Idea Buyer, LLC Reviews (136)

In regards to the complaint filed by Mr***, Idea Buyer has found several inaccuracies and missing informationWe first will start by addressing website specific statements claimed by Mr*** and then will provide the Revdex.com with information Mr*** neglected to share.? It is of our record
that Mr*** did pay our company $7,In the contract (see attachment/ email) dated November 2, you will find that the agreement states Mr*** was contractually obligated to pay Idea Buyer $8,Additionally, the work outlined in the proposal has been completed as the ability presented itself.? It is of Idea Buyer practice that we provide our clients with updates and request feedback for any deliverables presentedMr*** had every opportunity to request revisions to said deliverables and he took advantage of said opportunitiesIdea Buyer met every request in regards to his website which can be found at? http://official***.com/Our team is unsure as to why Mr*** is unhappy with the website as we accommodated his requests for revisions.? In regards to his comments about the review section, any reviews that had been provided to Idea Buyer would have been usedIf Mr*** did not provide the written reviews he wanted to be on the website, our developers would have used "filler" for coding purposes to make sure that the site worked properlyMr*** would have had the opportunity to make changes before publicly promoting his website.Mr*** is claiming that Idea Buyer only provided him with a websiteBelow we have outlined the deliverables provided to Mr*** and the dates providedAttachments not able to be uploaded via the Revdex.com portal will be sent via email to [email protected] 28, 2015- Research report including sales projections and a licensing audit.January 6, 2016- Seven Logo concepts(Attached)Feburary 5, 2016- Two Shirt Design Concepts (Attached)Feburary 9, 2016- Three additional Shirt Design Concepts (Attached)April 21, 2016- Package Design Version (Attached)Mr*** then additionally requested that we also provide him with tag designs for inside of the shirtsWhile not in his proposal, Idea Buyer did do several revisions of this deliverable.? April 20, 2017- Idea Buyer added additional shirt designs to the client's website.? With new designs, our team did a second round of outreach, per buyer category schedules on July 7, 2017, July 31, and January 5, Updates were provided, including an email on August 31, stating "We are still reaching out to buyers and following up on previously contacted buyersI will email you with any feedback as I get it."Idea Buyer did not receive interest responses from those buyers either.? On January 24, Mr*** began threatening Idea Buyer employeesHis first email stated that he wanted a full refund for "crap services and lies" within three days or that he would be filing a complaint on Revdex.com and FTC.? He spoke to two Idea Buyer employees who attempted to help him and he continued his threatsHe additionally threatened to contact news stations to tell them he is a disabled veteran and "this is how Idea Buyer treats disabled veterans"This threat of defamation is another example of how Mr*** is falsifying his story to get what he wants.? As of yesterday afternoon, he let us know that he had hired an attorneyIdea Buyer legal is now available for that conversation with his attorneyHe also stated, "As promised, I have contacted the Revdex.com and FTC."? It is concerning that the Revdex.com is being misused by a consumer such as Mr***Mr*** is blatantly defaming and slandering Idea Buyer while abusing the use of Revdex.com and FTC.? Like stated at the beginning of the response to Mr***'s complaint, he did not fulfill his contractual obligation, however Idea Buyer didThere will be no refund givenWe respectfully request this complaint be removed as it is and misuses the Revdex.com

I am not interested in discussing any further agreement with Idea Buyer that requires more funds on my partApparently my
$7,(plus the supposedly $17,from Idea Buyer, as stated in the contract) was not enough to make this work the first timeI know that nothing actually went towards? any form of development/research/marketing/ (per our original contract) because what you have produced is everything I provided you with from day of our agreement in (excluding the color change on the box I had previously designed) Based on this, I am not clear on what justifies your request (and legal counsel?) required to move this forward.? If you have nothing more to offer then please stop wasting my time.? ?

