Is there a Zero rating? There should be, I placed two orders with Glambot and received bot orders but two of the tiny lotion samples didn't even have lotion there full of water, no lotion just water, and the one eye pencil was cut in a third of a full size pencil to, I guess hide the fact that it had been used, I have not a big problem with used items because at my discretion I can either throw away or sanitize on my own I do have a problem with thief, they sent me three half empte sample perfumes, water filled sample bottle lotions, and they lots did not include what they said they would, total rip off? Not quite they do send you some fluffy stuff but over 70% of what you purchase is garbage or not a full order, they are thiefs.

Anyone who knows me, knows I have a lot of money invested in my clothing and makeup. I am complete appalled at some companies who offer to buy your items and decide how much they are willing to give you-especially since they only accept high dollars items. . I sent in 88 items to them (minimum must be 20 items) to include several brand new never used makeup items (hundreds of dollars worth). They have this wonderful tool on their website to see exactly how much you can earn by using them. My total listed according to their tool was anywhere from $88 to just under $500. My offer?...$129! They have the Kat von D Mi Vida Loca palette on their website sold out and sold for $156.75...I sent them a brand new hardly ever used one but my total offer for all items sent in was $129...Also, they refused four items. These four items were by the brands they ONLY accept but rejected them as "non-accepted type of product". I was very careful about everything I sent it to make sure it was approved. Glambot stated they received only 59 items so 29 items are uncounted for. Here is the conversation between me and Glambot:

Good morning, I received my sell back offer but would like to know what products were rejected and also a list of the prices you are giving me for the items you are offering to keep. When I put my items in under your How Much Can I Earn? Section, it was anywhere from $88 to just under $500. Since I sent in several basically brand new palettes and other items, I would like to have a list of the items and how much you are offering since I feel this offer is quite low considering the products that you received. Your assistance if greatly appreciated in this matter. Kindest regards, ~Cris Roness

Hi Cris
Our Sell Team considers several factors when pricing offers. These include, but are not limited to, brand, retail price, condition, level of use and current market demand. If you accept our offer, you can either choose cash payment via PayPal or earn 30% more by accepting with Glambucks store credit. If you decide to reject our offer, then we send all of your items back to you at the cost of return shipping. We don't have an itemized list of rejected items that you can see, as Glambot grows we intend to have that feature.
Best,
Zoe♥

Hi Zoe,
With all due respect, I understand how the pricing comes into play, but I would like a breakdown of the items so I can see exactly what was offered for each item.
Thank you for your assistance in this.
Kindest regards,
~Cris Roness

Hi,
At this time we do not hold an itemized list of sell offers. As Glambot grows, this and other new features will be available.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Best,
Doug

Good afternoon Doug,
Thank you for your reply.
Am I able to find out what items were rejected since I know that everything I sent in was an approved Brand so I am not sure why any of the items would have been rejected.
I will go ahead and accept my offer from Glambot as I sent in well over 50+ compared to your minimum of 20.
However, I certainly hope you do not have any underlying fees such as deducting the shipping out of my offer amount. I will be expecting a check for the amount of my offer.
Also, please note: since I sent in over several items valued at hundreds of dollars, I will not be referring anyone to Glambot and will be letting everyone know of my experience with the company. For example: You sold a Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca for $156.75 and are sold out of this product. The one I sent it was barely even used but my total offer for all my 50+ products is $129-meaning you will make quite a bit of money off my products.
I do not understand why a company who is in business to help the public along with making money can basically commit highway robbery. Every product you list on your website is just under the brand new selling price. I understand you have to make money but honestly, you are also screwing the people who send their products in. When I did my itemized listing of products I sent in off your website, it was anywhere from $88 to just under $500. Since every product I sent in was practically brand new (I do have a list of items sent in), I honestly feel you have screwed me. I was expecting closer to $300 according to your website.
As I stated, I will accept the offer only because I do not want the inconvenience of waiting for my products to arrive, taking pictures and selling them myself since you have already inconvenienced me regarding this matter.
But please note: I will not have anything good to state regarding Glambot and will deter people from using your company.
Sincerely,
~Cris Roness

Hi Cris,
I am unable to pull up that information but the sell offer notes show that 4 items were rejected due to "non-accepted type of product."
All payments are made via PayPal. Once your offer has been accepted please allow up to 24 hours for payment to be sent.
Best,
Doug

No explanation of my items and offer what so ever.
Take pictures of your items and sell them yourself on eBay! They have free listing, buyer pays shipping and you can actually get what your items are worth and keep the money. It can be time consuming taking pictures and posting but it will be worth it $$$ wise.

