Had a package placed on a hold, so it wouldn't be delivered to my home, incompetence, apparently, sent the package back out on a truck to be delivered, which wasn't delivered because no one was home!!!! Went to pick it up, wasn't there! Will never use UPS again

My package (Tracking number ***) wasn't delivered according to the schedule and the notifications from the UPSInstead it wasn't delivered at all and I got the falsified notification from by the UPS : "We tried to deliver your package but could not leave it without a signature." Really? I witnessed the whole scenario of laziness and lying by the "greatest "UPS employees
On December 07, after I saw the brown UPS truck outside of my building I immediately stepped outside to finally get my packageIt was around 15:EST (that's the time when UPS comes into my area) Here I am standing outside of my apartment in the rain awaiting for (TWO!) not one but TWO employees (male and female) finishing delivering packages to my neighbors at the end of my buildingI begun walking towards them but they got back in the truck and drove away passing meThe female employee was driving and male employee was sitting in the jump-seat
A few minutes later I received an email saying: "We tried to deliver your package but could not leave it without a signatureWe will take your package to DR PHONE FIX on 12/08/and let you know when it is ready to be picked up."
Are you kidding me? That day I cancelled an appointment so I wont miss the UPS delivery with a very important packageNow I have to wait another day, cancel more of my appointments, then spend my valuable time driving to the remote UPS locations during my work hoursAnd all that because of the "wonderful hard working" UPS employees that were too lazy to deliver another package in the rain then lie about it? The next day, on my way to the remote UPS location I've met the regular UPS delivery person for my area ( for a little over years)He stated that he saw my package at that place and questioned the initial delivery people about it They also lied to him saying they were at my door day beforeWhere is a sticky door note regarding the status of the package then? What a shame!
There is more into itA few hours later (19:EST), after I became available, I've contacted the UPS customer service on the phoneI spend min explaining the incident and the customer service rep Francis (who was very pleasant and helpful) did file a complaint for meShe said that I will receive a phone call or email-follfrom the UPS within hrsAlso my package will be re-delivered to my apartmentInstead , the next day at 10:36am EST I received a phone call from someone with no name stating that my UPS package is at the remote location and ready to be pickedNo so much for the delivery to my door, huh?
There is no option on the UPS.com website to file a complaintI guess they receive so many of them that decided not to give this option to UPS users
First of all, I would like an apology from the UPS management
Second, I would like the above mentioned employees to be counseled, may put them through extra training
Third, I would like a credit on my UPS account for a future shipment

Completely unexceptable! I am a small business ownerMy place of business is just for storage of my material and all of my jobs are on customer locations so I am not at my shop often and I can not have someone here to sign for a packageYet UPS will not let me sign a waiver to have the packages left! However if I was just a residential customer, this would not be a problemWhat a load of crap! I needs these shipments to do my job! Thanks UPS for nothing!

Absolutely awful experienceAfter extending their promised delivery day from the 25th to the 28th, the company refused to allow me to pick up the product earlyTracking details didn't update for hrs, with a departure on the 23rd from my city, to an arrival again in my city on the 25th
Customer service on the phone was useless, repeating the same things again and againSupervisor was unable to assist in anyway
The next day my order was then delayed again, now not to be deliver till later in the weekEither the company is partaking retribution or is incompetent

I received a package that was delivered by UPS,the outer box had been opened and taped back up when I opened the box to take out a cellphone the phone was missing.I contacted UPS only to be told that there is really no way of tracking what employee stole the phone.I find this totally unacceptable and will file a police report myself.I would not recommend UPS service to anyone since they do not hold their employees responsible for stealing

On 12/a package was delivered to my house I wasn't homeThe driver left a notice stating the package will be dropped off at the Drop Off Store the next dayI go to the Drop Off store and the package wasn't thereI called the number and the person informed me to come the Forster Street Office in Brooklyn to pick up packageI go to the Forster Street Office they informed me they are short staffIs this my problemAfter hour the Supervisor came out to tell me the driver never took the package to the Drop Off Store and the package in locked on truck until TuesdayMy daughters Christmas is destroyedI will never order from a company that uses UPS

