

Hi, Based on the number of items you sent in and the offer you were sent, it's most likely that you either sent in brands that we don't accept (a list of accepted brands can be found here [redacted] that the items you sent in were not full sized (iesamples or set/gift items)We do give a general break down as to what number of items were accepted and not accepted But our current system does not send the potential seller an itemized list If you did wish to accept our offer, you have the option to not accept and either have your items recycled or sent back for the cost of shippingPlease let me know if there is anything else I can do to help!

I am rejecting this response because: Ive aready complained once before and they said the same exact thingI mailed items to them to sell and they sent me an extremely low offer so I declinedit took them ALMOST AN ENTIRE MONTH to get them back to mebut when I got it back, three items (MY items) were stolen from mea too faced setting powder, and two mac single pan eyeshadowstheir customer service is so unbelievably rude, they were telling me I "didnt look enough" for my itemslike what????? they would only be in the boxthey told me that "i never sent them in." even though I did because I remember and took pictures before mailingthis company is unprofessional, rude, and steals from their "customers." how dare you suggest that im lying Give me a refund for the amount of the items you took from me, which were two mac eyeshadow pans and a Too Faced setting powder

At the time this offer was sent, Glambot was not accepting certain brands in sell packagesSince that time, we have changed our brands list to include more brandsSell offers are for the entire package and non-qualifying items become the property of Glambot once an offer is acceptedThough we usually dispose of non-qualifying items, some are used to test out brand desirability on our siteWe receive a lot of the same products in from various sellers so any item listed on our site could be from any sellerAs for the offer given, the Seller (in this case, [redacted] ***) is totally free to reject Glambot's offer and have the items returned for the cost of shippingOur offers are calculated based on condition, age, use, and desirability of items sent inA low offer means that items may have been substantially used, in fair condition, old/dried out, or low desirabilityHope that clarifies things a bit!

Hi, I'm sorry you're confused as to our sell processWe tell sellers what types of products and brands we acceptWe have multiple reminders along the way as we don't want you to send in anything that does not qualify If you don't like our offer, you can rejectIt looks like you accepted our offer and was paid in cash Because you accepted our offer and cash payment, we cannot send your items back as they no longer belong to you Anything that does not qualify for acceptance is either recycled or used for promotion purposes as is said in our policies, which you agreed to upon accepting our offer