Just happened to me something like you described. I sent more than 40 products, 80% of them brand new, all from accepted brands and they are offering me $46 bucks or $35 fee for return them.

I think they will sell everything and make big bucks from my underpaid stuff.

UPDATE to this posting. I emailed Glambot letting them know my offer money was sent back to them via Paypal and to return all 88 of my products immediately. I have contacted the Revdex.com and my attorney. We are ready to process with legal action if my products are not returned by the end of the week.

Review: Glambot is a online gently used makeup site where people can buy and sell there makeup. Now I was a return custome and can say that I have made enough purchases that I can make a valid complaint about this company. They do not take actual pictures of the products they sell they put pictures of newer products and make it seam that the condition is better than it actual is. If you are purchasing something that is used you can expect it to looked somewhat used but, if they take a pictures of the item and it has the brushes and condition is good. Once it comes in the mail it is a mess and has no brushes and is dented and scratched! Nothing like it or even the color is different very miss leading to the customer. Now even a couple of times my packages were missing items and when you try to contact glambot there is no response AT ALL!! I have sent multiple email over a over and no response from them. I will no longer purchase from a company that dosent care about there customers and miss leading customers with these pictures. And there customer service is non exsitant!!Desired Settlement: I want them to have better customer service options besides email. And for them to a rural answer the email sent to them!!! They don't respond at all. And I want my refund for my items missed long in my orders!!!

Business

Response:

Customer is correct that we buy and sell pre-owned makeup. We use stock photos for our listings and make mention of this so it's known. We have fill and condition variants to help assist users in their purchasing decision. We don't see any outstanding customer service requests from this user so we suggest she try and contact us again. Thank you.

Review: So I found out that glambot lets you sell your makeup, so I sent a box of over 20 items. they sent me an offer of $28 and I rejected it. after I rejected it I would email them when itd be shipped back and they never responded. I had to keep emailing for a response. its passed a month since I shipped it in and I FINALLY get it back. but then to realize some of my items are missing. I contacted customer service and they basically blamed me, saying that "the items are no where" and that I HAD them. I told them that I did not. their customer service is rude, entitled, and still have not responded to my email about my items. they stole from me.Desired Settlement: I would like the amount of money I spent on the items sent back to me.

Business

Response:

Complaintant insists that a few items are missing from her the package we returned to her but our standard process is to keep all items in the original sender's box. When asked exactly how many and what items were sent in, she was not able to provide an exact answer so I am not sure how she is certain she sent those items in. I suggested that she double check her home to be sure since makeup items are typically small. We've done all we can do to accommodate her.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:Ive aready complained once before and they said the same exact thing. I mailed items to them to sell and they sent me an extremely low offer so I declined. it took them ALMOST AN ENTIRE MONTH to get them back to me. but when I got it back, three items (MY items) were stolen from me. a too faced setting powder, and two mac single pan eyeshadows. their customer service is so unbelievably rude, they were telling me I "didnt look enough" for my items. like what????? they would only be in the box. they told me that "i never sent them in." even though I did because I remember and took pictures before mailing. this company is unprofessional, rude, and steals from their "customers." how dare you suggest that im lying. Give me a refund for the amount of the 3 items you took from me, which were two mac eyeshadow pans and a Too Faced setting powder.

Business

Response:

this user sent an earlier correspondence that stated: "i should not have been able to tell you how many items I sent in because I sent so many I couldnt remember....I also noticed you guys didnt give me my too faced setting powder back either." From her communication, it's quite clear that she is unsure of what she sent in and is creating a "laundry list" of sorts, claiming different things are "missing." We've done all we can do to assist her.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:after that I actually found the setting powder. im 100% sure you guys stole my two eyeshadow pans :) it would be in my [redacted]. and you guys sent me someone elses lipstick, shows how organized you are! and you guys told me you sent it back in the same box but was repackaged in a bubble mailer.

