Review: I sent a package of cosmetics to glambot on 9/15/2015 and have yet to receive payment for the items I sent. I've sent multiple emails with no response, as well as contacted them on social media with no resolution. I feel as though they have stolen from me and that's not okay.Desired Settlement: I would like my items sent back to me ASAP.

Business

Response:

We're very sorry this offer was delayed for such a long time! Our Sell Department has been rapidly expanding and it seems your package was mis-shelved. [redacted]'s offer has been emailed and, as a token of our apologies, $5 Glambucks have been added to herGlambot account. We would like [redacted] to know that we truly appreciate her continued support and business and very much regret this most recent experience. Our team will be working to prevent this from happening in the future. Thanks <3

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I appreciate the fact they emailed me back with an offer, but I don't trust that they will follow through and send back my items. I will not be satisfied until they do.

Review: I sent a package of around 65 items to Glambot. They received the package according to tracking on July 19th. I checked in with them and they told me that they received it on the 24th and that I would receive my offer for my products within 7 days from Glambot receiving my package. It is now August 6th and I haven't heard anything. I've tweeted multiple times, sent multiple [redacted] messages, called the phone number multiple times everyday, left tons of voicemails, and sent numerous emails. Nothing. They will not respond to me. My package is worth around $1200 and now I'm probably out all of that money! Glambot is a scam!!!Desired Settlement: I would like my fair offer for my products and I would like it in a timely manner.

Business

Response:

Glambot's standard processing time for sell packages is 5-10 business days once the package is released for pickup by USPS. Bethany was sent an offer, which was accepted and paid out, earlier today (within our regular time frame).

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: although I did finally receive my response, it was a complete rip off. I sent over $1200 of products to them and they gave me $220. Also, they sent me a tweet back that said 7 days. Nothing at all about business days and no way to reach their customer service but they responded to this within hours?

Review: I mailed 2 huge boxes of cosmetics around beginning of June. I checked tracking it said they both were received by Glambot. I spoke with some one at Glambot that said I would receive a fair offer in 3 days , I never did . That was almost 3 weeks ago. Since then they will not reply to any of my emails or get in contact with me. This is theft pretty much. I mailed in about $500 worth of cosmetics. I have pictures of the items sent in. I just want to be paid for the items I sent in. Unfortunately , they have done the same to my sister she mailed hers in around the same time as me. She will be filing a complaint as well. We are not rich and work very hard for our things. We would appreciate some customer service and to be paid.Desired Settlement: I just want to be paid for my stuff . Me and my sister both. We are so disappointed in this. My email is [redacted]My sister is h[redacted], but I'm sure she will file her own complaint. Thanks for your help.

submitted a complaint but as soon as I did the company Glambot contacted me and fixed my problem . So I no longer need your assistance . My name is [redacted]

Review: Sent in products to Glambot almost two months ago and received a ridiculously low offer for them , far below their estimate (I'd say around 5% of their value). Rejected the offer immediately and paid for return shipping of my items. Have not heard a peep from the company since then, and it has been over a month. Total scam and a waste of time with terrible customer service.Desired Settlement: Send me back the items I sent or make me a more reasonable offer for the products. Further, return my shipping costs because you did not hold up your end of the bargain.

Business

Response:

This seller's package has already been shipped back to the return address originally provided. ([redacted]). The shipping department has been asked to email the seller their tracking number as soon as possible. Thank you.

Review: I ordered products from this company, expecting it to arrive in about 5-10 business days as the site promises. It is now over a week since I ordered the items and I only just now got the tracking number for my order. This is after contacting them three times with little to no response. This company is not to be trusted and is dancing on the line between legitimate business and a con.Desired Settlement: A refund of my money and delivery of my items.

Business

Response:

we're already in contact with this customer and explained that fulfillment is currently behind but her order has already started fulfillment and will go out with this week's shipment.

