Order a king size mattress and box springs Said it would come out of Lexington ky paid around cash and rest on their credit line , which they ran two times without my permission , charged me deliver fee never heard anything back for a week , called and never called back , finally days later they said it’s too far they don’t deliver across the bridge to Indiana , why charge me dollars then ?

I purchased a dinnett set from the store and when it was delivered the chair was damaged and the table had minor damagesI contact the store immediately the same day it was delivered and explained to them the issueThe rep could not get the item replace until two weeks laterWhen they finally brought out a replacement chair, It too was damagedI refused the item and headed down to the store of purchaseI have pictures of both the damaged chairsI spoke with the manage Ms [redacted] who I requested a refund from, she asked if I would accept a different dinnett set insteadI agreed and picked out another set with one of her sales teamHe wrote it up weeks ago and I’ve been following up every week with visits back to the store and constantly been told they are working on it This is unacceptable being that the set came damaged and we agreed on a resolutionStill waiting for an updateNothing has been updated

On Monday August my wife and I stopped by the Ashley Store, to check out their Bedroom outfits, because we are wanting a new oneAfter several hours of looking around the store, we made a decision and purchased a very nice looking and somewhat expensive outfitIt was getting late and the store was prepairing to close so the sales department was trying to rush the processThey were somewhat friendly but at the sametime rushingThe next August my wife was doing some research and discovered the very same outfit at two other stores cheaperAs much as $2,cheeperSo we called Ashley and ask why the exact outfit same item numbers etc could be that much cheeper in a store not owned and operated by AshleyThe Sales rep made mention of price matching and if we could provide an itemized list they would match the pricethat afternoon I emailed them that list only to be told it could not be matched So we decided to cancel that order and take our business to elsewhere for a

Purchased furniture and items delivered were not same quality as in store and took an excessive amount of time to deliver furniture Purchased extended protection plan and was told it would cover anything except pet damageJust over a year and the swivel base of a recliner we purchased is broken and customer service said that it isn't covered Have full coverage and they refuse to repair or replace the chair according to the extended warranty we purchased

On March 24th we purchased a $2,leather sofa and love seat from Ashley Furniture Store ( [redacted] )We were told we had to wait until April 18th for delivery to which we agreedBecause we were in such need we went back into the store the 1st week of April and asked if there was any way we could get delivery soonerWe were told by the customer service manager that the salesperson should have checked to see if there was a possibility that another warehouse had the item by putting in a ticketShe promised to do that and call us back within hoursTwenty four hours later we received a call from the Customer Service Manager telling us that it was not possible to get an earlier delivery Fast forward to April 18th this weekWe took delivery on April 18th as we were toldWhile the truck was here we noticed a few nicks and one of the sofa pillows looked a little wornIt was called in and noted to the warehouseThey said they would take care of itI was also

Refund for bed rails as promised by Ashley's Customer Service manager I paid in full for purchase in May Product delivery was scheduled and cancelled at least times prior to me ultimately getting the bed rails in early to mid July After being scheduled and cancelled times, Ashley delivered my furniture and loaned me "temporary rails" They then scheduled and cancelled twice the delivery of permanent rails Due to the aggravation of coming into the store on occasions and coordinating to be off work only to tell my employer, they cancelled so I will not be off work; the Customer Service manager said she would refund the cost of the rails to my account It was never done I went into the store a 3rd time, traveling from Pleasure Ridge, and no one could assist me I tried to call their store for an entire week and no one answers the phone Totally fed up and the business relationship cannot be salvaged

My experience in the show room was “good”The saleswoman that helped me was delightful and is definitely a great fit for the storeShe was helpful and seemed to do everything she could to make sure I was happy and well looked afterThe “problem” arose after I left the store, having placed my orderI got online a little later to show a friend the furniture I picked out and behold! Price differences close to $per unit! I call the store back immediately to see if they can fix thisI’m told I will hear back next dayNever get a callFinally two days later I call them, per their request I send them links to online prices and tell them if they can’t match price I will cancel order and place order onlineThey assure me they will fix it, no worriesHere I am almost a week later and my bank account shows a $reimbursementNot even close Ashley FurnitureI’m done with youIf their service group and prices weren’t totally out of whack this could have easily been a five star review, instead you are receiving three starsUpdate: Received a message from an unnamed person (manager, customer service?), requesting my contact information so they can do something to take the bad taste out of my mouthI promptly responded to their provided email address with the contact info that they requestedGuess what, we are now at or beyond a week since the last correspondence and I haven't heard from anybody on behalf of AshleyNow you have really put a bad taste in my mouthWhy is your company the absolute worst at following through with your customers?! I bought furniture and a protection plan in 2011. Protection plan was for 5 years .I was explained if I didn't use I can get I credit $269.90 (cost it) when to the store 05\/19/16 to get it. I was told I have to spend $500.00 or more in the store, I store will be apply the $269.90 credit towards the purchases. I send email with my complaint to the corporate office and I was contacted for a representative who explained to me back in 2011 was I different police, she offered to buy any furniture and I have to buy again the protection plan for $99.00 in order to get my credit back. The total plan is a ripoff and the intention is people's will not remember after 5 years to claim the money