We will do mediation

Regards,

Mr. [redacted] submitted a negative review after we caught him trying to fish leads from our website and committing fraud by submitting fake leads to our team with the intent of utilizing confidential information and processes to start his competitive business (please see his signature line). After he...

was caught doing this, he immediately filed a Revdex.com complaint and posted negative reviews. Please keep in mind that he has endorsed the very team members he has slandered over 30 times on LinkedIN in the last 45 days and posted a great review of us less than 30 days ago.For full disclosure, prior to his complaint, we had already started pursuing litigation against Jeff following the discovery of his fishing attempts which violates Ohio fraud laws.If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.Best,Eric

Hello,     Attached is a full write up of the deliverables that have been provided to Ms. [redacted]. We have been fully compliant with our agreement and have lived up to our obligations.  We are happy to discuss a reasonable way to move forward as we would like to continue to work...

Regards,

[redacted] became a client of ours May 29, 2015, and attached is the proposal and contract terms he agreed to. Throughout the Summer of 2015, we had several conversations around the background and goals of our partnership. Our team developed multiple version of product information sheets...

which [redacted] reviewed, suggested changes, and eventually approved for marketing purposes ie landing pages. During the two years of being partners we have requested from [redacted] shared credentials or admin access on numerous occasions and from multiple team members to allow our marketing and development team access to be able to perform our affiliate marketing duties. The basis of our affiliate marketing does requires us to do tracking. The client suggested a cloud based service that our marketing and development team does not utilize. We use Google Analytics for tracking and have generated proven results in our marketing efforts. In our over ten years of being in business we have created, managed, and grown hundreds of websites and have websites that are currently generating thousands of leads on a monthly basis. Our most successful partnerships have a strong foundation of trust which allows us to perform and generate growth and results for our clients - in this form of marketing - our clients always provide us with one of the following options - login credentials or creating an admin account for our team with access to what we need. We have researched and organized several lists of affiliate strategies and have been ready to implement, track, analyze, and tweak based on performance for these but without cooperation from the client we have not been able to move forward on any of our strategies.

Upon further review of the complaint, we noticed that it was the same complaint that was submitted 10/10/2016. This has been resolved since and we have continued to go above and beyond. After the initial complaint he has been in constant communication with. Our outreach director has emailed him...

numerous times and has not heard any negative feelings from him. Her last communication was on October 11, 2017 and she was in the process of performing another outreach report for him as I talked to her. On another note the contract that we signed with Nicholas was a 24 month contract. We have gone above and beyond our contract. Us continuing to reach out to buyers even after his contract because we do believe in it. As per his contract we can not guarantee financial gain, that does not mean Idea Buyer hasn't positioned him in the best possible light to potential buyers.

I am rejecting this response because: The focus was only on the Sell Sheet, which I wrote. The reason we went back forth was because I had to edit and write the Sell Sheet; they were more concerned about selling the products before making them. They promised me on the phone to have me up and running no later than 6 months ... it's been now 11 months and we haven't even started on the website which was the only thing they planned to do for my $10,000. After the site was build, they were going to try to sell products we have yet to make! The samples they sent to Ricky's were not the products we plan to sell to the market; it was false advertising. They sent me three samples of what they thought would be a logo or branding mark however, it was very unprofessional and unfit to wrap around a beauty product container, so I suggested that we stick with my original logo. We never had a conversation where everything was fine. I was always the person who initiated contact, they never contacted me (one time) with any ideas of moving forward. Instead, they tried to appease me by suggesting they were going to work on my site. However, Feb, March, April, May and June went by with no contact from Idea Buyers. I'm a small business ... very small, we've been hurt by this investment and could have used these funds to purchase inventory and advertise the current product line that I already have. Now I'm losing business because I can't keep up with my inventory which may drive me out of business. If Idea Buyer's would have been honest and informed me that it may take up to two years to get started on my project I would not have sent them a payment. I have lost confidence that I deal Buyer was the right move for me and feel like I was suckered into a deal that they were not qualified to handle; they told me up front that they've never created hair-care products before, but were excited after doing a background check on the market. My company has been damaged by this investment and I'm just asking for my money back!

I provided my domain information, and was not provided information about having to buy the domain name in advance (see attachment where I provide the login info).  Also, I was never notified when the patent was filed, I had to ask for that information.  even with the information provided, I was not able to find the patent doing a search.  This process has been very sketchy.

