I requested a sample only. Company sent more and more product and charged me over $1600.- over period of 8 months, for the product I did not want and continuously sent back with the request to stop sending the stuff. I only noticed the reoccurring charges at the end of the year when I was doing my taxes.

When I finally found a number I could call, they told me "you need to cancel on the website, you should have read the small print etc. etc."

Their remedy was to refund me 35% of that last charge - about $40.- after scamming me out of $1600.- DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THESE SCAMMERS!!!!!

This customer wrote to you to ask for a refund without talking to us first. I am not sure if they are just confused, however, they have been refunded in full.

Hi,

Review: I signed up for a trial of two products Hydresence and Instalyft RX in April 2015 and the items trail price appears on the credit card statement. Due to family medical issues, I did overlook opting out of the continuing program and am now told that the packages received this month are part of an ongoing program. This new package I opened has no shipping or charge information in it and the second package has not been opened. When I called to ask why I was getting shipments, I was advised that they were part of the ongoing program and I would be charged for them. However, it appears that the product shipped in April should have been charged in that month, which would cause the charge to appear on the April credit card statement and they did not, so to receive additional products with no explanation in May was a surprise. Now, the company advises they cannot accept a return of the unopened items. In addition, cancellation of the program was difficult and I'm not sure it actually went through this morning; customer service pushes to put a "hold" on accounts for two months, forcing customers to again risk failing to stop shipments. The company policy of failing to provide account documents with shipments, refusing to allow returns when there is no record of charges within their stated time frame is unfair to consumers.Desired Settlement: If these charges are on my credit card, I want them removed or credited. I also want t return the product received in May that has not been opened

Hi [redacted],

Review: Hydresence has a website Hydresence-skin.com. It advertised a "free trial" for this product. I ordered the free trial and then found a charge on my credit card for $94.94. The free trial asked only for a shipping charge of $4.99. I called the phone number 1-800-818-6564. This is a number listed on my credit card for "Instalyft" sold by the Hydresence people, same address. I called to cancel the Instalyft (which I have also filed a Revdex.com report with you) and I was told to call the same number to cancel the Hydresence. When I called to cancel the Hydresencer on 4/20/2015 I was told that they would only return 25% of the $94.94. I assumed the same conditions applied to the free trial of Hydresence as were the conditions to the free trial of Instalyft which are that one is supposed to call within two weeks after signing up for the free trial to cancel an order. I did not see those conditions on the website and I am protesting my order here because of deceitful advertising.

Previously on 3/24/15 I also signed up for the free trial (on another credit card) and just found the charge for that free trial on the credit card for $89.97. I would like to protest that charge also with the same deceptive advertising. However, I am willing to pay that charge for my ignorance.Desired Settlement: Full refund of the $94.94 minus the refund granted by the telephone call ( I believe the 25% refund was $23 and some change.). and a consideration for a refund of the $89.97.

RE: [redacted] Complaint ID # [redacted]

I think that this product has reduced the look of my deep wrinkles.

Review: I ordered a FREE sample of this product. I just incurred a debit on my bank account for $94.94.

I specifically indicated I was ONLY interested in the free sample. I called and got the run-around that they automatically put me on their mailing list to receive future products even though I specifically indicated I was only interested in the sample.

This charge is going to affect me financially and any products I receive from them I will refuse.

This is why people get so upset when they try a product. Their account information always goes into the system to continue incurring charges even when they cancel the product. I ALWAYS do that when I order a trial of something and it doesn't always work.Desired Settlement: $94.94 IMMEDIATELY

Customer has been refunded for their requested amount. I am sorry that you were confused, however on our site hydresence-skin.com we do make our customers very aware of our auto-ship program. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience and I hope the refund will resolve this matter. Have a nice weekend.

Review: I ordered a trial size of face creams from Hydresence skin and instalyft not seeing the auto renew on the order form. They sent me out the creams and I called right away to return them as I didn't want their product. they said I couldn't return them and charged my credit card for them. I cancelled the auto order and when I got my credit card they charged me $89.98 for each jar on Aug.13 and they charged me again this time $94.94 and $95.96 for the jars. I have been trying to get in touch with them but no one answers the phone.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund on the $95.96 and $94.94 jars that I didn't get and don't want. I will pay for the two $89.97 sent on auto that I didn't know about because I did get those jars even though I wanted to send them back.