UPS should be put out of businessThey are ridiculousThe worst customer serviceTheir driver on 9/16/delivered a package to the wrong town that was minutes away from where it was supposed to be deliveredThey refused to deliver it on Saturday because it wasn't an item that had paid "saturday delivery"Um, if you're delivering packages anyway and you messed up why not put it on the truck on Saturday? They stated it wouldn't be delivered until MondayThe issue was I wasn't goingt to even be in Virginia anymore after the weekendI called *** and they put in for it to be shipped to where I would be in North CarolinaUPS had on their site I would get it on 09/20/I didn't get it and it updated it to 9/21/The issue being I won't be here to sign for itI called multiple times trying to get some kind of resolution, but I haven't had anyThere was one helpful person that said I can sign up for my choice and have it authorized to not have a signatureSo I tried that, well it wouldn't let meI chatted in only to be transferred to tech support (mind you I had waited miunutes for customer service and another for tech) The tech agent was rude and said I couldn't use my choice because of the address changeSo she sent me BACK to customer serviceWhere I was told nothing could be done until it arrived to the facilityI could then call again and have it requested to be delivered in a certain windowImagine my frustrations when I called and was told she couldn't do thatTo which I told her yes, she could and I need it to happen because I was supposed to get this package on Friday and then yesterday and now today I will be at workShe finally reluctantly agreed to send my informatioin to the delivery center and said I'll get a phone call within the hour, I'm not holding my breathShe also tried to say the reason for the screw up is the shipper had the wrong addressI corrected her and said no it's because your driver delivered it to the wrong address and the shipper had to change it because you refused to deliver it on saturday when I would still be at that address I've never had to work so hard just to get a package and product that I paid for! Their customer service never has any resolution and is not helpful at allThe only thing they say is "I'm sorry for the inconvenience"I wonder how much they get paid to just say that one line?

I have just lost two days wages waiting around for a UPS delivery I was told on Mon evening it was coming Tue, but it didn't show I was told Tue sorry about that, it will be delivered Wed I called at 5pm to see where my pkg was and was told it would be delivered by pm Called at 7:and spent mins only to be told sorry about that It should be Thur now The customer service at UPS is horrible, as is there delivery service This is only the most recent of many problems I've had with them I will never use them again if I have a choice

I have multiple packages that are overdue to be delivered by UPSI have been told for three days that my package is on the truck for delivery yet still haven't received any packages I was now told today that today is actually the first day it is out for delivery Apparently I have been lied to by UPS for three days Even their tracking website said it was out for delivery the last three days I still don't have any of my packages

Delivered someone else's package to my doorDidn't ring the doorbell, didn't knock, instead I just heard and felt a massage slam against my doorI went to it immediately to see him driving away I called the "Domestic Services within Canada" line only to be automatically sent to the American lines, and after jumping through the automated hoops and finally talking to someone I had to get transferred over to the international lines and then it was a hassle giving them the information on the packageJust a sy business all around with how they run and are consistently the worst delivery people in town They never wait at the door and in this case it may be that they threw the package at the door given how heavy it is and how loud that slam was against the houseI hope nobody was expecting anything undamaged

Access Point had no power next day so they could not confirm where my package was
I called to track my package and spoke with a representative from IndiaHe confirmed he was not in the USA and when I asked for a confirmation to be emailed to me regarding package to be held at a facility - he said email would arrive in minutesNo such email ever arrived
I called for the 2nd time, no record of my previous request nor conversation was in the system
Manager was unable to confirm where my package was and if it could be picked up because the Access Point had lost power and they were effectively shut down - per the words of Tony (mgr.) No bagenerator at the Access Point to keep the customers' parcels safe and secure????? No guarantee that if I did the job UPS should do (deliver a package), that the Access Point would be open

UPS - cannot ever do their job I abhor this company and will avoid using at all costs I will not work with vendors who use *** rocks and their follow through and customer service options are the best bar none

years ago, UPS delivered a package to the wrong houseA claim was filedNow every time a package gets delivered someone has to sign for itRecently UPS has been committing fraud, by stating that customer has called requesting pick upThis started after my father refused to sign for a package, addressed to him, that the UPS driver gave him, and the shipper had not requested a signature forThe UPS supervisor called the police on himComplaints to UPS have gone unresolved, have also filed complaints with the FTC, and Revdex.com as wellJust yesterday, found out that a package (perishable items) is being held at the local facility in Sumter, SC "At Customers Request" again (nobody called to set this up), which we were expecting to be deliveredWe are considering all avenues in dealing with UPSAs of this date UPS has failed to resolve this long standing issue, we have yet to get a call from senior management at the facility or from AtlantaAfter being told on numerous occasions that someone would call from local facility

