Since submitting a negative review for HPA, Peter and I have spoken several times and are in the process of ordering the new windowsIn fact HPA has gone beyond what was expected of them and are ordering Impact windowsBecause of the attention we have received from HPA I am requesting Revdex.com remove the negative review I forwarded and enter a Positive Review and rate HPA with Stars
I'd like to change my review to a positive oneThere was a misunderstanding and Peter was able to explain and clear things upI am not able to get my windows replaced at this time, and my contract was able to be cancelled and deposit refunded in a timely manner
Signed contract for Windows June 4, they measured twice and did a template Window in front wrong and did not send all windowsIt's now Sept When we signed the contract for Windows on June they said they would need to template the front window on Friday, they never showedWhen they finally did get the template done they said it would be to weeks for our windowsWhen they they showed up on in late August not only did that not have all of our windows but the front widow that was measured twice and had a template mad was wrongThey said they could not install and left our front window uncovered with plywood I providedBen Ccan out the next day and had them install the wrong window even though it doesn't fitHe said we would have all our windows Sept 10th on the 11th I contacted them to ask about the windows They called me at the end of the day and told me it would be October sometime to get the windowsWe have moisture coming in the front of our house as well
Memorial Day a rep was sent soliciting in my neighborhood.He said because everyone would be home.Find it disturbing to be sold something on a holiday A young man was sent to my house this Memorial day soliciting My husband and I were taking a very rare mid day holiday nap when he came a knocking When I told him it was a bad idea to be soliciting on such an important holiday he said that it was the last place he wanted to be of course, but the company knew everyone would be home That is so incredibly rudeI'm absolutely disgustedThey have a terrible reputation, and am offended that they feel soliciting on a holiday and that no one would look at their standards The just don't go together
April 29, 2018, we signed a contract for them to supply windows for $11, We paid them $at signing We paid the balance on 7/5/$7964, when the job was finished Two of the windows were the wrong windows and were installed with a promise that they would be warranted with the right windows put in Eight of the ten remaining windows were very hard to open, and they promised us they would be fixed by 8/7/ Then the date was changed to 8/27/18, and then the date was changed again to 9/17/and no later than 10/2/ Nothing has been done as of October 4th, I called on 10/4/and left messages for Carlos; and as of today, 10/6/18, I have heard nothing I have paid my part of the contract, as agreed They have not kept their part of the agreement and will not answer my calls or emails The windows are still not working properly Product_Or_Service: windowss Order_Number: [redacted] ?
Home Performance Alliance showed exceptional professionalism and thoughtfulness throughout the process of assessing whether or not to install new impact resistant windows in our house Even though we didn't go with them, I thought it was worth letting others know they followed through on and did everything they said they would when asked, and for many builders and contractors that is asking a lot it seems nowadays Their service and support was very good
Big time run around ! Stay away! I had Home Performance Alliance install windows and sliders and although the contract was signed and an 11,800$ downpayment was made in November 2016, it took until March for them to installThat in itself is not what I am upset over as much as the fact that windows were replaced by wider ones ( per my request) and the installer did not place a header above either of them ( the contract specifies additional fees for doing that- which was fine) The inspector failed the "open inspection"as they had closed the sheetrock and when the sheetrock was taken off there were no headers to support the weight from the roof above After many many calls they sent the same guy back out to place the headers and after him being grumpy and unmotivated he reluctantly placed one of the headers ( not done like in their preconstruction drawing and it may or may not pass inspection) and the other header he again did not placeNow it is weeks later, I still cannot call the inspector back as the other window has no header and no one is answering my phone callsI have sent a letter to the company with photos of the missing headers weeks ago and still no response! I cannot believe that a window installer would EVER consider installing a window with no header and as a solution simply cut the by s that are coming down from the roofOf course they had DEMANDED payment right away even though I pointed out that the inspection was not yet doneThey told me not to worry as they also wanted to "close the permit" so they would stay on top of things I am at my wits end and my option is to either hire a lawyer ( which I hate to do) or at least go to the county and ask what else I can doWithout the open inspection, I cannot have anyone install the sheetrock and the house is a mess with the studs around the window being visible! What a mess! I would stay away from this company! I paid 35,000$ only to get the runaround for over months!!!!
