Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] Looking beyond the HSC response which contained an assortment of slanderous and statements, poor grammar and multiple spelling errors I have great concerns regarding the Home Service Club’s statement that “Our contract clearly states that we require for all systems to be in full operating condition to the manufacturer's original intended design and specifications and that we do not cover conditions existing prior to the start date of the contract” is a blanketexcuse not to perform on advertised /contractual remedies HSC is basically stating that appliances,plumbing, electrical wiring or any appliance or system must be new or close to new or the member is not covered due to the respective appliance does not meet “the manufacturer's original intended design and specifications” How is a member to know when an appliance while operational no longer meets the manufacturer's specifications? As to my claim for AC repair, prior to the technician even seeing the AC unit he stated that “HSC does not cover refrigerant ” That is totally contradictory to the HSC website (see below) that clearly states HSC covers refrigerant replacement The technician did not know the length of my HSC membership prior to stating refrigerant was not covered by HSC Regardless of how long I have been a member, I am left to assume that a refrigerant leak would not be coveredThis is patently advertising since the policy states: *COVERED: You're covered for the repair or replacement of components and parts that malfunction due to wear and tear, affecting the proper operation of one air conditioning systemAir conditioning systems include, central electric split and package units; geothermal; mini-splits; wall air conditioners (if the primary cooling system in the home is comprised of wall air conditioners, three (3) wall air conditioner units will be covered)Covered mechanical parts and components include the following: · Air handler · Blower fan motors · Capacitors · Compressors · Condenser fan motors · Condenser coils · Condensers · Evaporator coils · Fan blades · Freon gas lines interior to the unit · Internal system controls · Internal wiring · Motors (excludes dampers) · REFRIGERANT (excludes reclamation) As to the HSC comment that A REFUND WAS ALREADY ISSUED when his policy was cancelled I do not consider a $refund for misrepresenting a service as an acceptable resolution I expect to be reimbursed the $paid for the refrigerant that should have been covered as represented In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] [redacted] sold me freeon knowing full well that the freeon would not fix my air conditioning system This was a scam This man is living in a home that is in "short sale" mode and he took me as a sucker to get money to live The honest company would have told me that there was nothing that could be done that day to ensure that the system would continue working He did not He also tried to sell me another part for the heating system, knowing full well that this system had no hope and that the system just needed to be fully replaced This company BLATELY lied TO RECEIVE MONEY They did not do what was in the best interests of me, the consumer I am a disabled senior who is unfamiliar with the HVAC system or I would not have bothered to call a repair company The Home Service Club needs to take responsibility because this Franco Company was their choosing and they arranged to have this guy come to my home If you look on yelp.com this company has SUPER BAD RATINGS and should not be used by anyone who wants a responsible, reliable company to do this work! While we understand the frustration a customer may experience when instant service is not provided, it is important to note that instant service is not guaranteed. The claim was filed during the start of the season and the Memorial... Day weekend and it was promptly assigned. We do rely on local third party service provider to go to the customer's home and many are booked for the same reasons. To accommodate the customer we confirmed the service provider did get the work order and will schedule and have now also approved for it to be reassigned. However it would be unethical for us to guarantee instant service and although we strive and are known to be some of the fastest, it is not always the case each and every time. The customer was not told that she is not able to speak to a supervisor she was advised that she could not be transferred to one and that a request for a call back from a supervisor was submitted which is standard procedure. Again we completely understand the frustration and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. However, neither the complaint nor waiving any deductibles is warranted at this time. An agent will be in contact with [redacted] regarding her claim which is being worked on real time.

Beware! This warranty company will go out of it's way to not cover the cost for any work done for your homeI recently filed for service on my AC which has taken forever to get anything doneAfter they have a local company come out to your home (which was two different companies for me) for diagnosis of the problem you have to continue to wait for an answer for work to beginTHE ANSWER WILL BE IT IS A PREEXISTING ISSUE AND WILL NOT BE COVERED!!! This is the answer that was given to me and countless othersIf you do not believe me go on Revdex.com, Consumer Reports, and other review websitesYou will also see the pattern, this is their MOThere are so many reviews stating thisThey also cap work costs so stand by for that, you will be paying more than your premium, they do not pay for labor, shipping of parts, and suchThey claim to have superior customer service, contact them and you will see otherwiseYOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!