Review: They claim if you send makeup with over half you can get up to 150..I sent 21 pieces of [redacted] Makeup and it was barely used. They offered me 40 bucks, when I said no they told me I had to pay for shipping it back which is the first I heard of this. I complained and the lady said I could pay with pay pal I told her I did not have an account and needed my invoice and no one has gotten back to me. From what I gave them looking at their website they stand to make over 200 and only offered me 40. Now I don't even know how to get my makeup back because all of a sudden they went from continuous email to ignoring me and I don't know how to pay( which I was not informed of) for the shipping so I can get my makeup back.Desired Settlement: I want my makeup returned to me and I don't want to have to pay for the shipping

Business

Response:

The items she sent in did not all qualify for our sell program according to the specifications listed on our site and reiterated to the seller throughout the sell process. All her items have been returned to her via USPS.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: They never even responded to this complain until I was forced to pay to have the items shipped back. According to the website and requirements for selling the makeup did qualify and if they didn't why was I offered money for them just a very very small amount compared to what they claim they would pay for so many pieces of qualifying makeup.

Business

Response:

this person's items did not all qualify for our sell program. she then rejected our offer and per the guidelines, need to pay for return shipping to have the items sent back to her. we cover the initial cost of incoming shipping.

Review: I ordered on March 30th, was given a shipping notice with tracking number on April 4th. After almost 3 weeks the tracking info still says my package has not been given to USPS. Why is my package just sitting around their office? I sent Glambot a message on their website and their Facebook page, no response.Desired Settlement: I'd like my order actually, physically shipped, please.

Business

Response:

This customer has already been refunded by us for a lost package by USPS. Our email correspondence reads "It seems like USPS has lost your package. We will be issuing a refund of $14.94. Please allow 5-10 business days for funds to be available."

Review: On December 1, I ordered an eyeshadow palette from this website, the only one of its kind listed, which had been marked down from $60 to just over $53. The site claimed that the order would be processed and shipped within 3-5 business days, but when I checked my emailed receipt over a week later, the order was still listed as "awaiting fulfillment". When I emailed them to express concern, they said the site was experiencing a high volume of orders due to the holidays so it would take round twice the typical number of business days to process: 7-10. Fair enough. I let it go, but when I checked the receipt again: "Awaiting Fulfillment". Frustrated, I went to the company's Facebook page and noticed that they'd been getting numerous complaints about the same issue, with customer service ranging from non-helpful to nonexistent. So I've spent the past several days more or less demanding that they refund my purchase so I can cut all ties with their service. No answer. None. They are literally ignoring me, and I've sent at least ten emails. I don't think I've ever been more frustrated with a company. Not upholding their half of the transaction, then responding by either ignoring the complaints or giving false promises, is completely unacceptable. Furthermore, there are theories floating round that their only valued customers are big-name beauty vloggers and bloggers (YouTube/ Instagram stars) who can bring them exposure. I'm a professional makeup artist with a decent portfolio, but I'm by no means a star.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: All I want is for Glambot to refund the $53.55 I paid for this product, and offer a SINCERE public apology to the people they hurt this holiday season because they couldn't be bothered to do their job. That'll be the end of it.

Business

Response:

We apologize for the delay! Due to a larger rush of orders than expected during our Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales we're experiencing a delay in order fulfillment. [redacted] has been fully refunded for this order and the product has still been shipped out with priority 2-day shipping, free of charge. We're truly sorry for any inconvenience or concern these delays may have caused.

Review: I have tired on 4 occasions to contact GLAMBOT and no one will return my emails I ordered 3 items three weeks ago and never received it I contacted my local post office and gave them the Tracking code that was emailed to me and they said that GLAMBOT created a shipping label but never sent it out and to seek further actions with them but they will not return my emails my Order #GLAM. Sold my makeup to them and they gave me a store creditDesired Settlement: Refund the items or ship it out I should be given something in return for all this hassle I'm being ripped off by GALMBOT

Business

Response:

Glambot received no emails from Rana regarding this issue to either [redacted] or [redacted]. We will be reaching out to her promptly regarding her order!

Review: I sold over 20 cosmetics items recently. The items included brands like [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] to name a few. I was offered a compensation of $36 (cash) or $44(store credit) for those items that are valued over $200 in their current condition. First, I refused and asked them to return it to me. They sent out an invoice of $14 to get my stuff (that's little less half of what they offered me), so I decided to accept the store credit cos it was still a better value. It was a complete rip-off. If that wasn't enough, out of the items I sent, glambot notified me that three brands are not accepted by them. These disqualified items as per their email were to be either recycled or disposed off but I see them selling those items on thier website. $453.40 is the total value of the items that I sent (based on the selling price off glambot). This total includes $171.60 that glambot will earn on selling the items they disqualified for which I didn't even receive a penny. They offered me 10% of the total value as compensation, without any explanation. I feel cheated, either I accept or pay them to give my stuff back.Desired Settlement: I would like a thorough explanation of the offer that was made. Unless, a satisfactory explanation is provided, they need to compensate me better for the qualifying items (preferably in cash). As for the disqualified items, they should compensate (cash only) me in its entire value (since they claimed it was being disposed off).

