Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The refund is to be credited back to our company credit card with in two to three weeks.  Also I want the Revdex.com to be aware that even though this was a free listing that listed our competitors phone number, this "free ad" has appeared for the past 4 years and each year we have exhausted all attempts to get this corrected. Our sales representative Shane Lindsey even sent 2 emails before the 2015-2016 book was published trying to get this corrected and was not successful.  In the past ad publications that number has appeared in the paid ad itself. Lets hope that this is a permanent resolution, thank you for your help

This will confirm receipt of the customer letter dated May 27, 2015 regarding the advertising concern for [redacted], Account Name: [redacted], Seibel Account Number: [redacted], Revdex.com complaint [redacted].
[redacted] signed an agreement with hibu July 9, 2014 where he purchased a website premium product along with some add on products. Per the terms and conditions of the signed agreement, the maximum number of attempts were made to contact [redacted]. With no reply received, the site was set live by default August 23, 2014. Our guarantee is seven days from the date that the website is set live. There are no comments on the account to support that [redacted] ever called in requesting to cancel the advertising. We successfully pulled our first payment 10/20/14. We successfully pulled our 2nd payment 11/20/14. From here the 12/22/14 payment for $150.46 & the 1/10/15 invoice for $150.46 both are returned due to Concord returned response: Over Limit. The account was written off to a Collection Agency 1/30/15 for $300.92.
Based on the research of [redacted]s’ concern we have determined that no adjustment is warranted. Attached I am including a copy of the signed agreement along with the terms and conditions.
Thank you for your understanding during our recent investigation regarding your advertising concern. If I can be of further assistance please give me a call.
Sincerely,

January 19, 2017Dear [redacted]:This correspondence confirms receipt of Complaint ID [redacted] filed by [redacted] of [redacted]. We have reviewed the concerns raised by [redacted]. First, the issue with the heading has already been addressed and the customer accepted a two month credit...

of $60.00. Next, for the verification post cards, the only search engine that requires this process is [redacted]. We show that the customer’s listing is already live on [redacted]. None of the other search engines require this verification process. Enclosed is a copy of the customer’s progress report which shows the status of their listings. It also contains links to the actual listings. You will see that there is no link for [redacted], however their listing is there and can be accessed via this link http://www.[redacted].com/l[redacted]. We have submitted a request to have the customer’s dashboard updated with the link so that it will appear on the progress report going forward. Finally, [redacted] references a correction rating of 35%. This is actually called the error rate and as of the date of this letter the percentage is only 19%; this is down from the 100% error rate which is where the listings were when the program was initially purchased. In light of what we found, there is no basis for an adjustment. The one error was already addressed prior to the complaint being filed and we have determined that the other two concerns that were raised are not errors. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at the number below.Sincerely,Heather H.Executive Services Specialist

Dear [redacted]:
In response to the rejection received to complaint:
[redacted] it is my understanding that the conversation Mr. [redacted] had last week with Adam
Reese was helpful and that he was able to answer your questions and resolve
your issues.   We did indeed bill you (9/24/16 and 10/24/16) and pull
payments from you (10/4/16 and 11/3/16).  This was told to you on 11/4/16
during your conversation with Marie B[redacted]. We are crediting your
account for the two payments. On 11/11/16 our Billing Department did process a
refund back to your bank account. It would be for the total of $568.16 but be
listed for $375.12 and $193.04. The confirmation numbers are 1[redacted]5100 and
1[redacted]5128. From our bank to your bank it does take 3-5 business days so I
would expect if you did check again the credits would be on your account.
Since receiving this rejection Marie B[redacted]
has had another conversation with Mr. [redacted] and it is my understanding all is
good.
If I can be of further assistance please let me
know.
Sincerely,

This will confirm receipt of the customer letter dated January 27, 2015 regarding the advertising concern for [redacted], Account Name: [redacted], Account Number: [redacted], Revdex.com complaint [redacted].
For this concern, we would have needed to receive the customer’s request to cancel by Sept 12, 2014 to avoid the payment from being pulled October 14, 2014. We actually start spending money the very same day the account is invoiced. This account invoiced October 1, 2014. This money has since been spent.  In October for the Search program there were 70 clicks, 7 calls, and we spent $660.24. For the Display program there was 17873 Impressions, 42 Clicks, and we spent $117.51. Everything appears on track from our end and it has been determined that there is no basis for an adjustment.
Thank you for your understanding during our recent investigation regarding your advertising concern. If I can be of further assistance please give me a call.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Why any business would pay $399 for a website that was never used or approved, that money needs to be refunded since no service was provided to [redacted].

May 30, 2014Dear [redacted]:This correspondence confirms receipt of the complaint filed by [redacted]...

