H&R BLOCK Ms *** was in possesion of ALL of my tax and supporting documention for about weeks and she did exactly NOTHING with it, she just "talked" to *** ***, who prepared the faulty returns and amendments in the first place, and of course he thinks his tax return versions were wonderful.. Ms.*** was free to copy any material she wanted or needed, but there was really no intent in the first place to fairly and correctly resolve this matter Ms ***, or anyone else from H&R Block was free to also speak to *** & *** (the accounting firm that reprocessed all my returns for 2011, 12, and 14) to discuss the descrepancies, but here again the intent was never to honestly resolve this, but only to "deny" any responsibility Sad statement for a large company as H&R Block.Both the IRS as well as the State of Kansas have refunded approxan additional $4,for the years to Ms*** was in possession of copies of those checks as well It is pretty outrageous for H&R Block to claim now that it is also my fault to have claimed my documentation back from Ms***, as it was clear to me, again, that there was no intent to resolve this in a proper and upright way Ms*** also never asked whether she could copy any of the materials I had provided to her.How can H&R Block claim that they "stand by their product", if they are no longer in possession of any of the documentation necessary to compare "notes" I am not an accountant, and that is why I have to hire someone to process my returns It is additionally unfair for H&R Block to "argue" with me, but then again, that would be the easiest I reject the way this was handled by H&R Block, and specifically by Ms***

I view any attempt to intermingle W-information entered under different names and social security numbers as fraudulent, and Ibelieve the IRS would agree with me

I am rejecting this response because: My complaint was clear as to what transpired as I was utilizing their product. I have used this product for the last years or more. I have called the headquarters of H&R Block numerous times and engaged inthe online chat with their representatives. It is amazing to me that I got the run around each time. I don't think it was intentional, it has become crystal clear and extremely frustrating to realize that the representatives who speak on behalf of this company, are not in sync with one another or any structured process. I therefore, requested a refund and processed my return with another company. It was more simple and easier to use and I am glad I found a more friendlier process.

There is no one in their claim department who accepts responsibility for their error. Not only did they make a mistake resulting in an audit, they then compounded the problem by reimbursing me on the Federal Peace of Mind portion of the guarantee but again made a mistake on the State portion of their guarantee! They incorrectly calculated the amount owed resulting in my overpaying the state by several hundred dollars. Now they say that I have to go to the state to recollect that money! They should be paying me that money under their guarantee! It is their fault for not doing this correctly and I paid for their guarantee to have them do it correctly. When asked about the State error, they indicated that their person did not take notes on their calculations, used the wrong software that was not even up to date with the year in question! I want H&R Block to pay me the total amount I had to pay to the State immediately! This has been going on since April of 2015!! Where is My Peace of Mind Guarantee by them that I PAID for when I contracted with them for it?? Honor your written guarantee in a timely manner and pay me to resolve this!
