I purchased a Chandelier 'pendant light' on 5-30-at this store location I was told the item would be direct shipped to my home no later than 6-21- I wanted the item delivered in time for a party I was havingThe delivery never occurred I have contacted the store and their 866# seven times in the past weeks to find out where my delivery is Its been over weeks now and they still cannot tell me where my item is or give me a tracking# on it They continue to tell me they will call me back and in weeks I still have not ever received a call back I now have received the bill for the item in the mail stating first payment due in days I called Ashley Furniture and was told I would still have to pay by due date even though I still don't have the item and they still don't know where it is or when it will be delivered

Purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture 03/29/11....also purchased VIP coverage for 119.99....contract stated that if I had not used coverage in years, I would get an instore credit for that amount (no conditions) On 06/21/2016, I went to the store to purchase a small item with the amount....was told by store manager that the contract had changed....now you had to spend a minimum of in order to use the credit....my complaint is that the store should honor the original agreement....bait and switch or fraud?

Refund for bed rails as promised by Ashley's Customer Service manager I paid in full for purchase in May Product delivery was scheduled and cancelled at least times prior to me ultimately getting the bed rails in early to mid July After being scheduled and cancelled times, Ashley delivered my furniture and loaned me "temporary rails" They then scheduled and cancelled twice the delivery of permanent rails Due to the aggravation of coming into the store on occasions and coordinating to be off work only to tell my employer, they cancelled so I will not be off work; the Customer Service manager said she would refund the cost of the rails to my account It was never done I went into the store a 3rd time, traveling from Pleasure Ridge, and no one could assist me I tried to call their store for an entire week and no one answers the phone Totally fed up and the business relationship cannot be salvaged

Honestly, at this point I do not feel that this particular business nor the business that provides their warranties even earn the one star The sales representatives convinced us to take out a warranty that costs a couple of hundred dollars or more should our dining table top ever become warn or damaged including things like marker, scratches, etcwith the agreement that if something should happen our table would be repaired or replaced Not using the warranty means a refund of the warrantyWe've owned our dining table for less than a year and it is bubbled and warped for no apparent reason They claim we damaged it with waterWe did not hold it under water to warp/bubble it upIt randomly happenedThey are not repairing nor replacing our table top as it was not reported early enoughIt was reported and we have owned our table for less than one year They will also not be refunding us our full warranty that is unused because employees had to look at our table We are also now stuck with a damaged tableI consider the furniture store and the warranty company to be dishonest and to have poor customer service A table which costs more than $1,should not under any conditions warp or bubble up under every day usage as ours hasInstead this table should last decades and be a piece we could hand down to our children, etcI'm very disappointed and will not shop with them or recommend them to others

We purchased a sofa and recliner from Ashley Furniture on Oct2010, at that time we purchased their VIP extended warranty protection plan for $plus taxWe were told by the salesman that if we do not use the VIP coverage, then we would get a full cash refund backWe did not use the VIP coverage, so we went back to Ashley Furniture on Nov 2015, after the end of the VIP coverage to get the refund backWe were told by the manager that we cannot get a cash refund even though the salesman said that we could at the time of purchaseShe said that we could use the full refund amount toward any purchase at Ashley Furniture and that the offer was good from 10/12/thru 10/12/We went into the store on 6/3/to make a purchase for the amount due usWe spoke to the Manager ***She said that they changed their policy in January 2016, and that to use the amount due us that we had to purchase something with a minimum cost of $She said that the change had come down from corp

We have been mislead multiple times now about the time until deliveryUpon looking for a new couch, we were verbally promised delivery in 2-weeksOnly after signing the paperwork were we told it would weeksThen the day prior to the week scheduled delivery they called and said it would be another weeksThey were very hard reach on the phone to even get an explaination for the delayed (yet again) deliveryNot only were they unapologetic, but they became short with us on the phone after we expressed a complaint about feeling lied toWe will NOT be buying any furniture from them again

