I had a friend send a golf rangefinder from back home in Canada to me in floridaThey charged $because of the guarantee appliedThey tried to charge a brokerage fee for something I already own even after they knew it was a personal itemI tried many times to resolve it with them but they were adament that I was responsible for the charges

I have had a few packages shipped with UPS Every package was late by at least two days Also when trying to schedule delivery times for packages my time windows were always cancelled When speaking with customer service I have always been told there is nothing they can do and I was never issued a refund or any compensation for my missed delivery dates I have even had an electronics package show up at my door and handed to me by the driver soaking wet to the point the box fell apart in my hands with my item broken costing me more money to get it returned and a new one shipped Overall customer service was poor and the actually delivery service is not exceptable

Time sensitive package delayed, after arriving in final destination cityIt was shipped then to another stateWhen I offered to pick it up myself they said that I couldn't and just had to endure the delayThis is the 4th time this year they mishandled a package of mine, and 2nd one being time sensitive

Where to start? UPS is very irresponsible with freight shipments1st, we shipped a crate to a customer in Florida, the customer received the crate in bad condition and his wife was coerced to sign off on the delivery receipt by the UPS driverThen, at the advise of our UPS sales associate, we re-shipped the same crate to the same address, labeled fragile and be careful everywhere , even on UPS's system, and it arrrived in EVEN WORSE condition as the first oneUPS's response for this was "file a claim" and then make us wait for (now over 5months) with no resolution or payment
EVEN THOUGH UPS HAS ACKNOLODGE THAT THEIR MISHANDLING WAS THRU THE ATLANTA TERMINAL, THEY HAVE YET TO PAY OUT ON OUR CLAIMSAll we get is excused and "it takes time" over and over againWell, it took a very short time to damage the items we shipped with you, you could at least be quick with the restitution, right? Instead, UPS continually delays payment and even has the audacity to askf or payment on the shipping fees of BOTH BROKEN ITEMSIs this the type of shipping company you want on your side? When we signed up with UPS , the sales rep said that if there was any issue or damage, the claims would be paid promptlyHe assured us of all this but it was all a sense of securityUPS has a lot of problems in their Freight Division, I urge you to be careful with their freight services and locate outside insurance to cover you in the case of any damage, because their claims department is as irresponsible and slow as they come

Recently my dad, sister and I all ordered new phones through ATT as we were all using "dumb phones" to put it kindly and it was our first time getting smart phones and joining the rest of society First of all when I called and ordered it on a Saturday and we were talking about shipping I asked about priority shipping and the helper told me that it would be unnecessary as they will get it out to me as soon as possible either way and that I should have my phone anytime between Wednesday and this Saturday which is a a total of 4-daysSo everyday between Wednesday and today my dad and sister have been waiting for their phones and UPS had not been sending it, the delivery date originally said Wednesday so they made sure to be home to receive it but no package came, same thing again Thursday no package, etcIt keeps going back and fourth in their center to cities that don't even make sense and we have been calling them back and fourth and getting no whereWhen my dad called them again on Friday they said they couldn't deliver it before MondayWhen my dad talked to ATT the same day Friday someone promised it could come by Saturday because my dad requested him to send another new phone overnight so they could have it by today and he said it wasn't necessaryWe were really upset because we had been waiting on these phones for almost days before they came and each time we called nothing was being resolvedI kept asking for overnight shipping and was willing to even pay more just to get it as soon as possibleThe other reason this was so frustrating was because when we orderd the phones she started out data plan and I wanted that delayed until my dad and my sister get their new phones because they can't even use it! It has just been such a hassle waiting at home for this package for the last week and then having to call back and fourth each day!