[redacted] of [redacted]. We have reviewed the account and the concerns raised by the customer. It is correct that the customer initially had a credit on their existing Hibu account. We have spoken with the sales representative [redacted] and she has confirmed that she discussed the existing credit with the customer at the time of the sale. However, she disputes advising that the customer could cancel once the credit had been expended. The contract that was signed is Hibu’s standard one year contract. The customer states that the company took the signature from the tablet that was signed when they met with the customer and placed it on a contract. This is incorrect. When the customer signed the tablet, this was the authorization of the contract. This procedure was no different than the customer’s previous contract with our company. For your convenience, I have included copies of both contracts.
We have reviewed the website and find that it is consistent with the information that was provided and the changes that were submitted. Our review of this matter finds that there is has been no error and there is no basis for an adjustment on the account. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at the number below.
Sincerely,

... Dear [redacted]: This letter is being sent in response to the correspondence received on 6/12/2016 concerning the website [redacted] purchased with hibu.
I’ve attempted to reach [redacted] multiple times but have been unable to reach her.  I called ###-###-#### on 6/6/2016, 6/8/2016, 6/9/2016, and 6/13/2016.
I did review [redacted]’s concern and I did not find an error.  On 9/29/2015, an interview was done with [redacted] and her sales representative, Barbara N[redacted].  On 10/14/2015, a proof of the website was sent via email.  On 10/15/2015, both [redacted] and the sales representative called for a proof link for the website.  On 10/21/2015 the sales representative, Ms. N[redacted] called in proof changes.  Nothing further was received for changes after this, therefore the website was set live on 11/1/2015.
I was able to speak with the sales representative, Barbara N[redacted] about the concern.  Ms. N[redacted] indicated she was with [redacted] for two hours on 10/20/2015 for website changes.  Ms. N[redacted] also had noted on 11/3/2015 she was stood up by the customer, and [redacted] would call her later.  Ms. N[redacted] indicated she did not here from her after this.
I do apologize to [redacted] for the inconvenience this has caused her.  Unfortunately it is hibu’s policy to set the websites live if no correspondence is received for 5 days.

Dear [redacted]:
This letter is being sent in response to the rejected reply
received on 10/11/2016.
[redacted] has requested to cancel the directory after the
directory had published.  Unfortunately it
was too late to process her request to cancel.
We are unable to remove advertisement from the directory once it
publishes.
[redacted] account was selected for auto renewal on
3/22/2106.  On 4/1/2016 Hibu emailed the
contract to [redacted].net as well
as mailed it.  On 4/8/2016 [redacted]
called in and accepted the renewal of the contract.  Any business wanting in or out of the directory
had to be done by 5/31/2016.  The Suburban Essex County/17 book
began billing on 9/17/2016.  [redacted]
called in on 9/28/2016 asking to cancel.
Unfortunately her request was too late and could not be processed.
Per my previous correspondence, we are willing to offer 25%
off the contract total, $11.25/month, $135.00/annual as a goodwill gesture.  Since [redacted] declined this offer, she is
now responsible for the contract balance.
Hibu cannot accept a payment
equal to 2-3 months to take care of the contract balance in full.
I do apologize to [redacted] for not being able to resolve
this concern.
Thank you,

Dear [redacted]:
This will confirm receipt of the customer letter dated November 10, 2014 regarding the advertising concern for [redacted], [redacted], Account [redacted], complaint #[redacted].
The concern expressed by this customer is regarding the publication of free listings within the [redacted] County, PA [redacted] print directory. Since my conversation with the client, the necessary corrections have been submitted to ensure the accuracy of these free listing in future publications.
Everything agreed upon on the authorized agreement printed correctly.
Typically, credits are not offered for errors pertaining to the publication of free listing information. In this case, the customer was offered a 27% current monthly adjustment for $16.75/month, $201/annually. This offer has been refused by the customer.
It is unfortunate that we were not able to come to a mutually satisfactory agreement. After careful review of this discrepancy, we have determined this offer to be reasonable and fair. We are therefore issuing a credit to the account as follows:
hibu PRODUCT(S)
CURRENT MONTHLY AMOUNT
                                        Free Listing                                       $16.75 x 12 months
Thank you for your time and consideration. If I can be of further assistance please give me a call.
Sincerely,

Sick and tired of paying money for a product no one wants or needs (outdated, wasteful book), while trying to get ONE year of correct listings printed. That's all I want, is one year with correct listings and be done! I was convinced the last 3 years to give your company "one more shot" at getting it right. Each time with new reps promising the world to us. Each time they failed to deliver correct listings for our business. I am fed up and we have spent tens of thousands of dollars with NO correction or refund. Not only does it cost us monetarily, but time on correcting countless external and online listings as a result, and helping confused customers. It has to end. ~ Marketing Manager, Herrmann Services, C[redacted].

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The last time this happened we told them no more advertising with them. There was a very heated conversation. We paid the bill because there was a recording.I do not remember this conversation and my secretary answers and screens calls if she is in the office.I have made it very clear no advertising only with the local phone book and they come in and have us sign a contract. When I listen to the recording they mention this area and either I was confused as to what company they were or they have manipulated and inserted the date. There is no proof that is the date.I do not mention it! We are going to pay this bill again under duress!!! Please advise this company to never call us again. We do not want their business.Since they have been advised they have no right to ever call us and any other transactions they try to trick us into will be invalid! We will keep this on file. They should of noted not to call us! They have on file our many heated conversations.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response becausFirst of all [redacted] is not our company and says is in Quincy MA, we are in Quincy IL, this is how together Hibu is.  I've called there company several times always get a different story/result. I cancelled this service!!!at the end of 2015, we had NO ad in 2016 and their CS said they did see a contract for us in 2016. Because it was cancelled!  The owner borrowed a clients Hibu phone book, there is no ad for us in the current phone book!  WE ARE Not going to paying for a service I cancelled, and certainly not going to pay for an ad we don't even have. But this is how their customer service has gone, a huge run around!  I feel they are scamming people in a desperate attempt to keep their business going, because everyone knows the phone book is a dying business.  I don't want to hear from them again unless it's to tell me this account is closed, I'm considering this harassment.
