Harvest Moon Loans Reviews (145)

Review: On 11/1/2013 this company provided a 200 dollar payday to my account then proceeded to collect 92.76 on 1/14/2013 then again on 11/29/2013 and this continued on twice a month until present the last withdrawl was on 5/1/2014 to date the have collected 1,205.88 from me for a 200 dollar payday loan. I feel as if they have taken more from my account than neccessary for a small payday loan. And to get a response from this company is pretty much impossible.Desired Settlement: I would like to see my account credited the excess amount that this company has taken from me.

Review: I took out a payday loan with this company for $300.00. They said with fees I would owe $439.44, and that instead of paying it at one time it could be extended to pay it off. I have been charged 5 times different fees which add up to $560.00. I have never been late nor had a return check. I am simply asking that my account be considered paid in full and I not be debited. It is unfair to keep charging me for a loan I have more than paid off. They are stealing from me, though the loan has been settled. It is impossible to get in touch with them. I waited on hold for a total of 3 hours trying to speak with a live representative.Desired Settlement: I am simply asking for the loan to be considered paid in full and my account to stop being debited. I no longer want this company to call or have access to my information. I feel as if because I was in desperate need, I was taken advantage of. I really had lost count until I looked back at my bank statement and realized that they have more than been compensated for the $300.00 loan, and I have also covered the fees as well.

I applied for a loan and was referred to Harvest Moon. After only a couple of hours later I was harrassed with phone calls to the point where I just wanted to cancel my application. The woman on the phone kept asking why I wanted to cancel it, ignoring my reasons and ignoring my request. I finally gave up on answering their calls and now they're TEXTING me! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

Contacted this company while on vacation, company asked me to go to a website and put in a code. I followed their directions and it pulled up my personal bank account login page. I then checked the Revdex.com and found that they had negative reports and unresolved issues. I warn anyone who attempts to do business with this company to beware and check them out before you let them access your account. I did not do this thankfully.

Review: I have tried on several occasions to contact Harvest Moons to pay back loan. Harvest Moon continuously is renewing my loan but not allowing me to pay the full amount. I've wasted time and money trying to fix this issue. They are now taking money out with out my permission. I have also had to pay fees to my bank to now place stop payments for future. Upon research I found that they are illegal in most states and considered a scam.Desired Settlement: Since I have paid both renewal fees to them and fees to my bank for something that I should of been able to handle right away. I would consider my loan of 100 paid.

Review: I was approved for a $200 payday loan. The approval was on 8/26/2013 which with interest charge the pay back was supposed to be $290.78 due on 8/30/2013. On 8/27/2013 I extended the loan to 9/13/2013. The finance charge of $90.78 was supposed to come out of my bank account on 8/30/2013. I called at least 20 times but went straight to voicemail every time and I have sent emails labeled URGENT to customer service also I have sent a fax to them. All with no returned calls, emails, or faxes. As of 9/13/2013 NONE of the money has been drafted from my account and cannot reach anyone. At this point I do not believe that I should be charged the extra finance charge because they have not drafted my account as the agreement stated nor made any effort to contact me in this matter. I just want it to be settled so I do not have to deal with this shady company anymore.Desired Settlement: To be contacted and settle the debt in a reasonable manner. To have some kind of correspondence do I do not get charged money that is not in the agreement.

Review: They some how got my personal information set up a loan took money out of my account.it was about 3 times the amount of false loan then I paid them an additional 100 to close out false loanDesired Settlement: I want the money they stole from me refunded

Review: I have been dealing with this company since last year with no issues or complaints, recently I took out a loan for $300 I didn't set up a buy down but harvest moon insisted I did they took $257 out of my account after they told me only $205 should've been taken out of my check. They refused to do any trying about the overage that they took and hung up on me.I woke up today to$205 being taken out of my account I called in and was placed on hold for30 minutes then hung upon .I have paid over $400for a $300loan I understand there are finical fees but I didn't authorize them to take these amounts out of my accountDesired Settlement: I would like for this company to no longer take any money out of my account I have paid over $400for a $300dollar loan and when I call in I'm placed on hold forever and no one can explain why all this money is continuing to be drafted from my account

This company is an absolute rip off the should not be legally authorized to do business will the public. They illegally withdraw money out of your account several times even when your loan is paid in full I paid 500$ for a damn two hundred dollar loan .everyone that works for the company is incompetent. This company needs to be shut down, their horrible theives that pretty on hard working ppl.

