I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[I do not know why they keep referencing the fact that the car was in a previous accident. That is a poor excuse to make for swirl marks. Even if my car was wrecked before, why would their be swirl marks and not big damage? It is true, this car was wrecked before and it was professionally fixed by a professional body shop. Even if my car hit a gaurd rail it would a have bigger damage than swirl marks. I have attached photos above of before I took my car to Honda world. And the person who is replying is lying completely, nobody ever informed me that my car would be washed. I never agreed to this. Why would you wash my car for a diagnostic? I didn't even ask you to fix it, I only asked for a diagnostic and that was it. I do not care what type of car wash machine they use, before they washed my car it did not have swirl marks on it. PERIOD. After they washed is when I got the swirl marks.

To Whom it may concern: Mr. [redacted] brought his 2016 Accord in on 11/20/17 at 3:17 repair order #[redacted] for a brake concern. At this time it was found that Mr. [redacted]'s Accord had a Honda warranty cancellation due to a collision that totaled the car on 4/7/2017. Carfax also verified that it...

had indeed been totaled due to hitting a guide rail end. At this time the customer declined any repairs. As part of our process we always offer a free car wash to our customers  if the customer says yes we mark wash on the repair order if not its marked NO. Mr. [redacted] repair order was marked WASH and the repair order was signed by the customer .Mr. [redacted] claims he said NO to his Advisor. His car was run thru our brushless car wash and then he claimed that our carwash had put swirl marks allover his car. It was pointed out  by Mr. [redacted]house our service manager that the swirl marks where not new and where from the crash or the repair of the car from the crash.  Our car washes hundreds of cars per month that include new cars as well as customer cars and not one complaint of swirl marks.  This type of swirl marks only occurs by poor paint work and not correctly buffing the paint. We never received a compliant from our Customer on the service of his vehicle. At Honda World we truly Appreciate our Customers and would never perform the type of service our Customer son from Nashville is stating we did. #1 We are responding to a complaint from someone that is not...

the Customer who brought the vehicle in for a repair. #2 We here at Honda world feel that we have done our job properly and advised the customer that these repair are Recommended By American Honda to prevent Further damage and potential break down of the customer’s vehicle.       Per Honda owner’s manual it is recommended to replace the timing belt at 105000 miles or 7 years whichever comes first. This vehicle was at the extreme in age of a rubber belt, 12 Years old.       The motor mounts were broken causing instability in the insecurity in the way the engine torques when accelerating, Other related items in the timing belt replacement were leaking causing a potential failure after the timing belt replacement. IE: Water pump and Belt tensioner.  In our opinion  if we were to let a customer leave in a vehicle with these needed repairs we would not properly be doing our Job. Our Customers expect us to advise them of all needed repairs every time they visit our shop. #3 We do discriminate any customer based on Age, Sex or Nationality. We have a large customer base of Senior Citizens and if we question each one on their ability to make these kind of decisions we would more than likely upset almost everyone of them.  #4 We have a Signed agreement when the vehicle was brought in with several notes each time we called the customer. We also has a signed agreement form the customer when he picked up his vehicle acknowledging he agreed with the transaction.

We've contacted Mr. [redacted]. He stated he was given a price for an oil change over the phone and when he came in he stated it was $50.00 dollars more on 2 occasions .   We explained that he not only received and oil change on his vehicles, but also had a tire rotation and balance as...

well. That was the difference...on the phone he requested and was quoted an oil change and in both cases purchased an tires rotation, and wheel balance...thus the difference in price. After explaining the difference...We also thanked him for his business  and informing us that there was an issue. We explained we would be glad to refund the difference that he was quoted on the phone. He was very Satisfied and thanked me for the call and the refund.
