I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, although I will no longer continue with my complaint at Revdex.com, I am disheartened to know that "DUE TO LACK OF REGULATIONS" cable companies such as RCN can just charge whatever they want in fees Also, it is very distressful that they can just charge for bundle packages for services that they do not provide [i.e., they charged me for networking fee (which apparently is rental for wireless router) for over four years, included in a bundle charge, while I had my own wireless] More regulations should prevent RCN from their deceptive actions and their lack of transparency

We received the complaint from *** *** and reached out to her. We were able to block her card from being used again with RCN our end. I explained that since the payment in question had already been processed by her bank, the bank would need to dispute the payment. This would
allow us to return the payment to her bank

I am rejecting this response because:I was absolutely guaranteed a monthly price of $after four calls to RCN and a Revdex.com complaint that reached RCN and was fully resolved by Alice after a very lengthy conversation where each item was reviewed in great detail, including the cheap digital box that I have had for twenty years that RCN has made its money back on foldAlice went over the bill in excruciating detail, and that is how the billing was determined, not to mention that I was told the bill would be $a month before I agreed to have it installedMelissa just has no idea what she is talking aboutI have contacted Jim H*** about Melissa and RCN's awful treatment of me as a year customer, so I will wait to hear from Jim about Melissa and her unusual style of dealing with customers, as well as the billing, which was determined to be $a month, including the cheap digital box in exchange for the costly HD BoxI will only pay the $a month that RCN fully agreed to months ago, after a complete review of their services and billing by RCN's representatives, including final deal maker Alice.

I reviewed *** *** account and it did show a router that was not returned. I spoke to *** *** and he explained that he never had that router. I escalated the issue and after research was completed, the router was removed from the account. *** ***s originally paid
the fee for the equipment not being returned, therefore we owe him a refund that will be processed and sent out

I am rejecting this response because:the box has never been received by me I first lodged this complaint on January 27,2016, although I have spoken with *** on a number of occasions, this matter is still untesolved *** told me last week on 2/25/that she had ordered the box mailed to me on 2/19/ I still have no box She said she would check tracking and get back to me, I have heard nothing from RCN This situation is bordering on the absurd I am not satisfied with the lack of cooperation from RCN

I am rejecting this response because: because another account has nothing to do with my accountThe party stated to them he was moving from my home who had no rights of being in.my home not from me or.My landlordI had called in when my balance was due to have them.pick up their boxes because I couldn't do it because I was high risk and going into the hospitalI also stated to them than and several other calls after that I would pay.My services and start it back when I came homeI have not had.any services under anyones name and I feel this is discrimination and very discriminatory because they failed to do a verification and also failed on letting me know anything about it till after the payment clearedI was lied to by different representatives telling me different stories on what was said by the account.holder to find later they never spoke to him or they hadny reached out to him till Wednesday November 23rd after speaking to meI was yelled at by the representative telling me to.clear the bill up how he kist spoke to him etcMy social doesn't owe anything to them.and all who is on.My lease owes them.nothingThe fraudulent account services they set up didn't have my consent or my landlord'sSo.They should go after the person that iwes them.not my home or meI don't want services from them anymore I have direct tv and comcast back in my homeI just want the block removed from.my address and my name removed from.being affiliated with the other account services that shouldnt have been in place in the first placeI did speak to Melissa from rcn today at *** than.press I requested this

I reviewed the account and spoke to *** *** We discussed the technical issues that they had and the periods of time they were without service. I confirmed that credit had been issued to cover some of the time periods effected but not all. I issued additional credit to remove
the remaining balance and resolve the dispute

I reviewed *** *** complaint and spoke with him about it. According to *** *** he was quoted $per month with tax. He is currently being charged $+ tax per month. After researching his account it was determined that he was quoted a rate before tax of
$82.99. I agreed to issue a credit on month of tax and to add additional to cover a past due balance on the account. The total was $54.21. I also removed late fees for *** *** totaling $I also let *** *** know that is rate is $+ tax for an approximate total of $

*** *** had service with RCN at this address. Her service was disconnected in July of 2016. She never paid her final bill leaving a balance due of $414.39 In August of we were contacted by another party to start service at this address. The account was set up for the
new customer. The customer canceled service in October of stating he was moving out. There is currently an outstanding balance on this account. *** *** called in November requesting to start service again at this address.At that time she made a payment to cover the unpaid balance on her original account. This payment was not a deposit or set up fee, it was for the unpaid balance from when she had service prior. While setting up the account for *** *** it was discovered that there is an outstanding balance for her address. She is stating that she lived there this entire time.We are unable to provide service to *** *** at this address at this time since she did indicate that she lived there when the debt was incurred

The last payment on the account was for the amount of $This was for the services from 11/25/to 12/20/The customer disconnected the services as of 12/06/There was a refund in the amount of $that was for the services from 12/06/to 12/20/The refund was sent back to the
