We would like to deeply apologize for the delay that took us to process such refund.

On July 7th, Mr. [redacted] recieved a replacement device.  On July 8th, he emailed HTC saying the phone was working fine and wanted shipping information to return the other devices.  On July 15th we received the defective devices back to our repair center. We also gave Mr. [redacted] a $100 coupon to use on HTC.com.  Our last communication was on July 13th, confirming how long the coupon code is valid for.

We did an extensive investigation of this case. A refund is possible within 30 days of the delivery date, the customer received the phone in July and reported the button inconvenience in October. A repair process started and we will let the customer know as soon as a tracking number is generated....

The ticket has been reported and is on our priority list.

refund request, the device does not meet the requirements to do one; according to our policies, it is only within 30 days after the purchase to initiate a return or refund. As Mr. [redacted] used the Uh Oh program to exchange the device, we will be able only to replace or repair the phone through our repair facility.

HTC is willing to clarify his policies. In order to redeem the coupon code of the Uh Oh protection, customers need to agree our Uh Oh Protection Credit Redemption Terms and Conditions as it states; the credit may not be combined with other offers & discounts, and may not be used with financing...

We must reiterate the fact that Mr. [redacted]’s HTC device  is no longer covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.  Nevertheless, we are willing to set up a repair process providing a Pre-paid label along with a proper follow up to request a 50% discount once the quotation for the cost of the repair is issued.   Unfortunately that is the only one option that we are able to offer to Mr. [redacted].

I am rejecting this response because they are still trying to refurbished phone replacement, which was what was originally provided twice (both faulty) because it is an unacceptable replacement for a 2 week old phone.HTC is still trying to send me a refuave consistently gotten phones that are not working as part of their refurbished contingency.  I spoke to Juan twice who told me both times he was going to talk to headquarters to request a new phone be provided. He asked how many phones I had and I told him that I only had the phone with the faulty battery, which was loosing 10% charge an hour without use.  I told him the previous blue tooth issue phone was sent back by Fedex tracking [redacted] and was received Monday 5/1.  Juan said another phone would be sent out, they would have someone check it, and I once again asked if it was refurbished.  I clearly told him I will not accept another refurbished phone.   I have been an HTC customer for over 7 years, and I find it appalling that they don't treat their long time customers with the service they promise in their ads.  I told Juan C[redacted] the same resolution that I've heard from 6 other people is still unacceptable, and I would continue to pursue with the Revdex.com and my credit card company.  Sincerely, [redacted]

According to the swap ticket [redacted] and FedEx tracking number [redacted] the device was delivered last 04/17/2017 15:38 Local time.

I should have included in my initial complaint that not only was I told to return it for a refund that would take 2 weeks, I was told doing the repair option would take 7-10 days and I would get a quote on the cost of repairs.  It didn't make sense to me that a 4 day old phone would not be under warranty.  I did finally talk to someone else and it was decided that sending it to the repair center was the best option.  Not sure why but after they received the phone the closed the repair ticket and opened a new one.  Sincerely, [redacted]

for 60 days before it became defective and HTC indicated 10-15 business days to repair and return.  I have asked American Express to reverse the charges for the purchase of the phone. If this is agreed to, HTC may keep the defective product.  I have had to purchase another device as I use my phone for work and no longer need this device.