Hello,    This complaint comes after Mr. [redacted]'s attorney contacted us and our attorney responded. The Revdex.com complaint was filed afterwards. I have attached a break down of what was completed for Mr. [redacted] and the timeline. We have been fully compliant with our agreement with Mr....

[redacted] and had a large retailer request samples. We are open to an amicable way to move forward in working together. Best,Eric

We will do mediation.

I am responding to each one of her items below my answers are in bold text:First, Idea Buyers (IB) mentioned that they have been working for us free of charge over the last several months.  I didn’t know we were working on a timeframe.  There are no dates and times on the agenda.  We asked for deadlines to be put in place multiple times.   We spent more than a year pursuing a patent for a product we did not have.  We were offering a service, therefore, no patent required….something IB should have known. IB mentioned the number of emails sent.  The majority of them were back and forth emails trying to set up a time to talk to someone at IB.  I always felt that we were being avoided because they really had no real information to give us.  Common excuses would be ‘away on holiday’ or ‘wrapping up a call’ or ‘need to sit down with other team members’ and ‘away on other business’. The contract that [redacted] agreed too and signed and [redacted] helped pay for is very straightforward and simple - the time frame stated in this contract is a 24 month. The majority of our clients want to extend their contract based on our performance and good relationship with them. We have offered this option to [redacted] in the interim while we discuss the progress we have made and next steps, she declined insisting to get all of their files instead.  I want to address Idea Buyer’s (IB) comments.  He expressed his disregard for the money that was paid.  $8500 is a lot of money to come out of the average person’s purse especially with what we have received in return.  Although [redacted] may not have signed the contract she was heavily involved and also signed the check IB received.  He also showed his sudden disregard for [redacted] like she was not a part of this process as she has been involved from the onset.   We did not and have not ever disregarded our clients or our own resources, we invest heavily into each one of our clients projects and as a company do not cut any corners and typically end up investing more than what we originally agreed to, in order to get the job done. [redacted] has been involved from the onset, but the contract is with [redacted] and that is who our client is.  Professional branding??  What branding have you done?   What is IB definition of branding?  Professional Market research and professional business case could have been found on line – google.  We have been working with IB on a web site for over two years and still no operating website.  As far as timing, IB had the ball in their court 90% of the time.    On the documents mentioning the steps we were to take during the process did not show a date that the steps would be completed.  Trademark…ok.  Video refund was provided because IB recognized the poor quality as well.  I still lost money on airline, hotel, and incidental costs, etc.  Good business sense would have been to do the video in my hometown at a reputable videographer location.  There again no regard for my money was shown by IB. The branding we have completed went through several revisions and we have created multiple file formats for them as well. The video quality was not poor, the client wanted to do her own video after doing one with us and we agreed to refund her video budget because our goal is to put our clients in the best position for their businesses to grow. There is an operating website, we host it currently and pay for that hosting. The link is here - [redacted] - this website went through over five revisions over the course of several months, but we continued to tweak based on the clients requests and we did until they approved the website. This claim that there is no website is false, what we have asked is if the client has their domain and host so we can transfer it to them, we do not purchase clients domain names or hosting since this is their business.  With all the outreach done to universities and colleges, etc., still no outcome. We put in bold and all capitals in our agreements that we do not and cannot guarantee any results from our outreach phase. This is something every client and every small business owner knows, you cannot guarantee success in the marketplace, that would be a lie if we told people that.  Yes, we thought about continuing with IB, but to what end?  We have asked IB to give us an end result forecast to this venture and IB cannot and has not provided an answer.  We started approximately 3/15/15 and here we are at 7/2017 and nothing. Incorrect, we discussed a plan and we discussed high level details of a future plan, but the client refused to acknowledge and agree on the work we have already delivered. It’s our position that before we agree on a plan moving forward that we agree on everything we have accomplished and this is where the client stopped cooperating and created a complaint on the Revdex.com.  IB claims we were pushing for a new strategy…..what we were actually doing, as we have for two plus years is get IB to understand our vision.  You cannot get skilled nurses out of colleges.  In other words, IB was looking in the wrong places to find what I was asking for.  This is why my vision was provided early in the process.  There were multiple IB employees involved in this process due to high turnover rate or just a smoke screen, therefore, a possible breakdown in communications. There are multiple employees involved because we are a fast growing, debt free company that has a sought after culture - we continue to hire more team members and expand our resources quarterly to match our growth. We did not suggest you can get skilled nurses at colleges, this was something the clients asked us to do - pursue colleges and connect with the nursing departments at universities for feedback and suggestions.  IB is offering to continue the steps as outlined in the agenda.  2.5 years later we are still on step 1.  We are looking at what could be several years down the road.  For example, if it took 2.5 years to get to where we are now (step 1). We are looking at more than 10 yrs. til start up.  This is unacceptable.  We have asked IB since 2015 to send us an example of a service oriented company that they have set up.  No response.  We have completed more than step 1 and this can easily be verified with the work we have already sent over.  IB mentioned that a FULL refund was not in order.  At this point, we deserve a full refund since IB knew at the beginning there was nothing they could do to get this business off the ground.  They just wanted our money.  We were scammed.  Had it been a special tool that we were trying to take to market IB might have had a better handle on what to do.  But we will accept a full/fair refund amount.  This is the only resolution that makes sense to us. Again, we cannot and will not offer a full refund - we would be, out of good faith, willing to offer a partial refund of $2,500 if the client does not wish to continue moving forward. We have done 2.5 years of work and have completed several items in our agreement and several items outside of the agreement that we did not charge for. We do not scam clients and the majority of the products and services that get offered to us for partnership we turn down. We are very selective with who we work with and we have a track record of proven results and success. We are not out to nickel and dime clients or create work that they are not satisfied with. We set a very high standard for our employees and our workplace and we will continue to work to improve the way we operate!