This is my second year as a customer and the first year I had claims at each claim the company made efforts to provide me with fast response time and the repairs where completed fastThe service experience has thus far been better then I expectedEvery time I have called each person that I have spoken to has been professional and niceI'm happy I changed home warranty companies and got the home service club

This is a complaintCustomer is well aware that her system is not covered and she literally told our agents on the phone: "I know that it is not covered but I am filing complaints because I cannot afford to get a new system myself"While we approved for a second opinion to be dispatched as a courtesy, and may possible offer a courtesy towards a resolution, the coverage will not change and any further statements and complaints will void any and all courtesies on this accountHSC does not provide home improvement service which the customer seeksWe are helping as a courtesy to the customer and because customer service is our utmost priorityHowever, we do take complaints and attempts to abuse such venues very seriously

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: It is truly unbelievable that a company would attempt to allege misrepresentation of one of its customers to avoid paying a claim with absolutely no basis of its accusations There was no pre-existing condition regarding this claim for an air conditioning unit repair and no misrepresentation Our home was purchased in January of and from the date of purchase was covered by a home warranty plan and has continued to be covered without any lapse in coverage The decision to purchase coverage by the Home Service Club in January of was done so because their rates were less than what we were then paying and the coverage was the same The heating/air conditioning unit has always been fully operational and the air conditioner has continued to be used as needed during periods of warm temperatures It was used all last summer and since then when it was warm, especially in March and April of this year until it developed a problem The Home Service Club sent a technician from "One Hour" who was not able to make the repairs as parts would be needed When we contacted the Home Service Club about the repair we were told that it would not be covered as there was a pre-existing condition When I asked how they determined there was a pre-existing condition Stacey C [redacted] (supervisor) said it was based on "professional opinion." When I asked whose professional opinion, she said it was their technician's opinion When I called "One Hour" company who had responded to the service call, the owner told me his technician has never spoken with anyone at The Home Service Club and there has never been anyone else who has since been at the property The owner of "One Hour" said he contacted the manufacturer of the air conditioner who verified that the parts to the unit are still under warranty Therefore, any costs for repair would just be for installation Stacey C***, supervisor, was very rude and proceeded to talk over me loudly to the point of yelling at both my husband and myself during phone calls She was yelling in an attempt to get her point across that there was a pre-existing condition, although she could not give any basis or reason for that opinion When I would ask her to explain who or where they got this so-called professional opinion is when she started yelling I don't think she realized that this unit was continually covered under a warranty and there would be no reason to "sign up with a bad system with an intention to get it replaced" as it has been alleged, when in fact it has always been covered, since the home purchase in by a warranty plan That just wouldn't make any sense During one phone call my husband was offered $by Stacey C***, supervisor, for the repair, estimated at $1600, which has been rescinded by this company because they now call it a courtesy that they no longer intend to honor I do not cheat anyone and I do not like to be cheated I am a nurse and have made it a career to help others It is very disheartening when a company that was paid for a service would turn it against a person because they had a claim and be accused of misrepresentation There is something really wrong with a company an people who work there to stoop that low This company is responsible and should make the repairs as needed In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

We request that this case be removed from out public record. This customer's account has been cancelled and refunded due to fraud. There is nothing to do here and this case has been closed. The last "rejection" further shows that [redacted] refuses to send an inspection report and assumes what HSC's job should be despite what our contract and services actually are, and simply continues to prolong this complaint that should have never been here to begin with. This is now submitted to our legal department for any further dealings.

I signed up with the home service club about a year agoI was having a system issue and I wasn't sure how to resolve it on my own soi went on there website and summing a claimJust like the email said I would get a call within 24hrs, I didThe man on the phone, I think his name was john, was so polite and he was so understanding and he set me up with an amazing tech