So I say okay Then I get a call on 11/and am told that my furniture is on back-order, and cannot be delivered now until 12/- over months from date of purchase! This time I am offered a refund of the $delivery fee for my inconvenience (which I still have not received) So delivery is scheduled for 12/ I call the Ashley Store

We purchased a chest and a recliner on December 18, We were originally supposed to receive on December 31, and that was pushed to January 3, On January 3, the chest was delivered but the recliner was notI called and was told that it was a floor model and that they would need to transfer to warehouseWe were then told that it would be delivered January 5, but I was in hospital having c section and we never heard from Ashley furnitureWe called when I got out of hospital to be told that it would be delivered today, January 12, I confirmed the delivery to be between 11am-2pmI received a call yesterday, January 11,from delivery driver stating they had cancellations and would be here between 9:30-10amI told the driver that we had to take our newborn to doctor and was leaving the house at 9:50amI waited until 10am and they never showedI called the store back to ask where my recliner was and was told that it was cancelled at 10:18am this morningS

We have been mislead multiple times now about the time until deliveryUpon looking for a new couch, we were verbally promised delivery in 2-weeksOnly after signing the paperwork were we told it would weeksThen the day prior to the week scheduled delivery they called and said it would be another weeksThey were very hard reach on the phone to even get an explaination for the delayed (yet again) deliveryNot only were they unapologetic, but they became short with us on the phone after we expressed a complaint about feeling lied toWe will NOT be buying any furniture from them again

I bought a couch from Ashley and was promised a delivery date of 02/I was then informed my couch was on back order even though when I ordered I had them check as I have heard this is a problem with AshleyAfter complaining, I received a call that my couch would my delivered today, 02/The couch came today, however we are missing a pieceWe have been told the additional piece wont arrive until 03/This is not acceptable!

I brought several thousands dollars worth of furniture The salesperson informed me that if I brought the extended warranty that any accidents that happens to the furniture would be covered One of the dinning room chairs legs broke When I tried to get it replaced or fixed, the Ashley furniture staff told me that the frame on the chair was not covered I told them that when the furniture was sold to me that the sales person made it clear that it would be covered They would not give me back the money that I paid for the insurance, or replace the chair or give me a discount to purchase another chair The mangers and sales person are running a scam by getting people to purchase the extended warranty under pretense I do not plan to buy anything else from Ashley furniture They do not stand behind their products and after they get your money they do not care if the customer is satisfied

I’ve been lied to from the time I made the purchase Delivery was supposed to be 1/25/- $in bedroom furniture Delivery person called to tell me the bed was not on the truck and I could call to find out the status of when that will be delivered Was told 1/25/that it was “in transit” to the warehouse that day and I could pick it up at the warehouse that night or have it delivered the following week I set it up to be delivered 1/29/- nobody showed up, nobody called, nothing I called again for information and was told it is “in transit” to the warehouse I asked to have a manager call me NOBODY called me My husband called that morning and was told “in transit” to the warehouse and requested a manager call him at NOBODY called him I called again and this time I’m told the bed is on backorder So, I called her out on the lies and deception from their store My husband called and actually talked to a manager who said it would be delivered 1/31/ On 1/30/I received a call saying they had to change my delivery and I flat out said no Either you deliver on 1/31/or I’m returning the whole order NO DELIVERY on 1/31/ Memphis call center supervisor informed me that I would not get the delivery until 2/8/at which point I told him it would not even take place I will be returning everything to the store and their lack of honesty and integrity is the reason Supervisor for the Memphis call center blamed the store Store blames Memphis From the point of sale I’ve been lied to

Ordered a kitchen table set on 8-15- Was told it would be in stock within 2-weeks Called once after weeks to check status and was told it was being delivered on 9-20- Only received the kitchen chairs on that date with no table Called to find out status on the table only to find out table is not available till November I was lied to during purchase that table was readily available I am now making payments on an expensive kitchen table with no table I came to your store not because it was the cheapest because your clearly not cheap We expected a quality experience and Service as expected with the prices that are charged but have been let down

Honestly, at this point I do not feel that this particular business nor the business that provides their warranties even earn the one star The sales representatives convinced us to take out a warranty that costs a couple of hundred dollars or more should our dining table top ever become warn or damaged including things like marker, scratches, etcwith the agreement that if something should happen our table would be repaired or replaced Not using the warranty means a refund of the warrantyWe've owned our dining table for less than a year and it is bubbled and warped for no apparent reason They claim we damaged it with waterWe did not hold it under water to warp/bubble it upIt randomly happenedThey are not repairing nor replacing our table top as it was not reported early enoughIt was reported and we have owned our table for less than one year They will also not be refunding us our full warranty that is unused because employees had to look at our table We are also now stuck with a damaged tableI consider the furniture store and the warranty company to be dishonest and to have poor customer service A table which costs more than $1,should not under any conditions warp or bubble up under every day usage as ours hasInstead this table should last decades and be a piece we could hand down to our children, etcI'm very disappointed and will not shop with them or recommend them to others