Review: I was told a completely different amount of money for a finance fee than what is being charged. I was lied to about he process of how their fees work and have now paid double what was supposed to be paid, and still owe the original amount.Desired Settlement: I have paid more than the originally agreed amount and want the account settled.

Review: I was approved for a $200.00 loan back in august 2014. They have been debiting money out of my account since in the amount of $46.38 every 2 weeks. I have tried contacting them but every time I do I get placed on hold and cant speak with someone. I have paid back well over my $200.00 which has ended up being almost $500.00. I think this company may actually be a scam..I have now had to cancel my checking account and now I don't have one at all since this company keeps trying to take money out and they have put me in the negative since I stopped depositing my paycheck into my accounts.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to refund me the extra $200.00 I paid the company back asap and I will pay the overdraft fees that I have acquired due to this company! I would also like my account closed.

Review: I have contacted the company multiple times regarding payments on a loan I obtained and due to an injury I was taken off work and pay was not given so I contacted them regarding payment arrangements until I was able to resume normal payments. The company did not honor the arrangements that were discussed and continued to try to take payments from my account and was constantly causing me overdrafts which they refused to refund. Each time I received a email advising of the said deductions and I again contacted them via email and repeated calls and all the agents I spoke with refused me assistance and would not allow me to speak with a manager or even provide me their information. When I advised of my intent to file this complaint they simply said go ahead.Numerous request and messages left for supervisors were never returned.Desired Settlement: I wish all the nsf fees I was charged to be refunded and any additional fees I accured as a result of the companies blatant disregard for my repeated request to not try to debit my account to be waived, I am willing to repay the original amount of the loan and will then have no further business with their predatory unscrupules company.I am also request an apology from the disrespectful employees they have.

Review: HARVEST MOON KEEPS TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY CHECKING ACCOUNT EVEN AFTER PAID THERE LOAN OFF, PROBABLY SIX MONTHS, NOW. I HAVE ASKED THEM TWICE TO STOP AND THEY CONTINUE.Desired Settlement: STOP TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AND MAYBE PAY ME BACK THANKS

Review: My compliant is about multiple problems. I believe it was a bait and switch scheme. I requested a payday loan in the amount of $200 on 10/28/2014. I was told that I would have four payments to pay off my loan. I was told it would be approximately $400.

To date (1/21/2015) I have paid $575 dollars back but apparently I somehow still owe $298 on the principal amount. I requested to receive itemized statement mailed to my home address and they have refused. Once I asked for a printed bill the customer support person said, "I am unable to help you with that request." She then hung up on me. According to my internet log-in of my account it says I owe nothing. I have an account balance of zero, but according to the representative I still owe $298. On principal only not including interest.

I am not sure how that math works or how this company is even allowed to be in existence.Desired Settlement: I would like my bill to be fixed, but more importantly, I would like this company to be audited and their practices to be screened. This seems like predatory lending to an extreme.

Review: In late September my family was in a rough situation and I absolutely needed to try and get a small loan. After filling out some online forms and a few phone calls, I was awarded a $300 "payday" loan from Harvest Moon Loans on 10/1/15.

An employee called me that day or the day after to set up how I would be paying off the loan. I gave them my checking account information and agreed to a bi-weekly payment to pay it off as quickly as possible.

The original balance on the $300 loan was $500, so I knew that I would be done paying it off sometime around December 11th, 2015.

I was laid off from work on December 23rd, 2015, causing me to crack down and examine my expenses. That's when I noticed I was still being charged bi-weekly by Harvest Moon. I was even charged as late as December 24th.

I spoke with a representative right away, who informed me that my balance owed on the loan had not changed, and remained at $500. She told me that all of my payments(all $840 worth) were only "service charges", issued for "not contacting Harvest Moon to set up my loan payments".

When telling her that I DID in fact set up my payments, she hung up the phone. The next operator I connected with placed me on hold, and then hung up the phone. The third time I immediately requested a manager and was placed on hold. After 10 minutes, they returned saying the manager was unavailable and would call me back. I never got a call back, big surprise.

To summarize: I've paid $840 towards a $300 loan over the course of 3 months and my balance owed on the loan NEVER CHANGED. When confronted, the company simply ignored me, and even continued to try charging me. I've since put a hold on those payments through my bank, but I grossly overpaid on this loan by about $340 due to disreputable business tactics. I NEVER received any phone call, or email about these fees, and that's because they didn't even want me knowing about it. Harvest Moon's only defense is simply stating that I "didn't call them".Desired Settlement: Since they literally won't talk to me about this issue, because they know I'm right, I have requested that the Revdex.com forwards my request for a RESOLUTION.