This complaint, as well as the customer's account, are completely false, fraudulent, and will be handled accordingly by our Fraud Prevention Department and our Legal DepartmentAny outstanding balances owed to us will be billed The complaint is full of blatant fabrications, statements, requests with evident intent, and it is clear that the accuser has never read nor understands the contract that they so frequently mentionWe request that this attempt at fraud and complaint be removed from our recordsCustomer signed up to have their year old boiler with a degraded heat exchanger (something the accuser claims happened that week) and in terrible condition replacedOur contract very clearly states that we do require all covered systems and appliances to be fully operational to the manufacturer's originally intended design and specifications at the start of the contract, which this system clearly was notThe contract, to which the accuser repeatedly refers, also clearly states that we do not cover any issues existing prior to the start date of the contract, clearly defines such issues, and states that we reserve the right to determine if the issue was, in fact, existing prior to the start or not based on, including but not limited to the opinion and findings of the professional technician as well as our trained employeesCustomer is clearly abusing this venue and the reputation of the Revdex.com in order to fraudulently bully an honest company into replacing their old boilerCustomer also makes claims regarding us agreeing to insure them and projects liabilityWe are not an insurance company and have not received nor approved any applications from the customer who simply went ahead and purchased our productNow the customer is demanding things (intentionally and planned) which our product does not offer and has resorted to blatantly fabricated statements, accusations, and nothing short of slanderHSC is an honest company and has a strict policy against such attempts of fraudWe will continue to stand tall against such complaints and attempts and providing industry leading service to all real customers

We spoke to the customer and this was all done and approved days ago (last week)It says this complaint is from 7/ [redacted] How can this be? This is finished/resolved

As stated previously, this is a misrepresentation of facts. Our obligation is to repair the system and we have approved the repairs. [redacted] refuses them. Should he want a replacement, he would have to pay for it as it is not subject to coverage. We have offered [redacted] to put $1000.00 toward the replacement instead of paying for the repair as a courtesy (he was NEVER promised any amount, it is not in the contract, and the current offer is not an obligation but a way for HSC to help [redacted] with the options of his choice). The claims agent gave [redacted] a range and stated that she will try to get him as much as she can. [redacted] called the technician as someone else and obtained a new quote and received a cheaper quote. Although this makes it an unauthorized repair, HSC has authorized the same $1000.00 we were paying towards the repair, to go towards the replacement. [redacted] can use the same technician (or any other) and set up the replacement. HSC will pay the service company the offered $1000.00 directly if the same technician is used, and via a check directly to [redacted] if an out of network service company is used. As a one-time good will offer, we will add an extra $200.00 to the amount and offer a total of $1200.00 toward the replacement. For any courtesy offer, [redacted] would be required to sign an agreement accepting the offer. [redacted] can repair the system through us, or take the offer of $1200.00 toward replacement, or perform the work outside of HSC services. Please let us know which option [redacted] would like to proceed with. We have extended the time on the offer.

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: After my conversation to day with [redacted] I contend that my complaint has not been resolvedThey advised me as well as HSC that there was some rust but that was not the reason for the problems [redacted] emphatically stated that rust and corrosion was not the cause of the unit not to cool The copper coils have a leak and copper does not rust He stated that he informed them of that and they advised him they would put under review and call him back When I spoke to [redacted] she advised that my system was not covered and said that she could only allow $toward the problem At that time I was not aware of the Technician finding, so had no other choice but to say ok I advised her that I like the Technician from [redacted] ***, she ended the conversation saying she would contact [redacted] and let me know what was required [redacted] or myself never heard form her again It was also stated that I used their service before and it unfortunately I didn't complain then I had a toliet that overflowed and I contacted HSC, and they had a plumber come out after about almost weeks of calling He unstopped the toilet but scratched it all up with his equipment I paid him $The toliet began to leak so I called him back and he returned but he still did not stop leak My neighbor purcahsed a $part and stop the leak The toilet had to be replaced since it was all scratch up Yes I can verify all this information It is very hard trying to get service from this Company, even if you are persisting in your request Wheter it is repair or replacement, no should have to wait for a month and half for service from HSC In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Please see previous responses. Case is closed. This is nothing but blatant fraud and lies and legal action may indded need to be taken, against [redacted] .

[redacted] ***'s claim is taking longer than usual, but this is not due to HSC or any fault of our employees. We have been working hard on this including work that is not our obligation under the contract and it is the manufacturer of [redacted] ***'s system that is making it difficult and requesting information... that only [redacted] would have. We have received two identical estimates, and paid for an extra service call, and had two separate companies assess and advise on the situation. We have contacted [redacted] and offered a number of options including those outside of our contract and that would cost us more. We are expecting to hear from [redacted] back soon and to finish and close this claim for good.
