As I have stated in the past, I have provided documentation to PNC Bank PROVING that they did not provide the correct payoff amount as of the date of the accident. I requested the payoff as of the date of the incidentI provided them a copy of my insurance paperwork that indicates that they wanted the payoff amount as of the date of the incident. The response I received from them was that it was not their standard practice to provide the payoff as of the date of the accident. That has been their only DIRECT response to the proof I provided. Other than that, all they've said boils down to "you owe us money." The GAP policy I paid for covered the car as of the date of the accident. I requested the payoff as of the date of the accident. It is their fault that they did not provide the payoff as of that date, as they have admitted "that's not our standard practice". It doesn't matter what their "standard practice" is. I specifically followed my GAP policy to the letter so that they would be paid what they were due. The failure on their part to comply with the stated procedures of the GAP policy is not my fault. Had they bothered to actually comply with the request, again as stated by my GAP policy, they would have been paid in full, and sent me a refund for the payments I made AFTER the accident. The FACT that they did not comply with the GAP policy does not make their error my responsibility, and I will not pay them for their error.Again in their last response to you, they are lying as they've done before. Now they claim they've never received proof. In previous responses to you, they claimed they had responded to me when they had not. A matter is not settled when their response is "you owe us money". This is getting ridiculous. I sincerely hope that EVERYTHING in this complaint is made public just so everyone can see how itic they are acting
