[redacted] , I have reviewed the serial number you provided and I am showing that the unit was not registered within the day timeframe In order to receive the year warranty the unit had to be registered within days of installation I am showing that the unit was registered on 08/01/2013, which is years outside of the allotted timeframe Therefore, your unit is no longer under warranty Please provide the repair invoices of your unit and I can look into possibly of conceding an extended parts warranty, but I would be unable to refund for previous repairs Best Regards, Adam G [redacted] Manager of Consumer Affairs

Ms [redacted] , The replacement coil will be a aluminum coil, this was confirmed by our parts department You contractor can go to his local distributor and get the replacement coil He will need to supply the serial number to your coil Again, the aluminum coil will be provided free of charge, however per company policy parts and labor are not covered under warranty Best Regards, Adam G [redacted] Manager of Consumer Affairs

when we called them they even told us where the unit was replaced before after we bought it under warrantyThat was the serial number that they originally put on the warrantyWe asked them then if it would mess us up on the warranty by the serial numbers being different and they told us not to worry and it had a year warranty on the unit itself and lifetime on the heat exchangerThey even told us on the phone today that they seen when the unit was purchased there is no cards or anything to fill out for the warranty it was all done over the phone because we tried to log in under their web site and it wouldn't let us register it because it said the unit was already registeredWe called them on the phone and asked them what we needed to do to make sure this was registered for the warranty and they told us nothing it was already doneNow they are asking for a certification that they were supposed to have sent to us and we have no knowledge of certificationIt would be a little different if we had cards to fill out and send in we could take a copy of but when you do this all over the phone it's not the customers fault that the company doesn't keep proof when calledWhen the unit was replaced I had to cuss the out and threaten to take them to court and the unit was brand newNever installedWhat's bad about is they told us that they would never stand behind this other unitI tried to get my money back and everything for it and I couldn'tI told them off again and they said relax we will cover it and laughed and hung the phone upI want this unit fixed and that's all

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint Unfortunately, the Revdex.com website doesn't have an option to pick from where the merchant is requesting more information Therefore, that is why I selected "I do not accept the response" In answer to the merchants question, the serial of the A/C unit in question is [redacted] I was of the understanding due to previous repairs to this same unit, that the warranty was going to be extended to years That is what the builder of the home had advised the last time I had a problem with this unit I do appreciate Goodman reviewing my complaint and hopefully will extend the warranty for the unit in question and reimburse the $I paid out of pocket to repair this unit I can forward a copy of the invoice if the merchant prefers Or I can forward the company name and phone number of the repair service I used.Thanks! Ms [redacted] , I do apologize about the problems you have encountered with your unit, however we are showing that this unit was never registered for the year warranty All Goodman Manufacturing units are shipped out with a standard manufacturer's warranty of years If the units are registered within days of installation, then the unit would receive a year warranty You do not pay for the year warranty, however you must register the unit within days of installation to receive this warranty I am not sure what you are speaking of in regards to losing registrations, as registrations are processed daily.Next, the Compcare Warranty that you speak of is a warranty that only covers the compressor You do not register for this warranty, this warranty requires that a check/money order be sent to Goodman Manufacturing, along with the paperwork that you have submitted We never received the paperwork that you have in hand and there was never a payment processed for this warranty as it was never sent in If you believe you should have this warranty a canceled check would need to be supplied The units are installed by licensed contractors, however they are not employees of Goodman Manufacturing I am not sure what you had paid your specific contractor for, as all I can speak to is that your unit was never registered, nor was the Compcare warranty ever received, therefore your unit is out of warrantyRegards, Adam42858Goodman Manufacturing

Dear Revdex.com/Mr [redacted] , We were able to reach a solution to Mr [redacted] 's issues outside of the Revdex.com A message was sent to [email protected] yesterday asking that this case be administratively closedSolution:- Goodman Manufacturing offered $dollars toward the cost of replacing the evaporator coil.- Goodman Manufacturing gave Mr [redacted] a labor warranty for the remainder of his unit's warrantyBoth sides found this resolution acceptable and request that the complaint be closed Attached are copies of the settlement papers
