The website has published my personal information without my permission. I have gone through their opt out process minus submitting a government ID. Similar websites Are able to remove user information without putting the user through such difficulty. This company does not even have a physical address listed why would I want to submit more personal information to them when I never gave them my information in the first place. They do not respond to email inquiries and refused to remove my information.

Infotracer.com Response • Feb 12, 2019

To whomever it may concern, I wish to inform *** that after careful review of this complaint and our online system, I can find no communication between *** and our Dedicated Care Team in regard to their Opt-Out Request. It is possible that *** may have contacted us under a different email address in which case I would not have been able to locate the communication. As a courtesy, I have removed ***’s information. An email confirmation was sent on February 6, 2019. We ask for identification for all data removal requests because the ID will ensure that we have matched the correct information to that individual being removed. *** can find our Opt-Out Policy with easy to follow steps for removal here: https://www.infopay.com/optout.php Infopay deals with publicly available information, but we cannot guarantee that anyone's public information will not be made available again. I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #***. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved. I will say I disagree that there opt out policy is "easy" as the manager stated or I would not have had to go through the Revdex.com. I Should SIMPLY be able to opt out with providing more information "that is not public" like my ID to a company I never chose to do business with in the first place

They advertised that they could get me a copy of my marriage license and charged me $3.98 for it and didn't provide a copy of the license. When I called and asked for a refund because they failed to provide the requested copy they advertised they could provide I was charged a second time. I am willing to provide a copy of an email they sent me stating I was refunded the money and a bank statement showing they charged me a second time. I called the 800 number and told them what happened and they denied having charged me a second time. I have received over 20 emails from them stating my account had been suspended in less than 24 hours. I offered to allow them to see my bank statement and they said I wasn't reading the statement correctly and the email stating that they had refunded my money. My bank statement can be deciphered by a 2 year old. Items being charged against my account appear in red with a minus sign in front and items being put into the account are in black. They have behaved very rude and insulting stating I am ignorant of pretty much everything.

To whom it may concern, I have reviewed the emails that *** exchanged with our dedicated Customer Care Team Members. The representative informed *** that the information could not be found since RecordsFinder.com is a non-FCRA company that deals with publicly available information only. RecordsFinder does not provide licenses or certificates of any kind but may provide general public marriage information. You can find this in our Terms of Service: https://members.recordsfinder.com/customer/terms?tab=termsI have carefully reviewed the charges in question. A charge of $3.98 was refunded on 02/02/2019 since *** was dissatisfied with the service. There are two additional charges that were declined by our processor. It's possible that these declined charges are still pending with ***'s bank which is why *** sees them on their bank statement. I recommend *** calls their bank in order to resolve the issue in full. I have contacted Accucom Corporation doing business as infotracer.com multiple times to remove my personal information from their site. This company doesn't care what life-threatening situation you could be in. All the other websites have removed my personal information with no hesitation, but this company just keeps ignoring my requests. I do not wish to provide any additional information about myself to them to remove the information they already have on their website.

I want all information associated with my name removed. Pleas

I would like to remove/opt-out my information from being made available through Accucom services/ websites and any affiliated sites/databases and to stop my information from being provided to any 3rd parties due to privacy concerns.

Currently there Are 5 different reports for me on the website. They all pertain to me. I want All of these reports and my information removed from all Accucom sites/databases, and any affiliated sites/databases.

I have requested the removal using the form provided on their websites along with a copy of my ID to the 2 opt-out fax numbers provided on their website and the form about 2 months ago and my information is still showing. I also re-faxed the same form 10 days ago. I also emailed them on the opt-out emails 8 days ago. I never received a response to these emails and faxes and my information is still showing on their services.

This lake of response and lake of removing my info is unacceptable. I want my information removed ASAP due to privacy concerns. Making my info easily accessible and then being slow in removing my info in no way, shape or form acceptable. It is the business responsibility to figure a way to make the removal/ opting-out easier and more accessible. The delay/ non-responsiveness in the removal process is due to the business negligence in automating the process and/or processing the request as soon as they arrive.