I bought furniture and a protection plan in Protection plan was for years .I was explained if I didn't use I can get I credit $(cost it) when to the store 05\/19/to get it I was told I have to spend $or more in the store, I store will be apply the $credit towards the purchasesI send email with my complaint to the corporate office and I was contacted for a representative who explained to me back in was I different police, she offered to buy any furniture and I have to buy again the protection plan for $in order to get my credit backThe total plan is a ripoff and the intention is people's will not remember after years to claim the money

On March 24th we purchased a $2,leather sofa and love seat from Ashley Furniture Store (*** *** ***)We were told we had to wait until April 18th for delivery to which we agreedBecause we were in such need we went back into the store the 1st week of April and asked if there was any way we could get delivery soonerWe were told by the customer service manager that the salesperson should have checked to see if there was a possibility that another warehouse had the item by putting in a ticketShe promised to do that and call us back within hoursTwenty four hours later we received a call from the Customer Service Manager telling us that it was not possible to get an earlier delivery
Fast forward to April 18th this weekWe took delivery on April 18th as we were toldWhile the truck was here we noticed a few nicks and one of the sofa pillows looked a little wornIt was called in and noted to the warehouseThey said they would take care of itI was also

I wish I could give them stars I literally cried after our furniture was delivered The delivery men were minutes late and they start bringing in furniture as fast as they could One guy came into my house holding a nightstand that should have been carried by two people He rams into a shelf and shatters a handmade ceramic statue that we bought on our honeymoon (actually, the only item we bought on our honeymoon) Then he rams it into the bedroom door and chips the paint They also brought the wrong stools for the kitchen table so we have to wait another week or so to be able to actually sit at the table to eat
I could have gotten over all of this, but after they left I went to start filling the new nightstands and dresser with items and noticed cracks, stratches, chips, excess glue and other problems with the furniture The quality is poor to begin with, and I'm sure they were not careful when loading, driving and unloading the furniture
I have talked with guest relations and they are replacing the night stands and the dresser They asked me for estimates for the property damage How am I supposed to get someone to put a price on an irreplaceable item?!
Needless to say, I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again and advise everyone to stay away!!

On Monday August my wife and I stopped by the Ashley Store, to check out their Bedroom outfits, because we are wanting a new oneAfter several hours of looking around the store, we made a decision and purchased a very nice looking and somewhat expensive outfitIt was getting late and the store was prepairing to close so the sales department was trying to rush the processThey were somewhat friendly but at the sametime rushingThe next August my wife was doing some research and discovered the very same outfit at two other stores cheaperAs much as $2,cheeperSo we called Ashley and ask why the exact outfit same item numbers etc could be that much cheeper in a store not owned and operated by AshleyThe Sales rep made mention of price matching and if we could provide an itemized list they would match the pricethat afternoon I emailed them that list only to be told it could not be matched

Purchased new bedroom set 10/29/and had a good experience with sales representative ***Delivery was scheduled for 11/17/and delivery was as promisedThe delivery people indicated that the rails were damaged so they could not set up the bed They left the dresser, night stands, headboard and the storage foot bed The rails were reordered 11/17/and was told another weeks for deliveryIt has now been weeks and no rails to put the bed togetherHave been sleeping on the floor on a mattress since 11/17/and it is getting oldThe 1st weeks we were able to stay with family but we could not impose anymoreReceived an email on the 11/24/delivery would be 11/27/1:30-4: I confirmed someone would be there for deliveryNo one showed so I called to see why I was told to now expect delivery 1/8/ I had to reschedule other appointments to accommodate the 11/and the 1/8/deliveries I did so because we have had to wait so long we really wanted something to sleep on They were kind enough to credit us the cost of the rails but it was definitely not worth the wasted time two hour delivery windows), sleeping on the floor, or the long wait***1/8/Well the saga continuesPurchased bedroom set 10/29/and still cannot use it1/8/they finally brought new rails to put the bed frame together but were not successful The rails would not attachIt has been days since the 1st delivery of bad/damaged product and yet today another delivery or existence of bad product already leftI'm praying it won't be another days before I can finally sleep on my bedAshley was paid in full on the day we purchased the set and has had my money since 10/29/for something I cannot useDon't know if they will ever get it rightAsked them to take the bed back and send a new oneI was told they would order new rails again That might not be the problem, it might be the headboardTold representative on phone they were able to connect the rails at the foot of the bed but she did not seem to want to listenBedroom set has been setting in the bedroom unusable since 11/17/ Ashley, when will I finally be able to use my bed?????
***1-10- I did get a call from an Ashley representative early yesterday afternoon after my 1/8/post We discussed the issue and she told me she would make some calls and get back to me a little later on and hopefully have a resolution to the problem Have yet to hear from her Again I ask, Ashley when will I be able to sleep in my bed???