Dear Revdex.comWith regard to complaint #[redacted]  First, Idea Buyers (IB) mentioned that they have been working for us free of charge over the last several months.  I didn’t know we were working on a timeframe.  There are no dates and times on the agenda. I asked over and over for my agreement from them -they never sent it to me. I was told once my product was successful (5months fast track program) that I could pay the remainder of the balance. I asked over and over and over again for my signed contract they never produced it. They threatened me and said they would take all my money and garnish my wages and they also tried to take away my first amendment right. I did the same thing they did in three days for less then $1000 that they did in a year and a half - I never got any patent help I was told that they reached out to prospective buyers and when I contacted such buyer they never heard of my product or them. They try and use a scare tactic to subdue clients. Once I called them out on what was going on they said I owe them money. They never completed anything they started and I emailed over and over and over again. They said   I only paid $4000 so basically I am nothing. They are misleading and sold me on something they never full filled - I am doing it all myself. All I wanted is for ALL of us to make money and have a great product which is really needed. Again very bad business tactics. Even the name is very misleading Idea Buyer they don't buy anything. I have legal counsel and he agrees with me. I have everything and proof and it does not add up to $4000 let alone $4500 more. I also asked for an itemization of work done for $4000 and they never gave it to me. I posted something on site jabber  which I am assuming he owns because as soon as I did  not a minute later he threatened me. Its not even about the money - they cost me accounts for the time taken because someone else put a similar product in the same stores they were supposed to. I just don't want anyone else to get hurt by these  people.

[redacted] became a client on January 6, 2016. He was provided with a contract and proposal with a list of objectives to be completed during a 24 month contract. Idea Buyer has provided [redacted] with the following objectives which he has approved along the way. The following objectives were in his...

proposal: professional engineering, packaging, branding, patent filing, website, as well as outreach to retailers. We have successfully provided [redacted] with the following: Market Research, Branding, Renders, Packaging, Sell Sheet, Intellectual Property Valuation, Patent Filing, Website, and several rounds of outreach to retailers. During the 24 months [redacted] was kept updated via emails and phone calls. As always, we hope that our clients are successful, however we were unable to receive a purchase order during out time in outreach. We can never guarantee monetary gain or success, which is stated in our contract. Due to all of the work Idea Buyer has put into this project we do not feel that [redacted] deserves a refund of $10,000 as we have gone above and beyond our contract. All of the above objectives will be attached via email  to Lee Anne as they are too large to send through the portal. We have shipped back [redacted]’ prototypes and I’m providing the tracking  number below. [redacted]
