HORRIBLEI paid $for UPS shippingUnfortunately the driver kept attempting delivery when I was at work (miles away)Called customer service and was told that I could either pick up the package at the UPS Access Point after 8pm (which is another miles from my home and in one of the most dangerous areas in the country), or I could have the package sent to a UPS StoreThe agent said setting up store rerouting was $over the phone, but FREE online after I sign up for a FREE UPS My Choice AccountI sign-up, go to have the delivery setup, and am being asked for my credit card for a $feeCall back UPS explaining the misinformation given to me by the prior agentMy new options she gives me? Literally chase down the UPS driver on his route, with no guarantee as to his location or time, drive the miles to the access point, or pay the $No offer to comp the fee, and when I asked for them to review the call recording she told me that it would take over an hour "as we have more important calls to take." WHAT?! I then ask her if I can release the signature requirementShe says yes, no fee for thatThen every page she points to on the UPS website is non-existentEvery single oneI'm placed on hold a series of times, for 3-minutes each time for her to come back and tell me to go to another page, only for that page to be nonexistent as wellFinally, after minutes I gave upI will NEVER use UPS again and will share my experience with my corporate contacts as well to ensure that they are not contributing their business to such a horrible, non-customer service oriented businessABSOLUTELY ***

Ordered Xmas present for daughterHad it addressed to my officeDriver lied on his log that he made attempts at delivery and left notices on my business door Package was supposedly sent back to originatorUPS kept giving me run-around over phone about this package "maybe" being returned to meAm considering Small Claims suit against UPSNot going to have UPS steal from my daughter without a fight!

None of the shipping services are perfect, over the years running a business and sending personal packages I've had plenty damaged, lost, or even stolenBut lately UPS has been nothing but trouble with poor customer support to bootThis last interaction was the final straw
I recently had a customer on a very tight deadline that required their shipment to arrive next dayEven though the price was significantly higher than I expected (and later confirmed by running comparison quotes through FedEx and USPS) I knew my customer would appreciate getting the package right away and didn't have time to shop aroundSo I paid for Next Day Early Residential deliveryOnly the package didn't arrive early the next day, or the next day at allInstead it arrived the following dayA shipping time frame that would have been SIGNIFICANTLY cheaperSo naturally my customer is now not able to use the product so they decide not to pay for itI can't blame them, it's a perfectly reasonable requestSo I make the same request of UPS, they weren't able to deliver the package in the agreed upon time frame, so why should I pay for their services? Note, I did not request to be reimbursed for my lost income on the product
So I call the number on the receipt listed for refunds, wait on hold for awhile, and eventually am told because I dropped the package off at a UPS store that is where I need to initiate the claimWhich I found out later is pretty redundant because the claim ends up going back to corporate for approval and check disbursal anywaySo I file the claim and a few weeks later a check shows upCool, they are making good on their mistake! Only no, they aren'tThe check is not for the amount I paid them, and you probably assumed correctly that it wasn't for moreSo I call the number LISTED ON THE CHECK for questions regarding refundsI finally get through their ridiculous automated system, end up getting transferred a handful of times, get told my discrepancy is because they don't refund fuel costs, and eventually end up with someone from the billing departmentWhere I'm promptly put on hold so she can investigate the claimI'm on hold on and off for around 5-minutes before she finally comes back on the line to tell me I need to initiate the claim for the amount discrepancy at the UPS storeAt this point I'm done with this interaction and beyond frustrated with UPS' complete lack of anything resembling customer serviceFirst you can't even deliver a package on time, which is your jobThen you make your customer jump through hoops to get refunded for YOUR mistakeThen you decide to short your customer on their refund for reasons I can only imagineAnd then you expect your customer to jump through more hoops to retrieve the rest of their money? It would probably end up costing me more in time/fuel than I would even get backWhat a jokeThe sad part is by the time they are done paying their employees to investigate this claim and everything else they also probably paid more than if they would have just given me 100% refund up frontBut whatever, shady companies will be shadyI hope those fuel costs were worth losing a customer overI will primarily if not entirely be shipping through USPS and FedEx now

I have nothing but trouble with UPS I can't stand when companies use them, because the package regularly doesn't arrive on time, or is missing when "delivered." This time, I ordered a Christmas present weeks before Christmas and was told it would be delivered on 12/ I was unaware a signature was required and no one was home So, instead of leaving a note saying a second attempt would be made, it instead said the package would be delivered to an access point I called the access point and was told deliveries were made at 1:00pm the following day I called UPS to confirm They told me instead that it was at a customer facility I went to the customer facility It wasn't there I went to the access point at 2:00pm, the driver hadn't arrived I called UPS and spoke to a supervisor at 5:00pm who told me while Saturday is a business day, it's not a ground delivery business day and that the package is at the facility but that I can't have it because it's in a locked truck It was explained to me that only M-F are business days AND ground delivery days Amazon, FedEx, AND the government (USPS) deliver more days out of the week than that! The customer is not first to UPS My package, originally scheduled to deliver on the 23rd will be available for pi(not delivered to my house) until 12/because all drivers apparently get the 24th-26th off as they aren't delivering Saturday or Sunday or, for that matter, during the day after Christmas I'm not the only one not getting Christmas packages by Christmas Many packages are at the facility and the access point and in the locked trucks with no drivers able(?) to deliver them

