HTC as its sole discretion can decide to present different offers at any time for all devices included the model purchased by Mr. [redacted]. In regards to his desire; the return policy does not apply at the date he contacted us had passed the 30 days of the buyer’s remorse terms.  Therefore his desire is not suitable with the HTC policies.

Customer has already received his replacement and an arrangement was made as an exemption to refund the money of the hold pass the determined period.

HTC is currently working on resolving the situation related to the ability to activate Mrs. [redacted]'s phone. All the necessary information was escalated to our RMA department and they are doing their best possible to activate the device with the Sprint network....

Otherwise, we will need to consider sending a replacement to the customer.

The customer has been provided with a link and highlighted pictures, verifying and confirming the information requested by her, all connectivity issues with the Verizon network have already been solved. However the customer has a 30 day period to return the device after is received and have a full...

refund of the paying price in the case that she is dissatisfied with the product.

I am rejecting this response because:The liquid was perspiration, which is covered by the warranty.  HTC technicians have not given any evidence that the liquid was not perspiration.  If we are unable to resolve this issue here, I will be forced to file a complaint through the FTC.

I am rejecting this response because: This phone is the only phone I have and I am forced to use it. I received a backdoor attempt by HTC twice to negotiate this without Revdex.com from a person I could not understand and I have forwarded the email to Revdex.com for record and review, as the "Juan" contacting me did not leave phone information, phoned from a number which did not register on the caller ID, and did not comprehend the original complaint in this was not an issue of the charger being replaced, but I wanted a new charger included with a new phone. I can not be without a phone for 4 weeks while HTC send my phone to Taiwan.  I will restate my first position in I want a replacement phone with hot spot capabilities with charger as HTC is legally responsible for phones that are defective as there is not an expiration date on this. I do not appreciate being questioned on the issue of this phone as it could have started a fire here in my home, and then being given a run around in HTC has to decide after examining the phone. I want a new replacement phone and charger, for this defective phone which is AT&T compatible at no cost to me, in which I can replace the SIM card for not interrupted service. If the replacement phone is not defective and works, then the issue of the exchange can be dealt with. My consumer rights come first, not a corporation not taking responsibility for their defective product.I want someone from HTC who understands this issue as all I have received thus far is a corporate response in what seems a deliberate attempt to stonewall on this issue to assigning me someone who is in the Spanish speaking division of consumer service, when I speak English as my primary language. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: this like everything else with this horrible company is another excuse. They didn't tell [redacted] nor myself that they changed the IMEI nber it was only after me being on the phone with [redacted] numerous times over the course of three weeks that it was figured out and once again until I put this complaint in did anyone from HTC reach out to me at all and now you are not properly addressing the issues or any of the problems you caused. The product support is horrible and HTC should be ashamed of the way they treat people there are quite a few blogs on this subject and I wish I had read one of them before I bought your product. I recently had an issue with my new phone a [redacted] and not only were their tech support staff patient and helpful but when they took all avenues and decided the phone had a problem they sent me a new one in two days under warranty just the same way I was WITH HTC MAYBE HTC SHOULD TAKE A QUE FEOM [redacted] ON CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I am rejecting this response because: we were not told to remove "covers" only to remove the SD card itself. We would like to have a new cover sent asap as this should never have been removed.

We are unable to provide a refund for this product as it has exceeded the 30 day buyers remorse period. HTC is able to assist with RMA/Warranty Options for further support if the customer would like to proceed with the options mentioned.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response: for two reasons, the first -I will not have a way of conducting business through my employer or having family contact once I send in the device for repair. I do not have a temporary cell phone to use during the repair process,  and second - I initially requested for a replacement HTC cell phone of equal value. I would be more that willing to not have to suffer through the repair process and time.Sincerely,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:
II understand that the Severe weather is an issue and I feel greatly sorry for the damage and inconvenience that it has caused. However I don't think that information on the situation now is acceptable. My issue was already weeks late of schedule before the Severe weather was a factor. I am really sympathetic towards the repair center due to the Hurricane but that doesn't excuse my delay prior to it happening.

The customer was provided with a tracking number./ According to UPS website the phone was delivered on Tuesday,  10/24/2017 at 3:31 P.M.

Mr. [redacted]’s  issue was resolved since 11/05/2016 when  his replacement  phone was successfully delivered to his location, as per FedEx tracking # [redacted].  However, since he complained about the delay in completing the exchange process,  2 coupon codes were issued as a sort of compensation.
 
Mr. [redacted] was not satisfied with the coupons because he is interested in an accessory which is not in stock at the moment, the HTC Active Pro Case. Unfortunately we are unable to issue that accessory to him. Our advice is to check the web-site regularly, since possibly the accessory will be available shortly.

In exchange for two devices, HTC is sending a monetary amount to the consumer.

HTC has reviewed Mr. [redacted]’s account; we found that the customer was explained about the Wi-Fi calling and that this feature is not available for the unlocked version, only for the T-Mobile, he was provided with the refund option, however, customer decided to contact his carrier, after that he was provided with the Uh Oh carrier switch program which he agreed and was advised the device will be a replacement unit certified by HTC.  As it was stated before, he is no longer eligible for a refund and the device will be only replaced or repaired through our repair facility.

Thank you for your help. HTC still didn't get everything right. I have a silver phone and they said they could send me red sim and SD card trays because they didn't have any silver ones (which would decrease the value of my phone). When they sent them in the mail I had different colors so my phone is now silver with one black edge and one red edge. I have gotten rid of the phone so I don't even have to deal with this horrible company again. Thanks again.

Since HTC Desire 626 does not have a removable battery and in order to be removed this element must be forced no action can be followed.