I see the UPS driver from my window last night at 7:30p and send my fiance down to meet the driver who he encounters in the apartment building elevatorNo access issues to the building this time...He sees the driver has only one package for another tenant and asks if there's any other deliveriesDriver states no, trying to finish route and go home for the night, and leavesDriver must have found in truck after other delivery and decides to not attempt, writes a door tag and leavesNow if you can take two minutes to write a door tag, why can't you take two more minutes to deliver instead of me staying up all night last night and today too? And not just a hour block of time but all day? And why couldn't you give me the option to pickup at the access location at the pharmacy on JFK Blvd., like you did for another customer that you left a door tag for last night above where you put my door tagAnd the original delivery was scheduled for 11/but UPS decides to reschedule it for 11/without notifying the company I purchased from to let me know or let me know directly? So why is there a constant issue delivering to me? You don't use the building intercom system and you change delivery dates and times without notifying the customerThis is not the first time there were problems, this is the first time I am stating to the Revdex.com a reviewLast delivery was the same issue and the two guys you sent back with my package were rude to me telling me on the intercom I need to come down and get my package and were rude to another lady at my building who was pregnant and couldnt carry a tall furniture package who you both refused to assistThere is a serious problem with customer service here

I have a package that was SUPPOSED to be picked up by UPS on Tues., Nov29th., to go to *** When it wasn't picked up by Wed., Nov30th, I called them The 1st lady I spoke with couldn't give me any information, the lady she transferred me to told me I would receive a call back within an hour I waited over hours & called again The man who took my call DEMANDED that I give him my credit card number to pay for the pick up fee I insisted on speaking with a supervisor WHEN the supervisor FINALLY got on the phone, I was informed that *** had paid the fee and my package would be picked up before MIDNIGHT! Not only, have they still not called me back, but they also have NOT picked up my package I can't find any phone numbers to contact someone about this I'm SUPPOSED to be out today, paying my bills, but now I have to stay home and wait for them!

Ordered two items which were promised to be delivered by 12/ When they didn't arrive as promised, I contacted UPS since by tracking the packages I learned they were already in my city I asked to have them put on hold and I would pick them up at their warehouse The UPS representative gave me the physical address where they were located THEY WEREN'T THERE! I once again called UPS and it turns out the physical address I was given was wrong They were in yet another location an hour away(Or so they said) I asked for the packages to be once again, delivered On 12/one package was listed all day as "on truck out for delivery TODAY" so I stayed home to wait for it Nothing Now it's back to being "in transit." As for the other package, who knows Even *** representative contacted UPS to resolve delivery time and had no luck The last UPS representative I spoke with was rude, extremely unprofessional, and blamed the delay of the delivery on President-Elect Donald Trump! Any online item I order in the future I will make sure is NOT being delivered by UPS If it is the only way to receive it, I will not purchase it

I am now 2/with UPS packages mysteriously going missingI don't have this issue with USPS or FedEx, which leads me to believe the personnel for this company are lacking integrityUPS' response each time my package has gone missing has essentially been, "idk, talk to the company you bought it from." Even though each time the last place my packages were for sure were in transit with themI am disgusted by the service as well as bad business practices I have witnessed and I will be sure to spread the word to ANYONE It may concern that UPS not only has a theft problem but does not seek to resolve the issue

I had my passport shipped via the 2-day shipment of UPSThe website of UPS claims this to be secure and reliableUnfortunately, my passport got lost (well, still under investigation)If I didn't bother to track it, I would not have been able to know this happenedI sent another mail on the same day via the usual USPS delivery (w/o tracking), and they were able to deliver that mailI would NEVER trust UPS with important documents anymoreNot even their supposed secure shipment
People pay "premium" for shipments like this and yet this happensTheir system should have picked up that my package sent via a 2-day shipment has had the same status for week, which was "a label has been created and ready for UPS." Their system should automatically flag these kinds of shipments and investigate right away to mitigate potential lossI have lost my chance to see my parents in Canada this Christmas, and I have not seen them for yearsThe plane fare to Canada, which cost me over $600, will also be a waste because of thisTo get another passport, I have to travel all the way to Chicago, pay an additional $and wait for 4-weeksAll because UPS lost my package

Yet the doorbell was not rang or the door knocked on and surprise surprise no package I am lout $dollars

I've already spent almost hours working with UPS customer service to try to get a simple issue resolved, so I'll keep this complaint short
I emailed the issue to UPSUPS did not address the issueI called UPS and asked for manager for issue resolution...spent 40+ minutes on hold and with manager (mostly on hold)Manager said they would get back with me shortly7+ hours passed no reply from managerCalled UPS again, still on hold with them now on hold for 55+ minutes so far to speak with a manager? any manager (it's taken so long I asked customer service associate to help - Gloria, but she could not and did not)Horrible customer service

