Heat Depot, The

[redacted], the service technician from The Heat Depot called this morning and alerted me to his arrival time. He arrived at the time he stated and went right to work. He was courteous, checked and cleaned the heat elements on the furnace and then reported to me how the furnace checked out for our winter needs. He then winterized our swamp cooler. [redacted] was thorough and explained what he was doing. He was a very polite young man got right to work and did his job. If all The Heat Depot's employees are that good I would say you have a strong company and I am glad to have a service contract with you.

This was our first experience with The Heat Depot (found on [redacted]) and were extremely pleased with the initial phone call from Russell explaining the cost for our furnace tune-up. Russell was very polite and sold me instantly. It got even better when HVAC tech Austin showed up as scheduled, on time and even called prior to let me know he was on his way. Austin was a pleasure to have in our home. He was thorough, very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing in detail in a way that was understandable. He even took pictures of areas that are hard to see, so that he could explain what he was looking at and what needed to be done to extend the life of our old furnace. He took the time to get to know me as a customer and made the visit an overall excellent experience. We will definitely continue our business with The Heat Depot based on the initial call and the skillfulness of Austin. Thank you for being the kind of company that cares about your customers.

The owner[redacted] was awesome he came to our house and took the time to explain everything and he was very honest and even told us we could probably get another year out of the furnace if he cleaned it up but we decided to replace furnace and AC at the same time. I had 3 quotes[redacted] beat everyone one of them and was the only person that was knowledgeable and took his time and answered all of our questions. The 2 installers they came to our house were great they did an awesome job everything looks amazing and works great. I would highly recommend these guys for any heating, ac or plumbing needs. Its family owned and they care about the customer and they will beat anyone's price and they stand behind their work.

Heat Depot, Jason checked my furnace over today and I felt absolutely confident and so happy with his service. This was the first time I had Heat Depot check my furnace and I am so impressed that I will go to no other from here on out. He pointed out things that have not been done and that need to be taken care of soon. He even took pictures of the inside of my furnace and showed me what needed cleaning, etc. For years and years I had two other companies do their yearly cleaning, etc and now I realize that they were so negligent in their service. Heat Depot's service and price and customer service are unlike I've ever had in the past! they are fantastic and I am so grateful that I now have a company who I trust and who actually cares about their customers. Thank you Heat Depot!!

We've been customers of Solar Bear and now Heat Depot for a number of years, having purchased two furnaces, two humidifiers, and an air conditioner from them during that time for 2 separate homes. I have always found [redacted] and [redacted] pleasant to deal with, and today I met Jeff for our annual spring tuneup. All is well with our system, and I know it will continue to be with their excellent advice and service.

I just had Kyle from Heat Depot look at my boiler with the thought to replace it. I am now much more knowledgeable about what a boiler actually is, how they work, and what to watch for in order to make the most of what I have. I would definitely consider using Heat Depot again, and I would ask for Kyle.

On 10/7/16 Heat Depot sent technician Austin H. to my home for the yearly check-up on my furnace. My [redacted] furnace was installed on Oct. 10, 2011 and I have maintained yearly check-ups and install new filters regularly.
Austin supposedly cleaned my furnace and then showed me pictures of my furnace motor leaking oil and warned that my draft motor needed to be replaced. He then quoted prices of $746.72 to replace draft motor and $1,317.04 if I went ahead and replace both motors. Inasmuch as I had not problems with the furnace I was surprised at these prices. I told him I was leaving on vacation and would check with another company before making any decisions.
Today, I had the company that installed the original furnace check it out and was pleasantly surprised when they said I did not need any of the recommended replacements and that my furnace was in good shape.
I am filing this complaint because I am a senior citizen living on a limited income and could have been out almost $2,000!

Missed appointments, delays, never met commitments- Company called me with offer for AC/Furnace check and tune up. I agreed and appointment was set up. Prior to day of appointment, was called and told that needed to re-schedule due to other customers having issues. Agreed to re-schedule for Wed at 12 to 2PM. Took afternoon off from work, nobody shows up, call them and told someone coming, wait till 3 and call again, told someone is on the way, wait til 3:45, nobody shows up. wasted a vacation day. no call back. left message. no call back. This is a terrible customer service company.