Hi,

Review: This company needs to be stopped. It advertises a free sample of cream for 4.95 (for shipping). They get your credit card for the "shipping" part, but then proceed to send your more product. I immediately called them when they notified me via e-mail that they were going to send me more product asking them not to. I specifically said - please do not send me any more product. I do not want anymore product. I only wanted to try a sample to see if it would work for me. They finally agreed to take off 50% of the charges. I would like a full refund I did not want this product and did not realize they were scamming me once they had my credit card.Desired Settlement: Full refund of my money - no charges to my personal credit card account except for shipping charges. They should be stopped from this slippery way of doing business.

Regards,

Review: Apparently during a recovery period after major surgery, while on pain medication, I accepted a "sample" of beauty cream for only the coat of shipping and handling. I say "apparently" because I have no recollection of the time frame or details. And I have no records to confirm this acceptance. The first "sample charge" posted on my Visa on 5/14/15. Two products arrived, the other called Instaylftrx, indicating that they must be used together. When my Visa bill arrived on 6/1, I saw that I had two sample charges, $4.97 and $5.99, plus another charge of $89.97 on 5/29. I called one of the phone numbers, though later I realized the Visa bill showed to different numbers. I was told I could not cancel the order or have charges reversed. My insistence caused them to say they would and m another sample for shipping and handling only. Plus they ant m an email for a free voucher from a company called Hamsa. I did not want either of these, but felt exasperated trying to get my point across. I assumed th problem was resolved until 2 more charges showed up on my Visa: 7/13 for $50.98 and 7/14 for $49.96. I feel while I was under medical distress I became a victim of an Internet scam. I have written a letter to the company, sending back 3 containers of product, mailing package open, but product untouched. Two other envelopes were returned to sender unopened. I have been out of town for an extended stay and have not have the ability to fully deal with this matter until now. I am hoping for a good resolve on this matter, to include a credit of $201.87 total to date on my Visa. This is totally unlike me to ft involved in this kind of thing and I believe it was during this medically distressful time that this happened. Thanks for attention in this matter.Desired Settlement: I want my credit card charges reversed in the amount of $201.87 total. If I were to accept anything it would be to be responsible for the first two sample charges for $4.97 and $5.99 and beyond that consider this transaction cancelled which would credit back he other 3 charges: $89.97, $49.96, $50.98!!!!!

Hi,

Review: HydreSence, has a person on board that looks up your name and other info to verify sales. This is great. I saw a week after I had ordered the product, the underhanded marketing, done on web sites with other people. It involves sending out two of their products free ... you only pay shipping and handling. What they refuse to tell you is the cost of the products. And how it is that they make you a customer. I was told by the Gentlemen that I talked to, that I did not want to be billed any futher. He told me to call back before the end of July. I told him to put me down for no longer wanting the product and that was the end of our conversation. Now I get billed for 98.97 twiced for there products. And when I called I was told that because I had not told them before the 1 of August, I would billed half.Desired Settlement: All I want is my other half of monies.

Response:

I have refunded the other half of your purchase in full. I am sorry that you feel you were mislead, as the terms and conditions, and enrollment in the auto-ship are prominent in several spots on our site. I hope this resolves the issue.

Review: Hello,

I purchased a trial (14 days from date of purchase) for this product. I called the company before the time was up to cancel because I had run into some other companies who charged outrageous prices as soon as the 14 days was up. The lady I talked to convinced me to try the product and gave me until May 18th to cancel. I called their number: 1-800-532-4390 on May 16, 2015 to cancel and the gentleman that answered assured me that he cancelled my account. It was correlated to my address of 601 Minnow Lane, Wilderville, OR 97543 and telephone number of 541-955-5556. He said that he would send me an email to verify but he never did.

Now today my bank account was charged $67.48 by Hydresence. I have written them an email. Now I’m complaining to you so that other people don’t get caught up in this scam. The address on the box the produce came in is:14781 Pomerado Road, #243, Poway, CA 92064 and their email is hydresence-skin.com . Thank you for whatever you can do.

