I appreciate the feedback and attention I've received after months trying to reach out to H&R Block with no successI would like to make it clear that my Revdex.com claim refers to the fact that H&R Block lost my tax return information (and apparently my tax return information as well) after a system migration.I still do not have a satisfactory response regarding my request to receive a copy of my tax return. On a different note, I am also concerned for other customers who do not know this happened or even if it may happen in the future in case a new system migration happens and more information is lost.

that the original IRS notice reflected the incorrect amount of penalties owed
We challenged the IRS and as a result, Ms***'s bill was
reducedWe challenged the IRS regarding
the amount of withholding and the IRS readjusted the return and sent a new
notice of balance due dated September 8, 2015, which resulted in a lower
balance dueThe payment dated October 30, matches the IRS notice dated
September 8, Therefore, we consider this situation handled in accordance
with the product terms and conditions of the Peace of Mind contact that Ms***
singed and agreed to which states in part: “Before such payment you must allow
Block at its sole discretion and expense, to challenge the determination that
additional taxes and penalties and interest are owed”H&R Block prepares millions
of tax returns each year, and if we do make an error, we are committed to
making the situation rightIt is our belief that we have done so in Ms
***’s situation by amending the return and reimbursing interest,

I was led to believe my preparation would be free and also that I in fact DID qualify for the loan which is the only reason I got the emerald card!!! When I spoke to the man over the office he informed me that his representatives were not aware of the loan process and who did or did not qualify because they didn't know about the criteria! Also I called the main number for H&R Block and they assured me numerous times that the preparation fees would not be taken from me!!! I also have the lady's employee number and name!!! I will not settle this until I am refunded!!Regards,

Dear Revdex.com,In response to this matter, our investigation reflects that the IRS Notice which Ms*** recieved was due to the 1095A not accounted for on the original return. Additionally, records reflect that Ms***'s initial IRS Notice was dated 4/05/2016, questioning the return, in which the client responded to directlyThe IRS then adjusted the return and sent a notice of increase of tax liability dated 6/06/It was 6/10/when Ms*** contacted her local H&R Block office concerning the noticePer the terms and conditions of H&R Block’s Peace of Mind contract which states in part: “Before such payment, you must: (a) notify Block of any government notice regarding such taxes within days from the date of such notice (b) promptly provide Block with copies of such notices and other documents relating to or substantiating such additional taxes.Records further reflect that Ms*** did not provide this information at the time of the tax interviewThe client’s Peace of Mind claim was denied due to the for the following reasons: return correct with information provided at the time of tax preparation, failure to allow H&R Block to assist with the initial notice dated 4/05/and over days from date of notice from IRS and contact with H&R Block regarding the notice dated 4/05/2016.We assure you that we take the concerns of our clients seriously and make every effort to resolve matters thoroughly and fairly.If you should need anything further or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.Sincerely,*** ***Associate Business AnalystH&R Block

I am rejecting this response because:it is my want and wish that corporate should see what these people are doing to folks, the summary on pgtells what needs to be told, by their bylaws h&r block pays all interest and penalities if it is their mistake , we went thru years of levies,interest for money we did not owe because of these people, who else has suffered because of those 2? We want a public apology from those and have h&r block look into how many others have been harmed