The absolutely worst experience I have EVER had with a business. Their furnace guy came into my home Nov. 10, 2015 and caused me $400.00 damages. I discovered the damages after Thanksgiving and called the business owner and asked to be repaid. He said he would then later refused. He blamed my kids, but one was not in my home during this time and the other incapable of those damages. I also prepaid for 3 homes to be serviced. Nov. 29, 2015 the owner said he would refund my money. Dec. 14, I called my bank to dispute the remaining 2 prepayments which MY BANK refunded me Dec.15. They collected their funds from The Heat Depot. The owner refuses to talk to me about the $400.00. My good \"deal\" cost me $699.00. I have spoken with an attorney and will be seeking those fees. Save yourself a lot of stress and look elsewhere. Hopefully the Revdex.com takes this seriously because of the gravity of this incident. They know the whole story, but wouldn\'t disclose It in it\'s entirety.

I originally had Heat Depot come out to maintain my boiler through an [redacted] special. The technician was very knowledgeable and did a great job. He then showed me the problems with my boiler (which was very old) and recommended that I have it replaced. He was incredibly thorough and also discovered a small gas leak that I had been completely unaware of. I called[redacted] to verify the gas leak, then called Heat Depot and they promptly came out and repaired the leak.
The technician gave me a bid to replace the boiler and I had him add my water heater to the bid since it was the same age as the boiler and I had been considering its replacement for a while. His bid included both the boiler and a side-arm water heater. I got 3 additional bids from other companies, but chose Heat Depot. I am so glad I chose them! They did a fantastic job, got it done in one day, and cleaned up afterwards to the extent that I could hardly tell they had been there except for the new boiler and side-arm water heater. Over the next couple of days, I noticed the hot water to my kitchen sink took quite a while to get hot compared to what it was before everything was replaced. I called heat depot and they were out within a few days, found the problem, and fixed it immediately. Now the water gets hot within a few seconds, even better than it did before. The next day I discovered one of the zones in my house was not heating properly. Again, after I called Heat Depot, they were out within a couple of hours and located and fixed the problem. I have been exceedingly impressed with their responsiveness and promptness. They are a hard-working, knowledgeable, friendly, and cooperative crew with a great deal of technical expertise. The office personnel have been extremely courteous, understanding, and easy to work with.
I highly recommend Heat Depot!

I wish to express my appreciation and gratitude to everyone at The Heat Depot for the outstanding work they did for me. I got a new furnace, air conditioner, hot water heater, all-home humidifier and a dust/allergen collection system put in, and the price I paid fit my budget perfectly and their workmanship was fantastic. From Scott, who came out to assess my needs and give me a quote (the same day I inquired on Home Advisor), to the sheet metal workers, the contracted electricians, and the young man who cleaned my existing ducts, all were professional, polite, and we are very pleased with their work. They scheduled the work to fit with our schedules, they didn't rush their work and still completed all the work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend The Heat Depot to anyone looking to install a new system or upgrade their old system. GOOD JOB!

Very impressed!! called them and they showed up the same day, customer service was friendly and helpful! [redacted] and [redacted] were on the job as soon as they showed up and figured out the problem with my A/C in no time. They were very professional, knew what they were doing and you can't beat the price. Now I will call them for heating and cooling services.

We have a contract for maintenance of our heating/cooling systems with Heat Depot. Yesterday, a young man ([redacted]?) serviced our furnace. He provided a clear explanation of some very technical information about our system and provided needed repairs and parts. He was thorough, polite and very professional. Our old furnace runs better than ever. I am very pleased with our decision to trust Heat Depot.

I have been a customer with The Heat Depot for years [redacted] the owner and any of the staff I have worked with are friendly, fast and their price is very reasonable. [redacted] did a great job, made sure I understood what had been done and cleaned up after himself. I decided to add a whole home humidifier and [redacted] was here promptly the next morning to install it and replaced a bathroom fan. When he was done my garage floor was cleaner than when he got here. He also made sure I understood how they worked. Thank you Heat Depot for making things a little easier.

I have to say that after a couple of glitches with HEAT DEPOT they bent over backwards to make sure that everything was made right . Today 2 techs came out & was very thorough with the maintenance of my air conditioning [redacted] the two techs were very professional yet very personable & a pleasure. They explained what they were doing & let us know what parts we will be needing but they couldn't give us a time frame but they explained it's just one of those things that you never know. We had Casey come to our home and check our furnace. We SO appreciated his promptness in arriving on time, and calling before arriving. He was very knowledgeable and very personable. What we appreciated MOST was his honestly. He did not try to sell us a bunch of stuff or a new furnace, (even though ours is quite old). He found a couple of problems and fixed them. We will certainly call Heat Depot again....and ask that Casey be the one we work with! GREAT JOB.