The only mail carriers who do things right! I had packages stolen from my front porch and upon calling them, they had the delivery guy back to our house within an hourThey showed concern and wanted to do everything to helpTheir website is also very user friendly and actually allowed me to ensure that all packages will be delivered to the back of the house, where *** and *** make that impossibleThe biggest problem that I've ever experienced with them, is that they delivered packages earlier than expected

As a small business owner, I have sent and received several packages The packages arrive in excellent condition and in a timely matter When my business first opened, I quickly learned to request that items be sent by way of UPS if possible We have only had one driver for multiple years He has great personality and is always helpful The driver for the competition has also usually been very good, although they have gone through multiple drivers Packages are sometimes damaged and always take an extra day or two at least These findings have been consistent with personal packages as well

Absolutely horrific experience with UPS, UPS Store, and Corporate Customer Relations
I will make this short and sweet because I am honestly too tired to tell the entire story againHere it goes:
I paid UPS an additional $to package the inch TV I just sold so that it arrives without incident
UPS packs and then ships the TV from the UPS Store I brought the TV to
Buyer reports that the TV and box it came in was damaged
I request an investigation into the incident
UPS comes back with a damage report stating that the TV and box were in fact damagedREMINDER: UPS PACKAGED THE TV (AND I PAID $FOR IT)
UPS proceeds to pick up the TV from the buyer and returns it to their warehouse in Kentucky
The item is now LOST!!!
UPS, PACKED, SHIPPED, DAMAGED AND THEN LOST OUR PACAKGE!!!
During this fun game with UPS was going on, we were repeatedly reassured by UPS corporate that this was being taken care ofIT HAS NOT BEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This review about the UPS store and UPS in generalStores are franchises, so the quality varies widely
UPS as a company- if all goes well they get the package where it's supposed to go on time -- but that's the minimum you expect
Short strokes, I left a next day air package with the store in plenty of time to go out that dayThey apparently failed to get it out, so it didn't get to UPS till the next day, so it got delivered lateUPS has refused to offer a service guarantee.*
This store itself is clean and neat, the staff is generally friendly and helpful, I would give the staff or starsBut prices are way too high, you can open an account easily with UPS and pay much less, or use the post office direct, and printing and similar services they offer are availmuch cheaper and better at officemax or many other local locationsTry Diamond Springs PO, less busy than Placerville
* If things don't go so well, late, lost, damaged, they are consistently a nightmare to deal with, I always dread having to communicate with them, as in getting a service guaranteeI am a mail order business so I do a LOT of shippingUnfortunately there's just not a lot of alternative shipping choices, FedEx is only a little better and not too good in this area,
I use the postal service whenever possible- they also screw up occasionally, but my experiences with damage and lost package claims has been very smooth with themAnd as a percentage of packages sent, I have far fewer issues

The delivery driver do not even care to use buzzer codeI was supposed to receive a package week ago which I didn'tI went to pick it up at their access point and they require utility bill on the same delivery addressI called and explained them my situation and they placed in a re-delivery request and did not receive it on the proposed timeCalled them to verify and in reply somebody again called from their local office and said we have too many deliveries until next week and asked me to pick it up at their warehouseI asked for the warehouse address and he said it will be updated online which didn't get updated yetI called the customer support again today and they asked me to pick it up at the access point which requires utility bill There are other services dependent (Internet) on this package and I will have to reschedule everythingIt took me days to schedule internet installation last time One of the most complicated service

I have had wonderful service from the driver who services my home at *** *** Lane in Deltaville, Va
He is a great guy and a wonderful asset to your company

THE WORST!
Won't bore you with all the details but for the 3rd day now have been trying to find the package that was supposed to have been delivered to me Contacted corporate (the 1-number) and the local center The answer that I got is "we don't know where your package is but it will show up eventually" Wow - really? I thought you guys were in the business of tracking and delivering packages? Guess not - at least not well I will absolutely never use UPS again

I've had addresses in the past years and I have to say, the service is always greatTwice I've been really lucky and had the sweetest UPS man, older gentlemanNever had stolen items