I was able to remove my information without hassle from more than 30 other similar services in less than 3 days but Accucom is uncooperative in this matter.

On my last couple credit card statements I noticed a few charges from "infopaycom" - three for $18, one for $4.95 and others for $19.95. Having no idea where these charges came from, looked up the company and found that it's DBA Accucom. The same day I had charges from infopaycom, I had fradulent charges on my card from two restaurants within 10 miles of my home - *** (a restaurant I never frequent) and *** Pizza (another restaurant to which I have never been). I will be disputing the charges with *** but I first wanted to issue a complaint about this business. I have no idea how they obtained my information, especially credit card number. I have never had credit card fraud before and this is completely unacceptable. This company needs to be looked into ASAP so other people don't have to deal with this issue.

Infotracer.com Response • Nov 29, 2018

To Whomever This May Concern,

I wish to inform the Revdex.com that I spoke with *** on the phone today to discuss her StateRecords.org account. Ms. disclosed that her credit card information has been used at multiple locations, a possible indication of fraud.

Since Ms. believes these transactions to be fraudulent, I have taken action on the account and fully closed it down.

I offered to refund Ms. account in full. Ms. indicated that she would prefer to dispute the charges rather than receive a refund. No refunds have been processed at her request.

Please note that StateRecords.org provides publicly available information. We do not sell any private information up to and including financial (credit card) information. You can read more information about our policies here: ***

All of this information has been disclosed to Ms. over the phone as well.

Thank you.

Do not even attempt to use this service online. They will then target you with hourly push notifications that never end (at least they haven't ended for the last several weeks. That adds up to hundreds of push notifications. If you complain, they will send you instructions on how to opt out of the push notifications, but somehow they have managed to make the opt-out impossible or ineffective.

Infotracer.com is intentionally making harder for common people to opt out information from their website. They are not government agency and they should not need any reason other than I elect to not have my information involuntarily on their website. I recently dealt with many other companies and their opt out process was very easy and it took me an email or opt out form online and they could remove my information with in 24 - 72 hours. Infotracer is asking me to fill the PDF form and mail to them and wait for 30 days to remove the information. This humbug should stop. If they can crawl my data from various sources online, they should be capable of designing a system online like other sites to make my information removal from their database easily. However, it is clear that they are making the process harder and lengthy so that there are higher changes of people will forget or give up.

The following URL exists on this company's website with personal and inaccurate information about myself:

*** I have requested multiple times this week alone that this link be removed from their website, as it is damaging to my reputation. My multiple requests have been ignored and the information has still not been removed. I have not been contacted by this company at any time for a resolution.

To whom it may concern, I wish to inform the Revdex.com that the customer subscribed to our trial service for $2.95 which provides 5-days unlimited search pass to RecordsFinder.com. Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***. .

1)
In response to Infotracer's message, I did search for my name on their website again. With a regular (nonpaid search), I could not find my name. It appears that I can pay a fee $2.95 to receive the full report on myself. The link is below.
***

2) InfoTracer sent a couple of messages to me. One message did ask for more information to identify myself which I thought did. I receivedthe attached message from the company saying that my information had been removed. However, I was able to find myself on the site again per the message above.

3) I work for a living. I can't always respond right away.

We have processed your Data Removal Request, and have removed the information associated with the Record ID that was the subject of your request.
Keep in mind that this process has only removed the information associated with the Record ID you identified in your request. If you locate a variation of the information of concern, such as an alternative spelling of a first or last name, you must submit a separate Data Removal Request for that information.
Although information is usually removed or blocked permanently, we do not guarantee the information that was the subject of your request will not be available again in the future, as we are not in direct control of the information distributed and obtained from public records sources.
We have no control over any information displayed by other online public records vendors, and your Data Removal Request will not remove information from those vendors’ websites.
Finally, be aware that even after we have removed a record in response to your request, that record may continue to appear in search engine search results until the search engines (***) re-index our site. We have no control over how quickly that re-indexing takes place. You may wish to request that those search engines remove the outdated results.
