Review: Inaccurate and incomplete information is posted about me on the Find the Best website. Review: I have filed a police report because this company has listed my name, employer and salary information without my permission. I have asked them to remove since September 2013 when I noticed the posting. This company if legitimate would have a phone number. I put someone in prison for identity theft and he is out now. He will be able to find me, and companies like this are the cause. Companies like this are assisting those stealing identities. I had to also file a cyber crime division of the FBI, due to my identity theft. This must be removed immediately. This email is being copied for my files. Here is the police report number: report-[redacted]2404-0 Sacramento Police Department. I also filed a cyber crime report with the FBI. IC3 Government Complaint #1[redacted]058611. I am hopeful with your help, they will comply. I am in fear of being found by this criminal. The information is on Find the Data, and Find the Best--on their website. http://[redacted]-D-AngeliqueDesired Settlement: Remove all listings IMMEDIATELY, please.

Review: FindTheBest via their product FindTheCompany has listed our company related information without our permission or consent. During a call with them, we clearly requested them to remove all details about our company including website, phone number and address. They have not complied. Due to their transgression, we are constantly receiving spam emails, phone calls and texts, which affects the productivity of our personnel. This costs us time and money and thus affects our business. This is a clear violation of our privacy and we intend to pursue charges if not rectified.Desired Settlement: Remove our company name, phone number, address and all details about our company from your database and website. We don't want to see you repost anything down the line on your website. Don't share our data with your affiliates even if you have removed it from your database and website.

Hi,

Review: Dear Revdex.com,My information is published here without my consent: http://listings.findthecompany.com/l/[redacted]/Altura-Consulting-Group-LLC-in-P... have written to FindTheCompany and filled out an online request to remove my company's information. It has been over 2 months and has still not been removed, with general information given that they source the information from Dun&Bradstreet. After checking with Dun&Bradstreet, Dun&Bradstreet themselves have pulled my information, however it is still posted on FindTheCompany. I am requesting FindTheCompany to remove my listing from their website. This particular listing has published estimated annual revenue posted to the whole world without my consent, publication, or authorization. Since they don't response to my request, I am asking the Revdex.com to help. Sincerely, [redacted]Desired Settlement: Remove my company's information on estimated annual revenue. This has not been released or verified, and I have never authorized posting of this information.

Response:

Dear Ms. [redacted],

Review: I discovered FindTheBest.com published my name, home address, and home phone number publicly to their site when I googled my name. Im not a business; Im a private individual, and this is incredibly violating. To remove a listing from FindTheBest, their website instructs you to contact a company called Dun and Bradstreet at ###-###-#### during business hours. It is ludicrous that I need to call a company during their business hours to remove my private data from being posted publicly at their leisure. I should be able to immediately remove it via the website. Again, I am not a businessthis is my personal information.Desired Settlement: I want my data removed immediately and permanently and for FindTheBest to offer immediate removal of links and information easy for individuals to locate and allow anyone wanting links associated with their names removed without this request having to be approved by the company. This company is basically for identity theft.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10834806, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Thank you for assisting me with regards to having the inaccurate information about me possessing a computer business removed from FindTheCompany.com’s web site. I contacted Dun and Bradstreet to have them remove this information from their database as well. I was assured by the company that this would take place.Unfortunately, they were unable or unwilling to provide me with information as to how they received this inaccurate information so I can stop this violation. I have been receiving mail regarding this computer company also.I would appreciate any assistance your company can provide. Thank you once again for your assistance.

I am rejecting this response because: I was aware that Dun and Bradstreet had also created a listing for my previous business (they also did it without my knowledge and permission). I already filed a complaint against Dun and Bradstreet and they stated to me through the Revdex.com that they DID remove it from their database.

Hi [redacted],

Review: FindTheBest.com has published my personal information on their website without my knowledge or consent. I understand that this information is technically within the public domain; however, I would like FindTheBest.com to remove my information from their website as it compromises my privacy and because it can be used for malicious purposes. I have tried to contact FindTheBest.com on numerous occasions and in a variety of ways in an attempt to resolve this matter without the Revdex.com's intervention. After calling the phone number listed for FindTheBest.com, I was told by a recording to direct all inquiries online and to submit a form; the call then went straight to voicemail. My calls were not returned even after leaving 2 messages. I went online and submitted a listing removal request as was suggested by the recording. Shortly afterward, I received a "confirmation email" that stated that in order to remove the listing I needed to know where the data came from. The message continues with "If you need help finding the source of the information or are unsure if your listing can be removed, please respond to this email and a customer service agent will reach out to you. If we do not hear back from you in 4 days we will consider the your issue resolved and we will close your request."I have since sent them three follow-up emails telling them that I understand where the data came from and that I would still like FindTheBest.com to remove my information. As of the time of this writing, I have yet to receive even a non-automated acknowledgement of my removal request.Desired Settlement: I would like FindTheBest.com to remove the link to the listing in question from all search engines. Furthermore, I request that FindTheBest.com completely remove my entry in their database along with all of my sensitive and personally identifiable information.

Response:

Thank you for contacting us. We have manually deleted your listing from our site, but we want to make sure you understand that this may only be a temporary solution. As the data in this comparison is sourced from a 3rd party site, this will not effectively remove you from their database. As a result, your listing could be re-inserted into our system next time we update.

Review: www.findthebest.com, Inc. has a web page on the internet about me without my permission, http://financial-advisors.findthebest.com/l/74723/[redacted].

They are showing information that never existed, incomplete information and excess information.

I clicked the appropriate buttons via their webpage to delete my information more than one time this year and yet the web page is still there.

If they are publishing incorrect information about me to the public, how can the public trust any of their content?Desired Settlement: To delete my information.

Any information shown here; http://listings.findthecompany.com/l/17301675/[redacted]-in-Chandler-AZ - is listing my personal information and I would like it removed. Review: I am displayed on FindTheBest.com as an airman/pilot with 4.3 stars of 5 with a total of 6 reviews, but only 5 reviews displayed. I am not, nor have I ever been a company or business, I am just a pilot. Thewebsite shows a total of 6 reviews but only 5 actually show up. Where is the 6th review that is 1 star bringing my rating down? I am not a business but this is damaging to my reputation. By displaying that I have been rated bad, future employers may not hire me. If FindTheBest.com is going to post me as a business with a bad review of 1 star, I have every right to see who that rating is from and why I deserved it.Desired Settlement: I would like my name and info deleted off this website.