Review: Hello, I mailed in my sell kit in and was delivered on August 25, 2015 and still have not received an offer.Desired Settlement: please have someone call me for a resolution

Business

Response:

This seller's offer has already been sent. The seller accepted and has been paid.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I placed a large order (200) with this company, but when I wanted to return items because I found out they do not give rewards over $100 orders, they totally stone-walled me. I feel I was entitled to a $30 bonus, but only received $15. So for $15, they gave me so much grief and lost a good customer. They would only partially answer an email. They never, ever sent me a return label. They would let days pass before responding. I finally realized this company is not reliable.

Review: I sent over $1500 worth of makeup to this company that purchases and resells makeup, online estimates for the items sent to the company ranged in a $400 resell value, I was offered $130 and declined the offer and requested that my products be sent back to me. I have attempted to contact the company for the past 5 days via telephone and email and have had zero response from anyone. I want my product returned.Desired Settlement: RETURN MY PRODUCTS

Business

Response:

We've already emailed this seller about their package. The seller has the option of accepting our re-evaluation of their product or of rejecting the offer, at which time he/she will be invoiced for the cost of shipping.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: THE AMOUNT OF TIME THAT HAS GONE BYE WHILE DEALING WITH THIS COMPLAINT IS MUCH LONGER THAN THE TWO WEEK WINDOW MENTIONED ON GLAMBOTS WEBSITE. I DID NOT ASK FOR A RE-EVALUATION OF MY PRODUCTS. IM NOT ACCEPTING THEIR EXTREMELY LOW OFFER AND I STILL AM WAITING FOR MY ITEMS TO BE RETURNED TO ME. I HAVE BEEN IGNORED FOR OVER THREE WEEKS BY THIS COMPANY, AND HAVE HEARD ZERO RESPONSE FROM THEM UNTIL THE Revdex.com SENDS THEM A COMPLAINT. AT THIS POINT THE ITEMS HAVE BEEN STOLEN FROM ME AND I FEEL THE POLICE AND FBI SHOULD BE INVLOUVED IN RAIDING THIS COMPANY AND SHUTTING IT DOWN, IT IS A SCAM. SHIPPING FOR MY ITEMS NEEDS TO BE PAID FOR BY GLAMBOT AT THIS POINT. I'VE HAVE GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND TO DO MY PART AND THIS COMPANY HAS FAILED 100%. OVER A DOZEN PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS HAVE BEEN IGNORED WHILE OVER $1500 WORTH OF MY PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN HELD HOSTAGE. $165 IS RIDICULOUS. PAYMENT FOR SHIPPING WILL BE PAID FOR BY GLAMBOT IN ORDER FOR THIS COMPLAINT TO BE DISMISSED.

Business

Response:

package has already been returned and shipped.

Review: On March 29th, I sent approximently $300.00 (retail, new) worth of makeup to Glambot to participate in their purchase program, where they purchase unused makeup. Since that time, I have not received a quote for these products, as promised via their website. Additionally, I have tried contacting them numerous times - specifically on the following dates:May 6, 2015May 7, 2015May 8, 2015May 12, 2015May 20, 2015June 26, 2015I have not received a response, except for the initial response on May 7th, asking me for the tracking number to the shipping label. I provided this tracking number, and have not heard from the company since that time.Desired Settlement: I would like one of two things to happen:1. A quote for the makeup that I sent, along with a payment for that makeup upon acceptance of the quote.2. Return of the items that I sent, if no monetary amounts are going to exchange hands.

Response:

Glambot issues prepaid shipping labels for those wishing to sell product to us. [redacted] requested a label which was assigned tracking number [redacted]. The USPS tracking data shows arrival at zip code [redacted], the location of a local USPS Sorting Facility. The label is addressed to Glambot at [redacted]nd the package has not yet been delivered to our zip code. Once this package does arrive to Glambot, an offer will be emailed to the Seller within 7-10 days.USPS Tracking: [redacted]

Review: About two and a half months ago I sent Glambot a box of about forty items roughly retailing $500-$700. My package had arrived about a week after I sent my items. After patiently waiting about a month I contacted glambot and even sent them my tracking number to get an update on my package. I spoke to a woman who said she would get back to me the next day. A month and a half later and countless emails and I have not heard a word. Extremely disappointed because I was so excited about this company.Desired Settlement: I would like to finally receive my offer from glambot as promised for my almost all new high end products.

