I have been going to Aaron's for year's just paid off two of my items and was working on two more,But just recently I have had problems with some of the employees well one of the employees,He is rude, and can be smart with the customer's with out you really knowing it,And it sad to say someone in a business like Aaron's to have a rude person like him,But I will say I am taking my business elsewhere

First off I did not go to Aarons rents because I did not have creditThey had what I was looking for and I could not find it at any other store in townWhen I went to purchase my fridge from them they did not have it in stock and had to order itI specifically asked if I did the paper work that day if my payment would start that day or when I received the product and was told my payment would be on the 15th of the month after I received the productDID NOT HAPPEN weeks after I had the product I started getting Harassing phone calls asking if I was going to pay my billthat was in august and I made a payment for 11/1/today and was told I had to pay more because of their mistake in AugustNOT A GOOD BUSINESS I will tell any one that asks my opinion

What to say that Aaron in Burlington Iowa is not a very understanding place to have people get stuff cause my husband and daughter was in a very bad motorcycle accident I called and talk to Jake store manger and he said that I could keep my stuff just pay what I could each month until I could go back to work then on 8-19-Jake came to my house and told me I had to come up with hundred dollars on the 3of September to keep all my stuff then on 8-22-he called my husband and said they are coming to get my stuff in Friday ur employees and management needs to stop lying to there customers I am going to tell all my friends and family that has stuff through Aaron to let it all go back and go somewhere else to rent there stuff

Very rude staff and they try to over price merchandise and service is a joke they don't care about they're customers I will not do business with them again

I leased a pre-leased washer and dryer combo from Aarons under the agreement that a star inspection had been done on both items, as indicatedThe washer/dryer were delivered on 3/22/The washing machine was defectiveIt consistently washed clothes over and overOnce the cycle would end, it just started back over and kept washing until you hit the cancel buttonI opened the dryer to find the last persons socks in there, which lead me to believe that the "star inspection" most certainly did not take placeAs a result, I called and asked them to come get the items and issue a refundI was advised by [redacted] that this would happenThe very next day, 3/23/at 5:they were picked upToday (3/24/2016) I called to see about my refund and was advised by [redacted] that the General Manager, [redacted] ***, said "we do not do that, there will not be a refund." After purchasing a washer & dryer they have both quit working as well as the loaner washer they gave us to use while trying to fix our washer After purchasing a whirlpool washer & dryer (model [redacted] & [redacted] on June 8, the washer stopped working within the 1st monthAarons brought us a loaner (an Armana which they never gave us paper work on) and sent our washer to repairAround November/December Aarons sent technicians to look at the loaner machine (Armana) they reset it, started a load & left without seeing that it worked took another payment from us on their way out & handed my husband the manual told him if he had anymore trouble to reset itTheir contract clearly states that customers are not to work on their machines to call them and they will repairAfter seeing the loaner un-repaired we called & inquired about our WhirlpoolThey had no knowledge about our washer ever being taken to repair but called us back around January to say it was deemed unrepairable

I called Aarons wanting to get my furniture picked up because I recently had purchased a new living room set from a different storeI stated that I would like to have the furniture picked up in a timely manner being that I had no room for their couches in my living roomThey scheduled to come get the furniture a week from then, which ended up being on a Tuesday evening, That day came and went and they never showed up or called to rescheduleI ended up calling them and asking them when they could come pick it up the answer to that was you will have to call back the manager is not inFor the next two weeks I kept trying to get a hold of someone that could tell me when they could come get this furniture, keep in mind I was still getting phone calls from them stating that my payment was dueAfter another week of this I finally got a hold of the manager and was given another time that they could come get the furniture, that time once again came and no one showed up, when I called I was

I find this company to be very deceptive They tell you that you can pay for the item that you rented early but, fail to convey that you will be penalizedAlso they make your monthly payment amount to equal payoff early

I am writing this complaint in regards to [redacted] the Account Manager, delivery driver, payment collector etcI say this because he is the one who delivered my furniture and assembled (messy rude and lazy about putting my furniture together FYI), BUT he is also the only one who calls when I have missed a payment by daysHe has called me during times the business is closed (8pm) yelling and screaming when he can come pick up my furniture and that what I am doing is stealing!!
