The representative that did contact me had no idea that when I initially attempted to seek service which made me "scratch my head". I am rejecting this response because:
The company (Global Discovery) does not address my complaint which is that the availability of properties are grossly overstated during their sales presentations. Their response to my complaint simply states their policy about membership. In one paragraph, they try to address the availability issue but their response is a general one that is so vague and legally correct that it is difficult to say the company does anything wrong. Here are their words: "requests are fulfilled on a first-come first-serve basis. While every
attempt is made to fulfill a request as specified, not all areas are available.". Yes, legally correct but I have never seen any other place in Europe than a few places (less than 6 in total) in Italy and Ireland. Even in CA (US), they advertise numerous weeks but when clicking on the locations, it turns out that those are many different weeks in just one or two properties they deal with. I repeat my main complaint: Grossly overstatement of available properties and choices during the sales presentation; basically false advertising.

I am rejecting this response because:Please read the attachment that I sent to you, which explains my issues with your company in full.....all of my complaint could not fit into the Revdex.com's space for the complaint.  We did call to put in a request in December of 2014, where we spoke with an online sales rep who told us that there are no available spaces for the summer of 2015 for Myrtle Beach, FL that would not require 2 stars.  We were told at the [redacted]e of signing the contract that we could vacation in Myrtle Beach, FL during the summer and that 2 star weeks do not block up months of [redacted]e....only certain weeks here and there would require 2 stars, but months were not blocked off like that.    When we called to put our request in we were completely blind sided, the sales rep said that Myrtle Beach, FL requires 2 stars to vacation in for the summer.  WE WERE LIED TO ABOUT WHAT OUR CONTRACT WOULD ALLOW US TO DO, for this reason our contract is not valid.  But this is only one of our 4 complaints, about why our contract does not stand up to their promises....PLEASE READ OUR ATTACH LETTER FOR THE FULL STORY!

 I didn't get a message from them.  There has been a gentleman named Brad that is trying to call me, and I've called him back,2 x"s  and have left messages both times.  He has not called me back.  I'm sure that we can get resolved if he would call me.  I am moving over the weekend but will have the same phone numbers and email address. New address:  [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:     -    I couldn't use or try to use the program within 3 days of purchase.I tried to use it last summer and just recently -  I didn't try to book anything online or put in a request.   I actually called and spoke to agents to see what was available -  I spoke to agent with trying to book airfare and even though I was told that they could get me the cheapest rate; they didn't.   What they quoted me was over $100 more than what I actually saw online, so I ended up booking the flights myself. And as far as resorts, again spoke to agents about availability and was told they couldn't help.    Did searches on-line for the state I was looking for and nothing ever came up -  how can I put in a request when there is no resort to request??    I was looking for [redacted] and [redacted] - both have tons of timeshare properties.   I also did search and try to reach out to someone regarding canceling my membership but couldn't find anyone to talk to.   The customer service team couldn't get me to anyone......The presentation was misleading, I know I shouldn't have believed them and shouldn't have purchased.   But what they advertise is not what I am receiving -  if they lived up to the airfare claim, maybe I could believe some - but they couldn't do that.    I would just like to be out of this contract -

A personal call from a higher up within the Global corporation suggests that they were not aware of how I was being treated but suggested significant concern. I feel that they have made every effort to accommodate the inconvenience that our family endured. I hope that the effort that was implied to make the system better was sincere.
