I reviewed [redacted] account She did recently lower her bill to $per month plus tax Prior to the changes being made her rate was $+tax The billing statements that she was receiving did show total balances higher than those rates Those higher statements were due to past due balances The statements that had past due amounts also included late fees and restoral fees The restoral fees are charged when service is interrupted because of a past due balance I explained to [redacted] why her bill fluctuated and went over statements with that were past due and statements that were current so she could see the where the balances were coming from When she made the changes to her account to reduce her bill, she did remove services and was given a discounted rate for months I did review these changes with [redacted] as well

I spoke to [redacted] ; he was upset that he was charged for a repair when the repair technician told him he would not be charged He wanted credit on the charge since he was promised the repair would be free I did apply a credit to cover the charge in the amount of $

I have reviewed [redacted] account and reached out to him to resolve the complaint [redacted] price was reduced in March to cover the cost of Showtime and Starz for year In August an agent entered a credit of $per month for months to cover the cost again to try and resolve *** [redacted] issue This credit first appeared on the bill dated 08/07/ Another agent trying to resolve the issue further lowered [redacted] bill on 08/16/ [redacted] current rate plus the credits given more than cover the cost of these channels

I reviewed [redacted] account and spoke to him about the billing issues A promotional discount was missing from his new account However, that was corrected in July and credit was applied back to his installation date of 06/16/The billing on his previous account stopped on 06/19/and billing on his new account started on 06/16/ [redacted] wanted the service to stop at the previous account on the same day the new service started A credit of $was applied to the account in July to correct this However [redacted] is stating that he was told the credit would be $ To honor this and resolve the dispute we have applied an additional credit of $

I reviewed [redacted] account and spoke to her about the missing equipment She stated that she believed a technician picked up those pieces when she changed the boxes she had We have removed the equipment from the account and removed the charges as well

I spoke with [redacted] , her husband was working with their sales agent to correct the priceThe package they were quoted was for a different internet speed and was missing part of a discountBoth of these issues have been corrected We have also issued a credit of $to correct the billing back to when they were installed on 12/01/

[redacted] lives in a building that has an agreement with RCN With this agreement the building bills its tenants a reduced rate for cable services RCN bills the customers directly for any additional services The bill she is referring to is from her building not from RCN I have tried to explain that we have no authorization to handle a dispute for the amount the building is billing her We have sent this the RCN representatives that work with her building for them to reach out to [redacted] ***

We reviewed [redacted] account He was on a temporary disconnect However he was on this past the limits we have so he was reconnected and billing started Using the temporary disconnect has little benefit to the customer since he was going to be gone until September and he has his own equipmentI spoke to [redacted] and explained this to him He agreed to disconnect account and reconnect once he was ready in September We agreed to remove the charges on his bill to give him a zero balance

I reviewed the account Two payments in the amount of $were deducted on 03/21/ I spoke to [redacted] he stated that he was charged $by his bank because of the duplicate payment He wanted that payment refunded and credit on the bank fee [redacted] *** was able to provide proof that he was charged the bank fees We have applied credit to [redacted] account in the amount of $ We have also sent a refund check in the amount of $to cover the duplicate payment

I have reviewed [redacted] account MsDasti canceled service with RCN effective 09/22/ Prior to canceling service [redacted] had balance of $ This balance included a past due balance $ She was charged a payment processing fee of $1.00, late fees of $and the next month of service for 09/03/11-10/02/ When she canceled service we removed the charges for 09/22/11-10/03/leaving a balance of $ I checked the calculations on the account and they are correct I called [redacted] and explained this to her She states she never received an itemized bill Looking at the account we sent itemized bills dated 08/31/11, 09/25/and 10/1/ I offered to send copies of these bills, plus any additional she wanted, but she declined the offer Additionally I do see that some bill copies were sent in At this point [redacted] bill is correct and no adjustments are needed

I reviewed [redacted] account We did show that he was installed with two digital cable boxes On 02/20/we removed the 2nd box and adjusted his price going forward I checked the previous bills One box was included in her bundled the package The 2nd box was listed and billed separately For most of the years there was no charge for the 2nd box I called and spoke to [redacted] I explained this to her and agreed to credit $to cover the amount she was charged for the box

Good afternoon, [redacted] was given 1/credit for the technician visit so I applied the rest of the credit $The wireless router features two-fold protection in security.On the hardware side the signal is scrambled and on the Software side a WEP key is used to add security to the transmissionThe wireless router comes with a password unless it is removed and that is not something that our technicians doI also placed month credit for the modem service in the amount of $61.92.Sincerely, AlyceAlyce K [redacted] **

Good morning, RCN sent a supervisor out to his home and changed a fitting on the outside then swapped his equipment. I spoke to [redacted] and he said that corrected the issue.I placed a credit of $130.29 for the issues he was having. I also told him to call if the problem returns.