Warmest regards,

Today I called Hydresence to ask them to reverse the $67.48 that they charged me even after I cancelled the account. ‘Danielle’ said that I was disconnected from customer service on May 16 so my account didn’t get cancelled. I WAS NOT DISCONNECTED. The gentleman said goodbye and I hung up. He assured me that he had cancelled my account and wouldn’t be charged anything for the product.

This is the third company to do this to me. I have learned my lesson to the tune of $300!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a SCAM and must be stopped. I read the fine print, I knew what I was doing. I called before the deadline to cancel and got charged anyway. The products supposedly backed by Dr. OZ are all scams!! Isn’t there something that you can do to stop this? I am a REALTOR® and I do not have this kind of money for anything!! What else can I do?

Please advise ASAP. Thank you for your help in this matter.

You can’t trust anyone anymore!

Sincerely,

Real Estate Broker

Hi,

Review: The website for Instalyft Skin Care offers a "free trial" of its product with only a shipping charge of 4.99. My credit card was charged $94.94 and I called to cancel the charge. I was told that I was supposed to call in within two weeks to cancel an order and that only 25% of the $94.94 could be refunded. I did not see anywhere on the webpage that I had to cancel in two weeks. The web page is instalyftcream.com.I think this is deceptive advertising and would like a full refund of my money. I have a similiar complaint with the product HydreSence which has the same phone number and I will file an additional complaint for this product. Phone no. I called was [redacted]Desired Settlement: Full refund of $94.94; not just 25%. And make company say in large letters on their free trial add that the customer is required to call and cancel within two weeks to not be charged the full $94.94 and just the shipping. I am really mad and stupid.

Review: I ordered the "Free Exclusive Trial". I was charged the $4.97 "shipping charge" on my debit card. I checked online on my checking account and realized Instalyft had charged me $89.97 more! I called Instalyft and explained that this account needed to be cancelled and I wanted the entire amount refunded. "[redacted]" the woman I spoke with said that was impossible. I explained that I would contact an attorney and the Revdex.com. She asked me to hold and came back on the phone to say the account was cancelled and they would refund 35% of the charge. I told her that was unacceptable and they would be hearing from my attorney. She asked me to hold again. She came back and said they would cancel the account and refund 50% of the charge and that was the best she could do. She said I should see the refund in 2 to 3 business days. I asked for a confirmation number that the account had been cancelled. She said she would send an email stating this. I, of course never received any email. These people are scam artists and I will make sure to tell anyone who will listen, especially an attorney, how they prey on people. You have had at least 18 complaints against this company. Why isn't something being done? What do we as consumers have to do to get justice? I can assure you that I will not let this rest. I will take this as far as I have to take it in order to get a full refund and no other charges are made to my account. I will use the social media to get the word out to as many people as I can. If I don't have a full refund in 2 to 3 business days, I will continue to my next step.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund and the account cancelled. No more charges should be on my account.

I have refunded the customer in full at this time. Please allow a few business days for the money to show back in your bank account. I am sorry that the trial was not what you expected. Please note that we may have 18 complaints , but we also have 10s of thousands of customers. I am sorry your experience was unsatisfactory and I hope the the refund will resolve this issue.

Review: Advertising appears to be $5.99 when after 14 days you are charged $87.97 for each of 2 jars sent. Tired to call on day 14 but could not get through. Got through on day 15 but charge s would not be removed. Was promised $100 credit vachure for compensation but it did not arriveDesired Settlement: Credit for product which made my face break out and the cost was very misleading

I am sorry that this customer did not see the terms and conditions. They are listed on our site hydresence-skin.com. In fact, underneath the checkout button the customer must read terms and conditions and agree to them in order to process their transaction. I would like to give her a refund, but unfortunately, before she contacted us, she contacted the bank so they must settle the dispute at this point. If she has not contacted the bank yet I can issue a refund for her. Could you please find out for us?

Review: Last August I read an ad on the computer for a “free” trial offer of a face cream “HydreSence” and all I had to do was to pay the shipping of $4.97. I received the product, tried it, but didn’t like the way it felt on my skin. Since it was a free trial, I didn’t return it.

