Dear Revdex.com,In response to this rebuttal, our District General Manager *** *** reached back out to the client personally to assist in resolving the additional issues Ms*** was havingMs*** was not refunded the Peace of Mind product fee as it is usually none refundable And DGM *** *** explained the benefits of keeping the coverage and Ms*** agreed that the product was worth keeping.Also, while Ms*** seems pleased with the service provided by *** ***, *** *** is having her return reviewed again by one of our seasoned Enrolled Agents to give her additional confidence in her tax return.In regards to the client having issues cashing the check, *** *** suggested that the client try to cash the check again and if she continues to have issues cashing the check to contact herIf there are still issues, *** *** will reach out to the claims department to have a new check issues and overnighted to the client.We want to thank Ms*** for her pleasantness through this process.Sincerely, *** ***Associate Business AnalystH&R Block

I am rejecting this response because: Both H&R claims are false They called after I made this complaint and I indicated I'd also filed a complaint with the Attorney General The woman said o.kand hung up At no other time did anyone from H&R Block contact me about this complaint, much less offer me anything (I immediately found someone else to do the taxes, I could not have accepted a "half off" offer.) H&R Block has done nothing whatsoever to make right on this wrong

I am rejecting this response because:
H&R BLOCK Ms *** was in possesion of ALL of my tax and supporting documention for about weeks and she did exactly NOTHING with it, she just "talked" to *** ***, who prepared the faulty returns and amendments in the first place, and of course he thinks his tax return versions were wonderful.. Ms.*** was free to copy any material she wanted or needed, but there was really no intent in the first place to fairly and correctly resolve this matter Ms ***, or anyone else from H&R Block was free to also speak to *** & *** (the accounting firm that reprocessed all my returns for 2011, 12, and 14) to discuss the descrepancies, but here again the intent was never to honestly resolve this, but only to "deny" any responsibility Sad statement for a large company as H&R Block.Both the IRS as well as the State of Kansas have refunded approxan additional $4,for the years to Ms*** was in possession of copies of those checks as well It is pretty outrageous for H&R Block to claim now that it is also my fault to have claimed my documentation back from Ms***, as it was clear to me, again, that there was no intent to resolve this in a proper and upright way Ms*** also never asked whether she could copy any of the materials I had provided to her.How can H&R Block claim that they "stand by their product", if they are no longer in possession of any of the documentation necessary to compare "notes" I am not an accountant, and that is why I have to hire someone to process my returns It is additionally unfair for H&R Block to "argue" with me, but then again, that would be the easiest I reject the way this was handled by H&R Block, and specifically by Ms***