UPS has lost over packages of mine If I could give less than a "Negative" rating, I would Every call to support has ended with, "Your package is lost and we can't help you." Yes you can You can call the office where the package was last scanned You can do SOMETHING other than tell me, "Welp, we lost your stuff Too bad."
On one occasion the support rep tried to blame the "lost" package on the weather Being a meteorologist, I reviewed the weather during the days, times, and paths the package took When I called them out on it (there was zero chance weather delayed/lost this) the package showed up the next day Crazy how that worked out, right?
I wish I could give UPS a -1,000,on the "How likely are you to recommend them?" question They're absolutely horrible

I have received packages via ups but would not chose this delivery method again

UPS in the United States in complicit in a scam run by UPS Thailand That scam ended up costing me more than US Dollars,,,,,,,,,,,, PLUS, UPS considered my parcel "abandoned" and they kept my parcel ! ! ! !
Beware of anything UPS

copy of my letter to this TERRIBLE company:
I have been trying to resolve a claim for over dollars of ammunition and gun parts that was not deliveredI have been treated rudely, hung up on, asked to repeat information that I have already given numerous times and even had my investigation wrongfully closedI am requesting that I be reimbursed for the value of my shipments that your company failed to deliverI have been turfed off to call centers outside of the united states and told summarily to contact the shipper, and that USP cannot help me I will see to it that your outfit gets the negative attention that it deservesI have tried to remain civil and wasted days of my time being ignored by your companyThis will not stand

UPS is the worst shipping company in the United States, if not the entire worldI order a lot online, and UPS never, ever delivers on timeThey change their delivery dates constantly and without warningI recently ordered a package for things I needed for an out of town trip with a promised delivery date of the day before I leftThe day before I left, they changed the date to the day I left, even though the package had been sitting about minutes from my house for whole hours, and they wouldn't allow me to pick it upDelivery on the day I was leaving was okay, not ideal, but I could live with itUntil the morning I'm supposed to leaveI see the package has gone from minutes from my home, ALL the way to New Hampshire, with absolutely no chance of it being delivered anytime soonThey call it a "missort," but I call it horrible, unorganized businessThis kind of stuff happens all the time with themI cannot recommend them to anyone and I would caution anyone who has another delivery option to go with that rather than UPS

Every package I have ever got with these people has been the worst headache everI paid ....PAID for my choice upgrade where you can select a delivery windowBut guess what, all windows are during business hoursSo if you have job, like most of us, good luck getting your package
Not only that they left a big box on my front stepJust placing the welcome mat on top of ita toddler could tell you why that makes absolutely no senseYou can still see the package!

I will no longer order on-line from companies that use UPS for delivery The UPS driver left my $$$$ DISH unit along the side of the road, more than yards from my house and not even within sight of my house, in freezing temps and stated on his delivery sheet that he left the package on my front porch I filed a complaint with UPS who promised they would contact me by 10:am today Guess what? NO PHONE CALL or even an e-mail If the drivers will lie about where they left a package, what else would they lie about? And customer service lied, too This is not the first time UPS has done this to me Always a promised to take my concerns seriously, but no improvement A company of liars! I suggested the sender (DISH) request their money back, since there was NO delivery An absolutely negative review

I am not the type of person to write a review even when experiencing poor service but UPS has repeatedly refused to correct the same problem leaving me without my package for a month
I am beyond frustrated with this company and its lack of professionalism and customer careI will NEVER ship through UPS again after this experienceI am shocked at how poorly such a large company deals with its problems and customers
I feel like it is ground hog day and each time I am promised a delivery, it fails and then I am back on the phone for hours at a time eventually even being HUNG UP ON on hold
I will not keep this story of my experience to myself any longerI only wish I could be telling a better story to all of my friends and social media than the horrific story I am telling now

UPS has gradually declined in their delivery service to a third world class service company Their customer service representatives are obtuse and extremely apathetic toward their customer's needs
They notify you of a late day delivery and deliver the package in the morning when no one is home to receive it; they drop off large packages on the side off the road instead of putting it in a safe place by the door
I have contacted UPS on several occasions and their service seems to be getting worst each time, which prompted me to contact the Revdex.com regarding this matterUPS has a veneer of improvement with a new website but the rest has remain the same and even declined in many areas I truly don't apprehend what happen to this companythey use to be beautiful!