Review: My package (which I received 5 weeks after placing the order) was not correct. Glambot sent me the wrong shade of lipstick and also the wrong shade of eyeshadow pigment.

I ordered a mac lipstick called "royal ball", but I received "free as a butterfly". The other product I ordered was a mac pigment called ROSE gold. I received a mac pigment called "rose".

This is not what I ordered and I want my money back for these two items. I assume you sent MY products to someone else.

The lipstick was 30,24 dollars, and the pigment was 23,31.Desired Settlement: I want my money back for these two items. I paid 30,24 for the lipstick and 23,31 for the pigment. I want my money back because I did not receive the products that I paid for.

I DO NOT want "glambucks" as a refund.

Business

Response:

We're very sorry to hear that a couple of the items in this order were incorrect. [redacted]'s payment method (credit card) has been refunded the amount paid for these two items (funds may take a few business days to process). We've also added $5 Glambucks to her account as a token of our apologies. For any future questions, concerns, or problems with an order, please email [redacted] and our Customer Service team will assist you as soon as possible! Thanks!

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

This is from a buyer's perspective: Terrible business practices! They are quick to take your money but extremely slow to fulfill your order. And we're not talking slow by a couple days' delay here, we're talking along the lines of 3 weeks to 1 month to receive the order! I have received overseas orders from 2nd world countries faster than Glambot has been able to even update a simple online order status notification. They are also extremely slow to the point of non-responsiveness when you request a refund for delayed orders. They will attempt to keep postponing your refund request so you basically cannot get a refund and then weeks later ship you the product anyway and now you are stuck dealing with their returns process for which they charge you a "restocking fee". "Customer service" takes up to 3-5 business days to respond to emails (seriously, what online company in this day and age takes an ENTIRE WEEK to respond to customer emails???) and there is no direct phone number to call. They have deleted numerous negative reviews of themselves from social media (so shady) all while continuing to draw people in w/ heavily advertised sales, resulting in even more orders that they are unable to fulfill. I understand that young businesses have growing pains, but it seems like Glambot is particularly failing to address their glaring faults by attempting to sweep everything under the rug and carrying on as if nothing is amiss. I absolutely do not recommend this business, but if you must patronize them, make sure you use Paypal and/or a credit card with a good chargeback tool so you can submit a dispute and get your money back in a reasonable time frame when the time comes.

Review: Gambot sells used makeup online at a lower price (sometimes) than buying new. I have made purchases from this company and on several occasions they have not included all of my items that I purchased through my [redacted] account. When I contacted them about it each time they told me that I was "abusing the platforms". They post pictures of their products that they are advertising to sell however the pictures are not "true" to the condition of their items. A lot of the makeup I bought from them was old and stinky makeup that I can not wear! It is not useable and when I notified Glambot about this on several of my orders, all they sent me was a response that I was "abusing the platforms". This is not acceptable because they were quick to take my money from my account but when they are notified of these discrepancies in my orders they do not take care of their loyal customers! I am very upset with this company because I feel like they stole my money when they knowingly sold me old and stinky and sometimes cracked/scratched makeup! They should not be able to sell this kind of thing and get away with sometimes not even completing the order and still charge the customer for the items that I never received! They took my money immediately from my account and I am still here never receiving some of my items! People need to be aware of what this company is doing because it's not right!!Desired Settlement: I want my [redacted] account refunded for the items that I never received and also for the items that were not usable because they are too old and stinky.