I bought a recliner in December and is electric push buttonThe guy that delivered it said it’s cold and will work when it warms up due to the weatherIt stopped working altogetherFor a month and a half we have been waiting for it to be repairedIt is in the payed out positionAnd now March it was finally suppose to be fixed and no one has called or shown upI’ve called the store and they said call back if no one shows upThey would not give a new chair or a refund

On 1-25-I purchased $10,worth of furniture from Ashley Furniture The initial delivery date was to be 2-8- Most of my furniture was delivered on that date, however there were a few pieces missing Since that initial delivery I have received all of my furniture with the exception of my bed There have been different delivery dates scheduled for this, three of which no one showed up or bothered to call to state they weren't coming Every time I call customer service they tell me that something was damaged and needed to be reordered I have tried to contact Ashley Furniture several times via phone and email No one can tell me what is going on Please help me resolve this issue I don't have anyone else who can help me

I purchased a $ kitchen table & chairs from this company and inquired about delivery was informed it would be another $so I decided to have my brother pick it upwas not informed that it would be in boxes when picked up if I did not pay the additional moneyWhen called to ask if I could returned it because I did not have anyone to put this together I was told since it was in my possession I could not return it for refund and if anything was wrong with it once opened I would have return it to the storeI have never dealt with a company with these types of policies and I am very unhappy with a company that has shady policiesI understand now why their parking lot is emptyBUYER BEWARE are be sure you ask questions about their return or refund policy

After being a loyal customer of Ashley Furniture for several years, it's extremely sad and shameful that this business has become so disorganized, customer unfriendly, communicational challenged, and downright rude On multiple occasions, each of these negative qualities has been unfortunately displayed by several of their representatives After our recent purchase, which will be our very last with this organization, they made it impossible to get the furniture delivered Even their management officials were far less than accommodating While they answer their phone lines as "the number one furniture store in the world", they are anything but that these days It is now days past the original delivery date, and days past the birthday that we purchased it for, and we still do not have the furniture we ordered Throughout this entire process, this company's personnel have been both disingenuous and deceitful After approximately years of doing business with this company, my recommendation would be to shop elsewhere in today's marketplaceCustomer service is no longer something that they are committed to

Furniture and year extended warranty were purchased in and delivered in January Salesman assured us that the extended warranty would cover any issues once the manufacturers warranty expired The Durablend furniture (sofa, loveseat and recliner) started peeling in October of and we are now being told that it will not be covered We submitted a claim with Ashley Furniture and their solution is to offer us $(with a signed release waiver) for our inconvenience That is absolutely unacceptable when we paid $for what we thought was quality furniture

My husband and I recently purchased a couch, loveseat, and rocker reclinerThey are all powerWe didn’t make this decision lightly and even looked at lazy boy and HavertysHowever we have purchased several items over the years with Ashley with no problems so we decided on set at AshleyOur main purpose was finding something comfortableThis set is the one the staff sets on in the store and was very comfortableIt was delivered and my husband looked it over for flaws but didn’t set on it and unfortunately signed for itWhen we sat on it,it is not even close to the one in the storeI understand that some things may need broken in but this just doesn’t seem to be the caseAlso the rocker recliner is another story in its selfIt leans forward and reclines lopsidedNow to my other complaint is that as soon as we sat on it the day it was delivered we went straight to the storeOne to verify that the two sets do not compare in comfort and filed a complaintIt is days later with
