I am rejecting this response because:I am not sure of my acceptance with the response will close the Revdex.com file.  I prefer o keep the file open while we work through this.  The company advised I only paid a small portion of what I paid.  I am working with my bank to pull all documents as to what payments I made.  I have requested cancelled checks, etc.  It sounds like we may have been sending the payment to the correct company and address, but to the wrong account number.  This matter will take some time to investigate.  This being said, the company was going to get back in touch with me when the supervisor returned from sick leave.  I have not heard anything yet, but I am not interested in closing this file until I see where my payments went. Thank you!

I am rejecting this response because:I received a voicemail from him at 1917 on 17 April.  At 1955 that evening, I left a 60 second message asking for a callback.  At 1430 on 18 April, I left another message asking for a callback.  That call was 49 seconds long.at 1323 on 19 April, I left a third message asking for a callback.  That message was 31 seconds long.  When I call, it goes to a voicemail answered by this party.  My voicemails said I am very interested in seeking a resolution.  His initial call to me, which I have on recording, says that he may have a solution that makes me happy.  It was for that reason that I have been actively calling him.  I am happy to send recordings and screenshots proving the calls, or even Verizon phone records to prove he called once and I call three times at the times I stated.   Note that he called me outside his stated duty hours.

I am rejecting this response because: I tried to make reservations but they didn't have what I wanted nor did they have anyplace remotely.c Lose to where I was going and I had to go on their dates sunday to sunday and I wanted wednesday to wednesday, so they will only give me a room fir half if my vacation, there are way too many restrictions with this company and very strict on their rules and so I will never be able to go on a vacation when and where I want to go which they promised over and over again that we could go anywhere we wanted as long as it was available, San Diego is one place we wanted to go and of course the. Lowest place was 2 and a half hours away from my son stationed in the navy. I tried to cancel and was unable to due to them not answering their phones, which I'm sure they do that on purpose so no one can cancel and everyone gets suckered into this program pretty sad business that they are robbing people.Regards

Thank you for the follow up letter from Mrs. [redacted] and the
opportunity to respond.
 
To reiterate Mrs. [redacted] has not attempted to utilize her
membership. As stated in Mrs. [redacted]’s membership material, requests are
accepted up to one year in advance and require a minimum of 60 days (value
season) or 120 days (peak season) notice. Further travel accommodations cannot
be searched without a reservation request.
 
At this time Global Connections does not agree with Mrs.
[redacted]’s request to cancel and refund. To date Mrs. [redacted] has not submitted a
request to travel. If Mrs. [redacted] has any questions she may contact me directly
at ###-###-####, Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm CST. I would be more than happy to
assist her with booking.

I am rejecting this response because:Their response is ridiculous. They keep avoiding the actual issue. Submitting a vacation request is kind of the last option one thinks of when one attends the sales seminars. At the sales seminars, it is advertised that there is so much choice, both in the 60-day category as well as the year-in-advance category that it is never necessary to submit a vacation request. As stated in my previous complaints, I have tried to book many vacations and have given my family members the same opportunity but none of us has been able to find any options that worked and in the meantime, we have booked several cruises and numerous vacations and trips. That should indicate how terrible the choices are that are offered. That is my main complaint: completely misleading advertisement during the sales presentation - way overstatement of the available options.However, simply to satisfy their request, I will submit a vacation request soon. I assume/hope that they will find me a good deal so they can close this complaint because they will have fulfilled their obligation, but at least I will have had one reasonable trip for my $8,000 or so. I am still requesting a full refund, or at least a partial refund of the membership amount I paid. Therefore, as of right now, my complaint still stands and do not accept their explanation.

become a member of Global Connections.  I am complaining because his company promised incentives to us if we agreed to listen to their sales pitch.  However, the incentives were not what they were supposed to be.  The company misled us.  We were told that Global Connections had their corporate offices in Kansas and they are a travel club.  I believe I have the correct company.  I have a business card from the site where we attended the info session.........Proud Distributor of Global Connections, [redacted] - office: ###-###-####, toll free: ###-###-####.  Please advise.  Thank you.
