[redacted] was on-time, friendly, and knowledgeableHe quickly assessed and solved my problem...within minutes!!! I definitely will recommend Geekatoo and I will definitely call them again, if and when, I need them

My installer (for a Ring doorbell) was prompt in contacting me about my appointment and kept me informed about his arrival timeOnce at my residence, he was courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and invested the time required to do things rightHe ran into some difficulty for the Ring to work correctly which required more time than expectedBut, he patiently took the time necessary until all aspects of the Ring worked correctlyI will consider using HelloTech, and specifically this installer, for future tech needsI do appreciate this kind of service

Horrible in a wordThe "tech" walked in with working security camera's and they needed to be viewed once I left the property and my routers were not working properlyHe left with NOTHING working including security camera's from inside the houseHe changed all IP addresses then changed them back and my WIFI then was unsecuredI spent Thursday fixing what he messed up and reconnected my security camera'sHe admitted was not familiar with Verizon Fios and I placed a call to them twice, he JUST would NOT listenHe expected me to swallow the $bill and the WIFI extender he did not even touch and I was billed for that as wellI contacted Geekatoo on Saturday after a Verizon Tech left and advised them of what transpired, they actually wanted to talk to the tech...really?? Fios said over and over again that they did not support a 3rdparty router, they removed that and installed the WIFI extender in less than minutes! I will return the router I bought not knowing this was not supported by Verizon and NOW I have WIFI throughout my property and on Saturday I spent hours reinstalling security camera'sHe was self taught and knew less than what I knewThen the Geekatoo "tech" harassed me via text on Saturday, I advised Geekatoo this had better stop and immediatelyHe felt I was unfair for not paying $for him messing up everything and completing NOTHING...again really?? He should have left after minutes realizing I had Verizon Fios and he should not and did not handle the problem, instead he added to the problemHe was at my house a full hours and I wasted a day off of work and had to have my puppies penned up for hours! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Excellent customer service, support and tech knowledgeI have been using Geekatoo for over months and there has been no issue on my pc (which I upgraded to Win 10) that they could not resolveCost is very reasonabe and they are always available to help you!

[redacted] arrived when he said he would even placing a call to let me know that he was on the way When he arrived and got to work he took the time to explain what the problem and the solution wasHe finished in a timely manner and got our system up and running I would like to exclusively work with [redacted] for our company

Yes he was friendly & knowledgeableWe did not tell him during data transfer to transfer the contacts in "Address Book" which we didn't realize until after he leftThis would have made the process to send messages easier

This is a terrible company with very deceptive advertising and marketingThey claim to have a high rating with the Revdex.com, yet the service they attempted to provide me with was dreadfulThe foreign call center they use got my address wrong and sent the technician in the completely wrong direction, the employees they send out do not even know how they will get paid by the company and frequently cancel jobsAvoid at all costs and find a handyman through any other means

Geekatoo is indeed a friendly and helpful serviceI scheduled a TV wall mount serviceGeeks showed up about an hour later than scheduled, but that was all rightOnce they arrived, [redacted] and his colleague expediently mounted the TV above my fireplace, then cleaned the area of all debrisJob was completed in less than an hour

Purchasing the Green plan with Geekatoo has been the best decision I have ever made regarding keeping my computers in check They are ALWAYS available and ALWAYS help me fix whatever is wrong with my system OR just helping me change something I am very happy with them

This company is great and highly recommended I originally called [redacted] at [redacted] and requested there rush service as we are a small business and we were hit with a virus Well [redacted] gave me the run around and could not get a tech to come out and they kept stalling for two days I canceled there service and contacted ***atoo They were so fast and access my computer remotely and removed the viruses without effecting my other programs I was up and running within hours - I highly recommend this company as they do an amazing job- PLUS the price was way lower then [redacted] - I will use them in the future-