My proposed resolution is:

1) Use the $840 I have paid them to PAY OFF THE LOAN. My credit is also taking a hit from this mistake.

2) Return some or ALL of the amount of money I overpaid by.

Review: I have on several occasions gone to Harvest Moon Loans website and have tried to log in to my account to no avail. I have requested a password change to be sent to me on several occassions with not response. I have emailed customer service to send me a new password. I want a copy of my loan documents as they are deducting payments on days I do not get paid and are causing me overdraft fees. When you call their toll free number you are placed on hold and told they "are experiencing a high volumn of calls and wait in longer then 10 minutes" then phone disconnect you. I want a password and want copies of my loan documents.Desired Settlement: I want a copy of my loan documents that I signed and new password sent to my email at:[redacted]

Review: I received a loan firm Harvest Moon Loans and had scheduled a payoff off date of June 13, 2013 which was confirmed processed in an email sent to me on June 4, 2013 at 1:14pm. At 5pm on received a payment reminder that my loan was being extended and they were only charging me their processing fee of $149.14 on June 13, 2013 instead of the full payoff amount and rescheduled my payoff date to June 27, 2013 with additional processing fees. I have attempted to contact them to fix this error via 3 separate emails, a fax and two phone calls which I had to leave voicemails. There has been no response to my inquiry and I continue to receive emails saying my loan is being extended. I do not wish to extend my loan any longer nor should I be responsible for any additional fees after June 13, 2013Desired Settlement: I would like them to return my calls and accept my full payment on June 13, 2013 and be down with them with no further deductions from my account after June 13, 2013

Response:

Hello

Although Harvest Moons never returned my emails or phone calls they did debit my full loan amount on the date I requested and closed the account with no additional fees, therefore this matter was handled to my satisfaction.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Review: I was approves for a payday loan of $100.00 in July 30 2013. Two weeks after I recieved the loan, I made a request via phone on a voicemail system trying to pay it in full. The disclosure claims that in order to do this Harvest Moon had to be notified 3 days in advance. I called the number provided and recieved a voicemail. I left a message to have the entire amount debited from my account. Everytime I call the business phone number I get a voicemail, and can never get a option to speak with a live person. Instead, since then, Harvest Moon has bee taking just the refinance amount from my account. The amount varies but is around $46.38 each time, every two weeks. As of today there has been 5 ACH withdrawls from my account. I have left numerous of messages and emails regarding this issue. My next step is to freeze my account from any more debits. I have repaid this loan 2xs more than what I borrowed. I will never recomment this service to anyone or will I ever use any service of this kind via internet again.Desired Settlement: I don't want anything more than for these debits to stop coming out of my account as I have requested numerous of times. The loan was requested to be paid off via phone and e-mail and Harvest Moon never responded nor did they complete my request. Since then I have debits out of my account totaling $232.29

These people need to be shut down by the Revdex.com. I paid them and they are still charging my account. When I emailed customer service the email came bank with error saying unknown. You can never get a customer service person on the phone. They are big scams and should be investigated.

Review: I took out a loan for $100.. I was approved for said loan and pay back 145.78 (45.78 in intrest and blah blah) I first agreed to pay back the loan on 2/17/2015 in full for the amount of $145.78 My direct depost hits my bank the day before. My payday this week being on 2/17.. With Monday 2/16 being a holiday my money would not be in the back until after 9:30AM on 2/17 and Harvest Moon states they take the money at 12:00AM on the 2/17. I called twice to ask to move my payment back to 2/18 for fear of my account being overdrafted.. Never got a call or an e-mail back.. I actually got luck and I got paid today and I call harvest moon and tell them I got paid early and I want to make the payment today instead of on 2/17. They put me on hold for almost 30 MINUTES as I am waiting I am looking at my account where I borrowed the money and the screen refreshes and shows paid and ZERO balance and It says PAID. Now, its not showing anyplace in my checking account that harvest moon has a pending transaction.. A woman finally gets on the phone with me after atleast 45 minutes of being on hold... I am told by her (in a very snotty voice) they cannot accpect payment today that its arranged to come out of my bank on 2/17.. I told her I looking at my screen and see $0.00 balance and PAID.. She tells me "no!" The transaction is PENDING.. There is no transaction pending at my bank. They will not accpect an early payment.. I'm afraid they are going to screw up my checking account becase of lack of communication and CSR's that cant speak ENGLISH!!!!Desired Settlement: take your 145.78 and NOT A PENNY MORE!
