Dear Revdex.com,
I was called the day after I sent in the complaint to discuss the sales situation and the inability to buy the car at the price advertised. I wrote a review on Dealer.net and the general manager reached out to me. I explained that the $2398 car price was not available to anyone because it came with the inclusion of financing through the dealership but the dealership does not finance under $7500. Since the car cannot be financed, it would require the car to be $2398 + $500 cash price. The general manager said I would receive a call from sales staff that day. I did not so I called him the next day and said no one called. I want the car for $2398. I was called back a few hours later asking if I could buy the car that night. I said I will leave work early to get the car and I was still interested. He gave me the price $2707.04 would be all fees included, tax, licensing and registration.  I went and bought the car.
I was assured that they would change their advertising to not include LOW car prices that could not be finance so no one would have to go through this. They said is was an honest mistake. But as of this morning on their website, they have two vehicles that they cannot finance but they have this price is only good if you finance or lease through them. It is $500 more if you pay cash. [redacted] 2000 Buick Century Gold and [redacted]  2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Yellow.

All of our vehicles advertised are for sale at the advertised price until sold. It is first come, first serve. We are happy to sell whatever we have available when consumers come to to our establishment. We accept cash and offer financing.

We aren't ignoring you instead focusing on the business we have in store; people wanting and agreeing to buy vehicles. I suggest you set an appointment and come in. WE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. We have thousands of happy customers after being in business 41 years. It is our goal to offer a quality sales experience and to make the sale as simple and transparent as possible. If there are any open issues relating to your experience, please contact [redacted], General Manager, on his cell [redacted].
Additionally, we did ask why the consumer wanted to do business with us when she obviously has such a bad perception of us. She has bashed us publically on [redacted] without coming in to buy what she wants. We are concerned that she will be a bad customer. The only other review she has made on [redacted] is against another car dealer.
There are so many other dealers, why is she persisting? Perhaps because we have the best selection and pricing.
Doing business with us is easy. Just show up and be prepared to buy.

The Dealership Management apologizes for the experience you had while purchasing your vehicle. If there is anything about the purchase that needs correction, let us know. 100% of all products we offer as part of the purchase is optional. We have been in business over 41 years and make most consumers happy.

The dealership senior management will set an appointment to review the vehicl's service file with the customer and re-inspect the vehicle at the same time. We will also verify that there is nothing wrong with Jeep.
 
If the customer wants to take th Jeep to another repair shop...

for a second opinion, the dealership will pay for that inspection fee. If the other shop finds something wrong, the dealership will verify those findings and correct them at our shop.

The dealership billed the customer for the difference of what was quoted as a payoff when they sold us their car and what the bank requested be paid in order to obtain the title. The dealership is out the money. We would like reimbursement. As for the sales tax refund, the dealership will issue a...

new refund check and stop payment on the other check issued. Last, the dealership will have the [redacted] General Manager, call the customer to discuss this matter and get all issues resolved on 5/8/14.

Revdex.com:Purchased my Jeep Cherokee on 5/26/2014. When doing the financing I was trading in my current car which had a total payoff of $20529.69. My auto payment went through on 5/28/2014 and lowered the payoff amount to $20114.47. When it came time for Huntington Beach Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to payoff the trade in vehicle they paid only $20114.47. I called in June 2014 Huntington Beach Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and talked with an accountant who said they should be sending out a refund check for $415.22. I have not received a refund check for $415.22 and I have not received any return calls to explain why it has not been refunded. I have called and left multiple messages every month for [redacted] (my leasing agent) and have not received a return call. This issue was already brought up in a complaint that was supposedly resolved 9/13/2014, but I have yet to receive the full refund or any calls, texts, or emails from the dealer to resolve this complaint. I did receive a check for ~$66 for a sales tax error. The $415.22 has still yet to be resolved or refunded. The business is being very slow on the refund.Refund check for $415.22.

As for consumers complaining about things being added and not requested, it does not happen. We have a fail safe compliant disclosure process wherein all items purchased are fully disclosed and signed for. There are those consumers that have a change of heart overnight that complain. In reality, all they need to do is call and ask for a refund and will get it.

It's the first time for me to know a dealership DO NOT do business with international students. Thank you so much, Huntington Beach Jeep. I'm currently an international student in CA and this is the fifth year for me to stay in US. I talked with the dealer for a few days via phone and when I went to the store, they told me, they could not sell vehicles to international student because I'm holding a F-1 visa instead of a green card or working visa. I have proof of living address, proof of bank statement, I20, visa, passport, I took everything I have but they did not even ask for!! I left the dealer and after a four or five hours, the sales call back and said if I would like to pay $1995 then I could purchase the vehicle. The dealership has their own policy, and I understand that. But I want people especially the students like me to read my review. Why should I pay more than the others just because of my identity!

The business response in no way addresses the multiple issues brought up in my complaint . I am not trying to extort any sort of repair at all . because as said in my complaint I was never told what fluid, or why my car was leaking.. [redacted] initially told me what my car needed and why, and when I did not believe him he offered to show me the" caked up dirt " under my car... when my car was in the air he was unable to show me any such dirt or leaking gasket. that he had just 30 minutes ago said needed a $800 repair.  [redacted] then began saying he needed to remove more parts to see what was actually leaking after quoting $800 for repairs. I find it disgusting that a certified repair tech can quote 800$ for repair . offer to show the customer the issue and when the customer is under the car looking suddenly the story becomes. " we need to take off more parts to find out what is going on "  I placed an accurate review of the treatment I received at your establishment on yelp. with Bureau of Automotive repair. Secretary of Sate. 
you have my address feel free to serve me with a lawsuit. I will file an answer and a countersuit and we will have our day in court. for now I am sure my review is having my intended effect of showing people what type of dealership you are. Have a wonderful day .

Upper Management is aware of the problem and has attempted contact to discuss the issues. It is our goal to completely satisfy our customer and will discuss trading out the truck in question for another in better condition.