Do NOT use their new online booking service for nationwide coverage! After two no shows (not even a call or text to update) and two calls I had to initiateHere's a list of the minimum service one would expect, which they did not provide: 1) The website should acknowledge that the appointment is tentative and depends on the availability of service providers in the area 2) If an appointment is missed, there needs to be followup INITIATED by Hello Tech, preferably before the appointment is missed 3) The email confirmation should have the scheduled service and appointment timeCustomers expect and receive this in all other online transactions 4) There should be a place to check my scheduled appointments on the Hello Tech websiteAgain, customers expect and receive this in all other online transactions The full story is belowBefore that, let me acknowledge that HelloTech (as stated on their customer service line) recently merged with IkatuSome of these issues may be ironed out, and if so I will update this review On Sunday, I scheduled a visit to help my grandpa set up his tabletHello Tech's website gave me the option to schedule for the next day, so I asked for a 3PM appointment on MondayI got a confirmation of my order by email, but it didn't confirm the time No one showed up on MondayAlthough I had provided my number and selected the option to receive text updates, none cameThat evening I called Hello Tech, and the person said that no one had been available to come that day, but offered to set up an appointment on Wednesday morningSince he seemed to have visibility on availability, I trusted the next appointment on Wednesday would be metHe acknowledged that others were having similar issues, and that Hello Tech was working on a solution On Tuesday, I got an email asking me to confirm my order, and I took a screen shot of the transient webpage confirming that the appointment had been scheduled for Wednesday morning (since the website does not show what appointments you have made)Again, the email confirmation included only the amount I was charged, not the time or service that was scheduled Today (Wednesday) no one showed upI called Hello Tech again, and was told that no one was available until SaturdayI was also told that all appointments made online were "tentative"When I asked whether this was stated anywhere on the website, the agent admitted it was not The lack of accountability and clarity of the service demonstrates a deep disregard for the customerThis is especially concerning because their online (non)service is benefiting from the positive reputation of their local branches

The entire experience of finding assistance for a malfunctioning laptop from the initial contact, exploring the Geekatoo web page, the ensuing web chat and purchase was smooth and reassuring; as was the actual serviceThe technitian was punctual, pleasant and truly knowledgableHe even had the manual skill to repair a connection behind the screen which had rendered the lap top unusableThis level of service is uncommon these days

Excellent service On time, professional and most of all patient Fantastic technician who knows how to do it, explain it and always with a kind smile

I received a quote, scheduled an appt., gave them my credit card and no one showed up A [redacted] confirmed the appointment earlier that week My husband left work early that day to make the appointment and we never even received a phone call saying he wasn't going to make it When I called, customer service said he had cancelled hours earlier, but no one bothered to tell us after we scheduled our whole day around it Two weeks later we are still waiting for service It's time to find someone else reputable

My geek was very determined to help and was successful

A few months ago, our computer crashedI was going to bring it in to [redacted] and when I looked it up online, I saw a post for Geekatoo saying they beat [redacted] 's prices by up to 20%So I checked out their siteI was going to just have the computer repaired for something like $But for $179, I could get their cheapest plan which included one home visit (which I needed anyway) and unlimited remote support for a year on up to three devicesSo I went ahead and did thatFirst of all, the guy who came out to look at our computer was amazing! Turned out the whole hard drive was toast (he did everything he could to try to recover it, but it was gone)So he ended up having to come out twice in all but we got our computer back good as new with Windows installed (We had Windows XP at the time).Two nights ago, Windows updatedWhen I logged on in the morning, I couldn't access my [redacted] home screen (it was barely visible but all the way over to the left and I couldn't drag it)So I uninstalled [redacted] and reinstalled itThought I got that working only to find out there was a [redacted] ton of malware on the computerI removed some but had one program I couldn't get rid ofSo I did an online chat with GeekatooThey processed a ticket for me and a few minutes later, they had someone take control of my computer remotely and they did a total wipe of the computerCompletely got rid of the malware and the computer is faster than ever.Moral of the story, if you are ever looking for cheap, excellent computer repair and support (and they do much more...audio/video set up, home theater set up, wifi, smartphones, tablets, printers and more), I would HIGHLY recommend Geekatoo!