Worst customer service everI called to check on an order that had been rescheduled for delivery and I had a terrible experienceTwo separate representatives including a supervisor where two of the most disrespectful people I have ever in counteredThe supervisor was talking to me in a bottling way for half of the conversationI have filled a complaint with UPS

I am so sick to death of UPS, they either like to play games with other peoples packages or they are totally ineptNot for the first time have I had to wait extended periods of time for my packages to be delivered, A couple of years ago ordered some perishable items from Amazon with a two day delivery period as this was a perishable itemI had to wait more than days before I received the packageI called the company and explained that I had not received this item and was sent a replacement order, which, what a surprise, that too took almost weeks to arriveOther incidents since then have not endeared me to UPS
Almost weeks ago I ordered some items online and was given as estimated delivery date of 11/1/On Tuesday November 1st I checked the tracking number and found that my items had been delivered here ( I live in Seattle) on Monday 31st October so I reasonably thought that my package would be delivered the next dayWrongThe tracking says it was delivered to Seattle on 10/31/16, scheduled delivery date Tuesday Nov was not delivered and the next day it the tracking changed yet again to Wednesday Nov 2nd , didn't get it that day either, the next day the tracking changed yet again to Thursday Nov 3rd, still didn't get my package, today is Friday November 4th and I still do not have my package, and there is no scheduled delivery date set and the tracking still says "in transit" Seattle is not that big, how long does it take to deliver a medium size package from one area of Seattle to the otherWhen I called customer service I was given no reason as to why it had not been deliveredUnfortunately I have no control over how my packages are shippedIs it acceptable for our parcels to be held without a viable reason until the carrier (UPS) decides they are going to deliverMy answer to that is NOAs UPS do not deliver on the weekends, how much longer am I to wait as by Monday it will have been sitting somewhere here in Seattle for a whole weekIs this how UPS conduct business without a thought to the customer, the attitude seems to be to hell with the customer
Unfortunately there is no way to contact anyone in authority, or the corporate office unless I write a letter with no guarantee of a response

For such an accredited company, UPS, has proven to be an incompetent, inept, and criminally unknowledgeable joke of a business
In two days, both packages that were supposed to have reached my front door have inexplicably gone missingThe first package was "left at front door" - this was not the caseSomeone was at home waiting for the package to be delivered but there was no truck or package in sight when the "delivery notification" was receivedCalling UPS proved to be a fruitless waste of time as they said that they would have the driver call me to verify the package was not accidentally left on the truckUnsurprisingly, no phone call was receivedI was not overly upset after this interactionIt's the holidays and so a lost package is bound to happenI was discouraged, but not upsetIt was not until today when I sat downstairs in anticipation for another package to be delivered to my front door when I received another text notifying me that my package had been delivered! Well that was a surprise as I was sitting within 20ft of both my front and back doors and heard no doorbell or knockA thorough survey of both entrances revealed no UPS truck, no driver, and only a small UPS delivery "Sorry we missed you..." noticeNow, I'm upset - I've been downstairs all morning in anticipation for this packageI get no knock or doorbell ringThe package is marked as "DELIVERED" on UPS's website with a note that says it was signed for by someone last named HillNo one living here has that last name or any name resembling thatI have so many mixed messages, I don't know what to do with any of this informationI used the app and the website to scan/enter the bar code number on the missed delivery notice with no successIt should also be noted that on the missed deliver notice, the "Your package was left at (OFFICE)" was circledI live in a standalone houseThere is no office or front deskSo where is my package? I've called, I've waited, I've called againThis experience has led me to file this reviewI would advise against using UPS's services during any holiday season or for anything you deem as urgent or valuable because this experience has been nothing less than a nightmarish headacheThough courteous, the customer service department provides no answers or justificationsIt's always a "we'll pass this message along"It is unacceptable for a logistics company to fail this miserably at logistics

UPS returned my order and sent me notification about picking up at UPS after it was returned because they were busy during holliday almost days lateHorrible experience

While visiting NYC I scheduled a shipment for pion Nov for Dec 3rd between 9:and noonAs I was leaving NYC on the 4th it was necessary for my package to be picked upI waited until 12:before calling to check on pick-up, mind you this is my last day in NYC with tickets to visit the Empire State BuildingBy the third time I called I was told the driver went to the ship to address as the info was entered wrong, I assured the person on the phone I was looking at the shipping label and the information was correctBy the time o'clock in the evening had rolled around I had made six or seven phone calls to ups, resolving nothing for the dayNeedless to say my nephew stayed home from work so the package could be picked up the next dayTo this day I have not received an apology or any kind of discounted refund on my shippingI will no longer use UPS has a shipperPSThe original shipping date was changed to days later

waited all day in my front room after taking work off to wait for important package to be told last hour of delivery time that there is a DelayNot cool, made me miss out a whole pay day to wait for a delay

I just opened an account with UPS a couple of months ago for my new business They are not reliable to pick up packages when requested and my driver tells the company he has picked it up when he hasn't So disappointed with UPS and am going to cancel my account and go with *** NOT RELIABLE AT ALL!!