I was supposed to receive a package from San Antonio to Kansas The package was in an envelope....it was scanned in times from the time it arrived in Kansas at the warehouse Supposed to be delivered that day the package tracking came up with "receiver request for pickup"! I didn't request to pick anything up I live minutes from the warehouse When I tracked down the warehouse they told me it may be because I lived in a newer neighborhood! Not the case...my house was built in the 1970's There was so explanation as to why this was done! She apologized and let it be known it would be delivered the next day After the package didn't show the following day I called again! She said she had people on it and had looked herself and the package was missing! Told me the only thing that could have happened was that because it was an envelope it was probably caught in the belt! Told me to call ups number and file a tracker
Called customer service...NO HELP!

In all the years I've used UPS this is the first time that this happensDuring all my college years I received books with very few problems but this time I've hadI am waiting for a present and it this is the second day that the UPS tracking system claims that my street number is wrongI clicked on 'correct my address' but there was nothing to correct, okay, so today I thought that they were going to finally deliver my package but no, once again I see that 'wrong street number' messageI contact the UPS costumer service through e-mail and they give my number to my local facility (McAllen, TX), this is where things get uglyI get a call from a private caller, and a really condescending lady asks me about my address I confirm that the address is correct and has always been now when I proceed to give her a description of the cars outside the house, which are very noticeable and usually have been helpful when FEDEX is trying to find my house, she interrupts me and asks me if the number of the house is visible I tell her no, and I continue trying to explain her that the cars make better landmarks for the house she abruptly interrupts me and tells me to put the number where it can be seen and hangs upNow, I understand and I know that I had to put the number but I was trying to her instructions for the driver so this whole 'wrong street number' deal doesn't happen againI also wanted to ask if I could even receive a call when the driver was on his way so I could wait outside but she didn't even let me finishIf my package doesn't come tomorrow or comes damaged it won't surprise meThese people seem extremely unprofessional and even petty

My experience with UPS here in Nashville, TN has been that of having to go the last mile for the pickup The drivers aren't allowed enough time to actually bother to knock so instead they just leave an infonotice and run When you call corporate they just put it back in the hands of the local staff who continue to promote the practice of drop note and run
And speaking of going that last mile, expect to wait 45-minutes while they try to find your package if they did remember to pull it off the truck
I'd think it was just UPS but I had no problems with UPS when I was in Austin, TX earlier this year so this definately is just an issue with this region that the corporate office refuses to fix

Drivers do not understand how to call customers or follow the very basic instructions of leave the parcel at the doorCustomer service representatives like to give you empty assurances that you will get your package on time even though you wontI paid $for next day shipping and bussiness days later I still havent gotten it because they dont know how to follow simple directions

I have never in my life have been given so many wrong turns as I have in dealing with UPS's customer serviceI purchased an item from ebay on October 18thInitially it was to be delivered to my door on October 23rdI did not want the driver to leave this package at my door so I changed the delivery to an access point(UPS Store) near meFor some reason it was changed to hold for a later delivery timeI called customer service on October 24th and was told it was sitting at the Phoenix hubI went to that location and to my surprise it wasn't thereThe agent at the counter gave me an address and a phone number of a warehouse where my package should beI called customer service again and spoke with a supervisorHe told me the the package was still in West VirginiaHe contacted a supervisor at that facility where the package was found and was suppose to be changed to day shippingI was promised I would receive the package by October 30thOn October 30th I called customer service AGAIN and asked why I wasn't getting my package on the 30thIt was still in transit and wouldn't receive it until November 2ndThe supervisor in West Virginia neglected to change the shipping to daySo after all is said and done my package has taken over weeks to go from West Virginia to Phoenix, AZThe package I ordered is archery equipment and I needed time to set it up for a hunt that was planned months ago for the weekend of October 31stI had to cancel the hunt and lose $deposit because UPS cant send a pound package from West Virginia to Phoenix, AZ in less than weeks "We Love Logistics" should be "We love Providing Customers With Logistical Nightmares"