Business

Response:

At the time this offer was sent, Glambot was not accepting certain brands in sell packages. Since that time, we have changed our brands list to include more brands. Sell offers are for the entire package and non-qualifying items become the property of Glambot once an offer is accepted. Though we usually dispose of non-qualifying items, some are used to test out brand desirability on our site. We receive a lot of the same products in from various sellers so any item listed on our site could be from any seller. As for the offer given, the Seller (in this case, [redacted]) is totally free to reject Glambot's offer and have the items returned for the cost of shipping. Our offers are calculated based on condition, age, use, and desirability of items sent in. A low offer means that items may have been substantially used, in fair condition, old/dried out, or low desirability. Hope that clarifies things a bit!

Review: I ordered from this company for the first time 11/27. I got a shipping confirmation 12/2. It's now 12/11 and I have emailed many times for help and they just keep saying it's taking them longer to fulfill the order. No tracking is showing still. I have screen shots of many people having the same issue and conveniently they did an update for a 5$ restocking refund fee. All I want is my money back with no restocking fee. Every other business I ordered from sense this date had come already. I looked for a number and conveniently they don't answer. My order number is [redacted]. I have pictures of all my emails if needed my order was for $32.73.Desired Settlement: I would like my full refund of $32.73 with out their updated restocking fee that they conveniently added do to these issues. I also have pictures of this. If I would've know it would take this long and they would trap you for Christmas I never would've ordered. Please help me as the company is not helping me just giving excuses and now trapping people. Thank you

Business

Response:

[redacted] order was canceled and refunded per her request. We've been working hard to catch up after an unexpectedly large amount of orders over Black Friday / Cyber Monday. Because orders are being shipped outside the normal timeframe, our normal cancelation policy does not apply and we will gladly cancel orders per request.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: Glambot is a service that will purchase used makeup from individuals. You can send your makeup in, and they will give you a monetary offer. Based on that offer, you are allowed to accept or deny. If you deny, you can pay a shipping invoice and have your product returned to you. I denied their offer and paid the invoice over four weeks ago. I have not received my return nor have been able to contact the glambot team after several emails. Zero contact form them in over month.Desired Settlement: I would like a monetary return or a return of my products.

Business

Response:

Apologies for the delay on this package. It has been shipped back with tracking number [redacted]. USPS tracking shows delivered.Thanks.

Review: Glambot advertises that it pays cash for your gently used cosmetics. I sent a huge box of cosmetics in mid November that were received by Glambot on November 19. All items were on Glambots "approved" list and in like new condition. Glambot does not respond to my emails, and has not issued me my credit for the cosmetics. Tracking by the USPS indicates receipt by Glambot.Desired Settlement: I would like to have Glambot either return my cosmetics (at no cost to me) or pay me a fair price for them.

Business

Response:

The person who submitted the complaint has already been sent back her items. We currently do not have any unclaimed packages.

Review: I gave this company over $100 worth of products so they can sell them on their website, including a brand new beautyblender. [redacted] reached out to me and offered me $45 for my products. I told her that I need a better offer than that and she would get back to me. I have contacted her for a follow up multiple times between mid-September and today, and no response. I feel like they have stolen my goods and that this company is a fraud.Desired Settlement: Either pay me at least $75 via [redacted] for my items, or send back my items free of charge. I did my part, so I need glambot to do their part and stop ignoring me.

Business

Response:

Renee's package was shipped back to her with USPS tracking # [redacted]. Tracking shows delivered October 17th.

I finally got my items back. Never using this "company" again. #scam

Review: I ordered 3 lipsticks (and an eyeshadow palette, but that is irrelevant to my complaint) from Glambot on 12/1/2014 and received them within a few days. The 3 lipsticks were all obviously expired and unusable. I tried to get in contact with Glambot and it took about 3 days for them to respond to my complaint. I sent the expired products back to them on 12/17/2014 and have not heard back from the company regarding a refund. I know it is the holiday season but enough time has gone by and I should have received some notice about me getting a refund for products that shouldn't have been sold in the first place.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my money. No store credit, only a full refund.