About a month later I received another jar of the cream, so I figured they were trying to get me to order more. There was no invoice with any dollar amount in the package, just a white paper with the product name. If there had been an invoice showing a dollar amount I would have had the opportunity to call and get a refund. I only wanted the free trial. This went on for a few months. Sometime in November I was looking for something unrelated to this product on my credit card statement and noticed that I had been charged the $4.97 and also $89.97 starting in August. I immediately called the company and spoke to a young man who kept trying to sell me more products, so I finally asked for a Supervisor. Karen came on the line, I explained what I was calling about and she said that I should have canceled within fourteen days. I did not see anything on their website to indicate anything about a 14 day cancellation. “This was an offer for a “free” sample…I wasn’t signing up for anything. Anyway after some heated conversation on my part, Karen said they would refund the $89.97 (I only received $47.47). However, at that time I was not aware they had been charging my credit card each month for 4 months for $94.64.

I called my credit card company back in December and explained what was going on. It has taken more than 2 months to investigate the charges and I have received 4 letters (4 separate charges), along with some print-outs from the website, (obviously they have now had time to change the website) telling me that there is nothing they can do...the charges will stay on my account.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund from this company, as I believe there was deception on their part with respect to their website.

1 payment of $89.97

4 payments of $94.64

Response:

As customer has stated she chose to bring this to her credit card company for dispute, instead of us for the refund. I am Willing to refund half of the charges, as we are monetarily penalized for every charge she disputed. Please let me know if that would be a compromise that would work?

Review: After watching an on-line video showing almost instant amazing results of a skin care product, I followed the link and purchased what I believe to be a free 14 day trial of the Hydresence. When I was checking out an additional product, instalyft, was auto added to my cart and I was unable to remove it. This companion product was advertised to be a 14 day free trial as well, so I proceeded with the order, with the understanding I would only be billed the nominal shipping charges. When I received my credit card statement today I was shocked to see two charges for $89.97. I called the customer service number on my statement and told the representative I was unaware I was going to be billed additional charges and I would like to return the unused portion of the products for a full refund. I also asked to be immediately removed from any memberships. I was told it was not necessary to return the products and I was not eligible for a refund since the 14 day trial had expired. We then had a conversation about the use and ineffectiveness of the products. I told the representative I had been using them as directed and I was dissatisfied because there was no noticeable improvement. When I said I was going to file a complaint I was offered a 35% discount. I said I was not satisfied with this resolution and again asked if I could return the unused portion for a full refund. I went back to review the website after the call and feel the information provided is very deceptive. I also don't understand how the additional product got added to my cart. In addition, I feel 14 days, from order date, is an in reasonably short period of time for a customer to test and return a skin care product, the price charged is excessive and based on my experience the results shown in the video are a complete fabrication.Desired Settlement: I would like the balance of the charges applied to my credit card for Hydresence and Instalyft, which I did not knowingly agree to, to be removed.

This customer has been refunded in full as of today 9/17/15. In looking through the notes it appeared that Ms. [redacted] negotiated a partial refund and was happy at the time. However, as stated I have refunded in full

Review: The advertisement says free trial. But it really is not. You think to try a facial product at least 30 days to see if it works. But I never saw the writing that the trial was for 14 days. That you needed to call them before the 14 days or you will be charged the full price of the product. Right $89.00 for 2 facial creams that so far hasn't worked. I requested a refund of the $170.00 but they advised that I was too late and that I was past the 14 days as of April 1st. I believe they hook you in for the free trial thinking to use the product see if it works, but are not up front with the time or the true cost of the product. Not right how they get away with hood winking people.Thank you for your time.[redacted]Desired Settlement: Request a full refund. Why would you want something that doesn't work?Thank you

Hi [redacted], I am sorry that Ms [redacted] had such a poor experience with our product. In looking through our notes I can see she spoke with a customer service representative on 4/8/15 who offered her a 50% refund on her purchase to help remedy the situation, to which Ms. [redacted] declined and ended the call abruptly. I am going to apply that 50% credit of $89.97 today because I do not want any of our valued customers to feel “hoodwinked” as Ms. [redacted] suggests. Again, on our checkout page www.hydresence-skin.com, the terms and conditions are listed and make you click an additional box stating you understand the auto-ship billing policy. Please advise Ms. [redacted] the refund has been processed and should be in her account within a few days. Thank you, [redacted]

No credit back to my account per phone conversation after I cancelled or stop the mailing of the product.Desired Settlement: Refund of the money they charge me.