3. #[redacted] Shimmer Brick Compact Apricot [redacted] $44.55 (Many more items to list)

Review: I sent a total of 36 quality items to glambot to sell. The brands I sent were Bobbi Brown, MAC, Lipstick Queen, IT Cosmetics, Urban Decay, Smashbox, NARS, etc. The items all together retailed around $430. I am aware that the products depreciates in value if its been used, but I at least expected a offer of $200. 2 of the items had never even been opened or used. I sent 6 swatched lipstick queen lipsticks that had only been swatched. As you may know, those lipsticks are $50 EACH. The 7th lipstick queen lipstick was unused and unopened. I received an email with an offer of $77. Which begs the question, are you going to sell my items at the same price you paid for them? Because if you are not, that would mean you are intentionally cheating your customers for your own gain. And that not fair. Please take into consideration that your customers have spent their money on the products. I am aware I wouldn't see the FULL return on these items but I wouldn't like to be cheated.Desired Settlement: I would like for someone to explain how the figure of $77 came about and an answer as to what you will be selling the items for.

Business

Response:

Our Sell Department has responded to this seller regarding their package. Every seller has the option to reject Glambot's offer if and have it returned to them for the cost of shipping.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I asked for an explanation of why my offer was so low. I'm well aware of your policy.. I'm simply asking for an explanation.

Review: I mailed my box of cosmetics on 6/12/15 to Glambot (I have the receipt). Tracking shows that they received the package on 6/17/15. I emailed them asking where my package whereabout on 6/29/15 and a rep named "[redacted]" claimed that the package is still at USPS sorting facility. I gave it some time, but that was my last reply from them. I did my research online and realized that I'm not the only one having this type of problems with Glambot. People tend to have problem contacting their customer service, since it is pretty unreliable. I continue to email them several times more (7/15 & 7/21) with no reply. I tried to find a number to call them on their website and that is not available. I did not send my products to them as charity or donation. Also, their excuse on how the USPS still have not release MY package after almost 2 months are not acceptable. This business should know better on to handle their job. Even if they don't mean any harm, their customer service need major improvement. I'm really sick and tired waiting around for them. I work hard to pay for all the things I sent you!Desired Settlement: I would like my items to be return to me on their expense. I would like Revdex.com to look into this business more. There are many complaints on them all over the internet and this need to be handle more serious.

Business

Response:

Glambot has not received a package from [redacted] (we identify packages for sale by email address). We're very sorry to hear a package was sent and has gone missing. We recommend contacting USPS to submit a claim for a lost package.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:On June 29th you emailed me and stated that the package is still at USPS sorting facility in San Francisco, but yet it showed “delivered” on my receipt from that moment on. How can it be a package that shows "delivered" is suddenly claimed missing now? You are not replying to ANY of my messages since then either. Also, how is it so many packages from different people just suddenly gone missing? Even if I contacted USPS, there is nothing they can do when the tracking shows “delivered”. I ship my box to the address based on the label I printed off of your website! How can you easily tell me to contact USPS and not taking any responsible?Never in my life been treated by a business like this.

Business

Response:

If the tracking shows arrival in San Francisco zip code 94103, it is at the San Francisco USPS Sorting Facility. Our office is located at zip code 94114. Because of the nature of the prepaid label, the sorting facility takes time to process the charge to our account. Based on our experience, the local USPS Facility misplaces packages every so often and, unfortunately, there is nothing we are able to do about this.

Review: They get you to send in cosmetics and promise to pay you for them. I have sent them several items ( boxes of makeup). They have acknowledged receiving them through email. They have not responded since. They have not paid me for my services or products sent. Someone needs to look into why this company is ripping us off for our cosmetics. I am so upset, I dont know what else to do. I have sent over 10 emails with no reply and no one seems to want to help.Desired Settlement: I would like my money for my cosmetics received . Please help.

Business

Response:

We have been in contact with [redacted] regularly over the past week or so regarding the items she sent in to sell. Today she was given a cash offer which was accepted and paid out.