Business

Response:

Customer has already been refunded in full for these items.

Review: I'm submitting this complaint on behalf of my daughter, who doesn't reside in the U.S. but would like to file a complaint regarding the dysfunctional operation of this business."On 10/21/15 I have submitted a payment of $64.62 USD to Glambot through [redacted] ([redacted]).Because of a technical error, though the business received my payment, my ordered was cancelled, and I am not going to receive the products which I paid for. Thus, I opened a dispute with [redacted] and also emailed Glambot numerous times asking for a refund. On 10/28/15 I was contacted by Meg from Glambot-'Thanks for your message! It appears an error occurred with [redacted] and your order was automatically canceled when our site did not register completed payment. We're very sorry for this inconvenience and will be happy to issue a full refund once the [redacted] dispute is closed and funds are no longer on hold.In the meantime, $5 Glambucks have been added to your account as a token of our apologies.' I've closed the dispute, as requested. However, I still have not received the refund or the $5 Glambucks. I've contacted Glambot several times, but received no answer. I would like to complain about:1.Glambot's horrible, practically non-existent customer service.2.The fact that the company received and kept the payment without delivering the goods.3.Not taking accountability.I am asking for the refund and compensation I was promised.[redacted] "Desired Settlement: The full refund and compensation I was promised

Business

Response:

Apologies for the delay! As a growing startup, we're doing our best to keep up with increased demand and are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Additionally, we're working to figure out why PayPal said payment was not completed (orders with incomplete payment are automatically canceled after a certain amount of time so that products are not held from other customers). [redacted]'s refund has been issued and $10 Glambucks credited to their account.

Review: I ordered two items on 12/4 and have yet to receive any information on shipping. This is an unacceptable amount of time. I would either like my order to be processed immediately or I would like a full refund, including the credit I received. Not responding to emails and shipping out weeks or months later is unprofessional and I will never shop here again.Desired Settlement: Order processed immediately OR refund immediately

Business

Response:

We apologize for the delay! Due to a larger rush of orders than expected during our Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales we're experiencing a bit of a delay in order fulfillment. [redacted]'s order was shipped yesterday with USPS tracking # [redacted]. Tracking information should update shortly.

Review: This company debited my account on November 30th, 2015 and I agreed (under the premise of my order) that shipping of my product would take 5-7 business days. After two weeks of waiting- keep in mind they have my money and are gaining interest on it this time- I e-mailed again, am told it would be 7-14 business days. As of today, it has been 19 "business" days and they will not even return an e-mail sent to them last week.

This is fraud, they have taken money from my account and my order hasn't even been fulfilled, much less shipped out. Cash was exchanged for goods and no goods have been received. I feel like at this point this is a scam.Desired Settlement: I would like my FULL refund (I believe no re-stocking fee should have to be paid since my order hasn't even begun to be sent out yet) within 5 business days, or the product delivered overnight free of charge.

Business

Response:

We're very sorry for any delays experienced due to an unexpectedly large amount of orders over Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We shipped this order out with free upgraded priority shipped and it was delivered Dec 21 ([redacted]).

Review: I sent a VERY generous makeup box to Glambot and accepted a $101 cash offer (I know my makeup was worth almost $325, but that's not the primary issue). I had received an email that my money was sent to my PayPal account. I checked, it wasn't there. I checked over and over again - nothing. I have sent numerous e-mails and called the number multiple times only to get voicemail and zero written response. Now, I am out an enormous amount of makeup AND the money I was promised.Desired Settlement: My desired resolution is the $101 sent to my [redacted] account immediately!

Business

Response:

[redacted]'s money was re-sent to her [redacted] account after the first payment did not go through.

Review: I was an old client from this company but only buying, never selling. As I had some makeup that I was t using and never had issues withthe quality offered by glambot, I decided to sell. I cleaned up mine and my mom's makeup drawers and we shipped over 5k in makeup/skin care. I kept every single receipt from usps but since they received the packages (in august) I never received any email. I keep emailing them but no reply was ever received. If I only knew, I would have kept my stuff. This company is legit a scam. Such a shame because I still have more stuff I planned on selling too.Desired Settlement: I would like to be paid! I shipped all my makeup that was in perfect condition but I got simply stolen since they kept my makeup and never sent me money
