Review: Findthebest.com has published false information about me. They identify me as being a business. In fact, I am a private individual. I do NOT own a business, I am NOT an entrepreneur. Nevertheless, they published my home address and phone number, representing these as being a firm. I immediately went to their website to remove the false information. However, after signing into their website and obtaining a password, it turns out that I cannot log in. In other words, their website refuses to accept the password. This makes it impossible for me to edit out the false information. I attempted to edit out the false information without logging in, but in this instance the result is an "Error on Page" message. In other words, their system is configured to prevent people from removing any false information. Incidentally, this is not the first time that this has happened. I had the same problem last December, but in the previous instance, it was possible to remove the false information.Desired Settlement: Findthebest must immediately delete the false information. They have received my information from Dunn and Bradstreet, and Dunn and Bradstreet have already removed my information. This is a rather unscrupulous tactic of buying information and publishing it without doing the work of establishing if an entity is a business, when in fact they are not. If you believe your information falls into one of these categories please submit a request with the title Opt Out Qualifications. My situation falls into one of those exceptions and have communicated this information in every request at least 50 times to remove my information from their website yet they refuse to do so. These scammers have listed my name incorrectly and also the information attached to my name is incorrect. Findthebest.com / mooseroots.com are liars, scammers and identity thieves. There is no public database that is exposing my personal information as my records have been blocked due to my situation. I am registered with my state attorney general as a victim of stalking and harassment. I have sent these scammers at least 50 requests with each link that shows the information attached to my name within the last year requesting to remove my personal info from their website. Within 1-2 weeks they remove it, then it's right back in their system again within a week after being removed. These people make it nearly impossible to remove your info.
